You groan, blinking at the smooth stone wall. "Where..." You mutter starting to sit up painfully. A shape catches your eye and you look over to find Kid sitting against the wall, dried blood ran down from his temple. You felt a wave of worry for him and swiftly crawl over. "Kid?" You whisper, touching his shoulder. His eyes drift open and he blinks unfocused.
"Where.... You okay?" He murmurs, blinking sleepily. You relax a bit at that.
"Kinda, just uh, worried about what happened and where we are..." You reply, looking around to see a metal door. Kid also looks around.
"That is a reason to worry..." He agrees. You both look to the door.
"What's the chances of that not being locked?" You joke.
"With this school?" He wonders, raising an eyebrow at you.
"Yeah, better try it, though I'm going to be slightly pissed if it is locked." You mutter, getting up.
"Slightly?" He echoes. You glance at him and sigh.
"Okay very pissed," You correct going and trying the door to find it was indeed locked. You stare at the door, assessing the situation. "Have we... Been kidnapped?" You ask Kid, looking back at him. He frowns at you.
"Why the hell would they kidnap ME?" He says pointedly. You put your hands on your hips and turn to him.
"Why do you say that? Because you're a guy?" You huff. He rolls his eyes.
"No you idiot, no one's going to come for me. So why would they bother?" He replies in annoyance. There's a shocked pause and he turns his back to you. "Nevermind, lets just find a way out," He says, looking around. You shift, feeling a bit guilty.
"I'd kidnap you," You comment. He pauses and turns back to give you the weirdest look you had ever received. "Well... You're scary, so I'd hide you some where..." You say looking down with a slight blush. What the hell were you trying to say? Kid blinks at you surprise, smiling a bit before immediately turning away when you snuck a glance at him.

"Yep, you do drugs," He comments.
"I do not!" You object.
"Sure ya don't... Move over, I might be able to bust it open," He says, suddenly turning around. You get behind him and he lifts an arm at it. The door starts to vibrate and Kid grits his teeth, pushing harder with his power. Nothing. Kid drops his arm, panting slightly. "No good, it's more than metal..." He breathes.
"Uh, what is that anyway?" You ask him.
"Oh yeah, you've never seen it before have you?" He remembers. You shake your head. "It's my inner strength. Everyone has one, most just don't know about it, and they're different." He informs you. You blink, raising an eyebrow.
"Everyone?" You echo tilting your head. He blinks at you, and looks away suddenly.
"Yeah, but it takes some intense emotions to get it to come out," He comments, turning away to look for another option.
"What was your intense emotion?" You ask without thinking. Kid freezes. "Sorry! Forget I asked!" You gasp, covering your mouth. He pauses and looks back at you.
"Relax," He huffs, eyes flickering up to a vent in the ceiling. "There, think you can reach if I pick you up?" he asks. You follow his gaze.
"Maybe, your wounds okay?" You inquire.
"They're going to have to be... Who knows how panicked your friends are right now." He replies, hitting a knee below the vent and patting his shoulder. You go over getting on his shoulders. He gets up too fast and you tense. "Oi, you're gonna crush my head! Relax!" He huffs, tapping your knee.
"Sorry," You squeak, relaxing your legs.
"Can you reach it?" He asks. You look up and reach up, letting out a pained breath. He pauses, "Sorry, we can find another-"
"No, I don't have time to be whining about the pain, my friends could be in danger," You growl, mostly to yourself as your fingers hook onto the cover and yank it off. You drop the cover and pull yourself up a bit to peer in. Something buzzes inside and you drop out, looking up as something silver flashes by.

"What's up?" Kid asks.
"I think something just tried to take off my head...." You answer, leaning down and slipping off a shoe.
"Careful," He huffs as you hesitantly peek your shoe in. It's yanked from your grip, and you squeak in surprise, falling off Kid's shoulders. "You okay!?" He asks in alarm. You shoot to your feet, pulling him back by his arm.
"It ate my shoe!" You gasp, hugging his arm subconsciously as you both look at the vent, hearing your shoe being shredded before it is spat onto the ground, barely noticeable as a shoe. "My shoe..." You pout. "That was almost me..." You whimper hiding your face in his arm. Kid blinks at the shredded shoe before reaching over and patting your head.
"You're okay... Your shoe just didn't make it is all..." He says, you lift your head and you both look at eachother, eyes locking. You both suddenly turn away from eachother.
"So, what now?" You ask, rubbing your cheeks since they were suddenly heated.
"I got nothing," He sighs. You glance toward the door.
"Maybe I can get it open..." You muse.
"How?" He asks.
"Well I did do this one crazy thing before... When Gin was injured during a gang war... But it also broke my arm..." You muse.
"Will you be able to do it without breaking your arm?" He questions. You look down at your hand, flexing it as you imagine your favorite person in an infirmary bed.
"I'm willing to risk it..." You whisper, drawing your arm back.
"___, wait!" Kid objects but your arm meeting with the door, there's a pulse and the door slowly falls away. Kid steps to your side, eyebrows raised in shock.
"Yes!! I did it!" You gasp, suddenly hugging him he chuckles and hugs you back.
"Damn ___! I thought you'd break your arm," He comments. There's a pause and your arm starts cry in pain.
"Ow! Owowowowowo- fuck!" You groan, pulling away and holding your arm.
"You broke it didn't you?" He guesses.
"No... Might have tore a few muscles though..." You breathe and suddenly straighten up. "Okay! Lets go!" You gasp, starting out. Kid shakes his head in amazement and falls in step with you.
"You're crazy," He huffs.
"Got us out didn't I?" You point out, nudging him. He smirks as you smile at him.
"Not bad," He comments. You both pause as your eyes lock and swiftly look away. "This doesn't look familiar," He says.
"Maybe it's some underground type thing," You muse, not seeing any windows. Kid stops, cursing under his breath.
"How the hell are we suppose to find a way out then?" He growls.
"Told you I heard something," A voice draws your attention ahead to the mustache guy and the girl you had used as a weapon.
"Maybe they'll tell us," You muse.
"After we beat it out of them that is," Kid agrees.

8 97El's Revenge
“Revenge is not for the dead- we, as the living, take revenge to relieve the burden we feel,” I whispered into the air. “Salvation for the people who suffered because of you,” I watched as the city burned in the flames. “Salvation for the people like me, who believed in the proclaimed heroes when in reality they were the devils.” I smiled faintly as the ‘holy land’ of those ‘saints’ was destroyed. I heard rustling sounds as Charlotte came to stand next to me, grabbing my hand. “El, are we the bad guys?” If I was still the same as I was before, I might’ve broken down and started crying. Now, it was different. “A villain is just another victim. They cry and mourn, it’s just that no one heard, leading them into madness. It’s one of the reasons why we know the most, but care the least.” I took a deep breath. “We may be the bad guys in other peoples’ eyes, but in my story, we’re the heroes.” Charlotte took in my words for a while and pondered, before nodding in agreement. “As children, we loved the heroes, as adults we understand the villains.” I looked at her and bonked her on the head, earning an angry glare from her. “Hey! You’re barely an adult yourself you know,” she grumbled. I laughed and ruffled her hair, before countering her. “At least I’m not 12. You can’t even be considered a teenager at that age.” After that, we silently watched the flames ravage the land, before leaving.
8 116The Present Series 5: If Only (COMPLETED)
A story of LOVE and FORGIVENESS.
8 208The Exodus Project
This is the original version of Origin before I rewrote it. It's much more simpler, some names and personalities are a little different. THere's nowhere near as much back story or character development/interaction. But the story is essentially at the end of book one. I wrote this 15 odd years ago, and with a bit of polish it doesn't look too bad. The story like Origin is about a group of college students who find a ship that is the last remnant of an ancient human space faring civilisation, they fix her up and go back into space. Along they way they'll meet alot of aliens, religious fundamentalists and conmen.
