《School of Madness~ One Piece x Reader (AU) [#Watty2015]》What The Hell!?

You shift uneasily, getting your suitcase ready. A hand patting your shoulder makes you look over to Law who offers a comforting smirk. "Once we get there, Mr. Gladius, an administrator will hand you both a paper with your room numbers. Read it, it will explain how this place works, and good luck.... Follow the rules," Doflamingo informs you both. You nod, and Law peers out as the limo slows. Doflamingo gets out and you give Law a nervous look. He pats your shoulder again before getting up and going out. You get out after him and the cool mountain air meets your lungs.
"Miss ___," A voice makes you look over to the spikey haired man in steampunk attire.
"Yes?" You ask warily. He holds out a piece of paper.
"Your guide," He says. You take it and follow Doflamingo. Law falls in step with you, frowning at the paper.
"Is this some sort of joke?" He murmurs. You raise an eyebrow and he leans to you, showing you what it said. Your jaw drops, reading over it too.
*Dear Student,
Welcome to Gold Academy!
You've been placed here to be taught a lesson. If youre going to be bad, dont get caught!
"What the hell?" You mutter, skimming over the nonsense before reaching the bottom.
*Now for the rules and guidelines!!
1.) The curfew is 7:00 pm. (If you're going to be a dirty birdy, don't get caught!)
2.) If you fight, don't go overboard! (Paperwork is a pain, so don't kill! )
3.) Survive!
Good luck during your time here! And remember! Dont die!
Trafalgar D. Law room: A132 **
"What the hell are we about to step into?" You mutter as you both look up at the fortress.

"I have no idea.... What's your room number?" He asks. You check your paper.
"C666," You answer. He nods, taking out a pen and writing it on his wrist.
"Let me see your hand, this will be a precaution," He tells you. You lift an eyebrow and hold out your hand. He scribbles his room on your wrist. "Be careful, if you need anything you can come find me," He murmurs. You blink at him in surprise.
"Really? That's really.... Nice of you..." You comment with a slight blush. He smirks at you.
"What can I say? You seem trusting, we should stick together." He says. You give a nod and you both look ahead as the large gates are opened. You move closer to him, feeling uneasy. He glances at you and discreetly takes your hand. You share a glance and he gives it a squeeze.
"Thanks..." You breathe, giving a smile. He smirks again and releases your hand.
"You don't belong here... Do you?" He guesses quietly.
"Little too late to be thinking about that," You muse. He turns his face to you, surprise flashing in his silver eyes. "I'm foolishly good friend to have."
"Alright you two! On the backs of your papers is a map and meal schedule! I don't care if you eat as long as you don't starve yourself to death!..... Oh and have fun!" Doflamingo laughs, leaving you both in the empty courtyard. You look around.
"Is it just me or does this empty courtyard seem ominous to you?" You mutter. He nods as he looks around.
"Where are all the students?" He agrees. A tremor and an explosion draw your gaze to a building higher up the fortress. The gaping hole let the sounds from inside escape. It sounded like chaos. "Still think it's too late?"
"I really hope not...."

Getting Hard (Journey of a Tank)
Herald Stone always built tank characters in every MMORPG he played. To be immortal—that was his first Goal, a simple childhood dream. However, the turbulent realities of life put an end to his gaming days. Years passed, and Herald Stone, now having attained success and stability, was presented with the opportunity to redeem himself...to fulfill his first Goal. Trivial? Childish? Others might think so. But Herald Stone always fulfilled his Goals—every single one. No matter what. Immortality beckoned in Mother Core Online, and this time Herald Stone would answer. Choosing a long-forgotten race, hidden away in an unknown region, the journey of an immortal tank begins. This is the tale of Herald Stone...getting hard. Schedule: Mon-Wed-Fri ~1.8k-2.3k words per chapter. Also published on Scribblehub. My other ongoing story: REND | Royal Road Expect a focus on building a true tank in MMORPGs. Heavy game elements and numbers are present. But actual math will take a backseat to strategies involving skill builds and synergies that steadily become more complex while remaining understandable. The main character is atypical in LitRPGs or web novels as a whole. He might take some getting used to. Character arcs will develop over a long period. What you see now will be different as the main character changes. The start of Getting Hard is slow-paced (more so than others of the genre) and includes world-building and character development before focusing on the LitRPG.
