Arc Three: VTV
You walk into the conference room and look around. Every hero in Japan is there once again....except Koa. You stare at the familiar faces; the last time you saw them, your brother was lowered into the ground. You sit down and take a deep breath. Aizawa sits next to you, quickly holding your hand. Griffin walks in, and your eyes widen.
"Shouldn't you be resting?" You ask, nodding to her arm.
"Nope!" She shrugs and sits next to you.
She picks up Keigo's feather from around her neck, and you glare at her. She lets it go, grumbling under her breath. Keigo walks in and sits at the other end of the table, away from all of you, his eyes glancing at Aizawa. Slowly the rest of the heroes and vigilantes walk in. Bakugou, Denki, Izuku and Shoto walk in, still talking to Rock Lock.
"I think that's a great idea, Izuku," Rock Lock nods.
They all sit down, and FatGum stands up. "Now that we are all here let's get started. We need to formulate teams to find and attack Maltheal. We also want to make sure any hero or vigilante with a quirk that can incapacitate him is protected at all times. No more taking unnecessary risks. If anyone has any ideas, please feel free to share. No idea is stupid, so don't be shy," He smiles.
"Of course, there are stupid ideas," Endeavor grumbles as he walks in. "And I don't remember that you were leading this meeting, FatGum," he snaps.
"Well, someone has to be a leader," FatGum smiles.
"Yeah...and I'd prefer a leader who didn't get heroes killed," Griffin smiles.
"I'm sorry, did I ask what you wanted, X2435?" Endeavor tilts his head. Your fists clench, and you stare at Endeavor. Keigo shifts in his seat, cracking his neck.
"It should have been you. It should have been you instead of Koa," Shoto says. Endeavor's head snaps to his son.

"Look, let's get this fucking over with," Griffin sighs as she stands up. "Yes. I am not a real hybrid. I was experimented on when I was a child. It is what it is. It happened, and I can't change that...but I'll be damned if it happened to another fucking kid. Now...I am not too fond of talking about this, so this will be the only time I do. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, you can shove them up Endeavors ass," Griffin smiles.
Endeavor steps forward, his eyes burning as he stares at Griffin. "Sit down, Enji," a calm voice says. His head snaps to the doorway, and his face goes pale. Griffin smiles a little, and you stand up.
Standing in the doorway is a tall woman with beautiful, dark brown skin. Her hair is snow white with a slight wave, fading into blue braids wrapped into two space buns. She has bright red eyes that pop against her glowing skin. She has a few freckles on her face and three small scratches on her cheek. Her costume is a skin-tight bodysuit of red and white, showing off her thick and curve shape, her tummy puffing out a little. She has on thick black boots and a choker with a heart dangling from it.
"I said...Sit. Down," she repeats, her voice still calm and clear.
Without another word, he sits down, staring at her, a mix of fear and awe painted on his face. She walks in and looks at you. "Hi..." she says softly.
"Hi...I'm glad you came," you say, staring at your friend.
"Of course. You called, didn't you?" She smiles.
"HI!" Griffin shouts.
The woman chuckles a little. "Hey Griff...long time no see," she smiles.
"I'm sorry to interrupt...but...who are you?" FatGum asks, his cheeks slightly pink as he stares at her.
"Everyone...this is Via The Vigilante...she has come to help us stop Maltheal," you smile at your friend.

She walks over to Endeavor, and he looks up at her. "You're in the wrong seat, Enji," she says. Her tone is calm, a small smile spreading across her face. "I believe FatGum, was it? I think he was leading this meeting? Or am I mistaken?" She asks, glancing at FatGum; his whole face is bright red.
Endeavor stands and walks over to where FatGum is sitting. FatGum walks to the front and sits in the head chair as Endeavor takes his seat. "There...that's better. Now, I think it's in our best interest to get this going so I can get caught up...any objections?" She asks. The room is dead silent.
"I didn't think there would be. FatGum, the floor is yours," she smiles and walks next to Griffin, sitting down.
Griffin giggles a little and picks up Keigo's feather once again. His eyes widen as he stares at Griffin. "Griff..." Via whispers. Griffin glances at her and drops the feather. She grumbles again and crosses her arms. Via takes out a small chew ring. "Canines?" She asks.
"Yeah...they are getting sharper," Griffin mumbles. Via nods and hands her the ring. Griffin takes it and starts to chew on it happily.
"You came prepared," you whisper.
"Don't I always?" Via smiles.
Everyone goes around the table, sharing ideas and getting a plan together. "Once we get the results back, things will go faster," FatGum smiles.
"I really think we can take him down quickly," Rock Lock states.
"Me too," you smile a little. Aizawa glances at you. His chest flutters. This was the first time you actually looked hopeful. He glances at Via and smiles. The meeting finishes, and the room clears out, leaving you, Griffin, and Via alone.
"So...I go away for a little, and I come back to you having kids and a fiancé. And you have a crush on another bird? And can we stop with the hero names? It's just us," Via asks.
"I don't have a crush on anyone!" Griffin snaps.
"Nhalia...thank you for coming," you say, looking at Via.
"Of course. I wasn't going to say no...why didn't you call me sooner?" She asks.
"Because I was worried you hated me," you say, looking down.
"That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard come out of your mouth. Y/N, I could never hate you. I'm so proud of you. Just because we went down different paths doesn't mean you aren't my sisters anymore...though I'm the only one wearing the necklace," she mumbles.
"Hey, I have mine!" Griffin says, pulling down her high collar and showing the heart choker.
"And I have mine," you smile, showing yours.
"Well, then can we stop being all fucking weird?" She laughs. You hug her tightly and smile. "I should have been here earlier...I'm sorry," she whispers.
"It's ok...you came...thank you," you smile.
"Yeah...plus it's nice to see Endeavor is still afraid of you," Griffin giggles.
"He should be...." Nhalia scoffs.
"Did you see Shoto?" You ask.
"He's gotten bigger...he was really little when I last saw him," Nhalia smiles. "He didn't recognize me."
"It's hard to when you look different...besides the hair," you smile.
"Have you....have you gone to the hospital?" Nhalia asks.
"No, but Shoto goes. You should go...he'd want to see you," you smile.
"I don't think he would..." she mumbles.
"Yeah, he would. I know he's probably missed you," you smile.
"Yeah, yeah, everyone misses everyone. Can we get food? I'm starving," Arlis sighs.
"Is all you do eat, sleep and chew on shit?" Nhalia asks.
"And kick-ass...you forgot my favorite thing to do...speaking of ass-kicking, you gonna give Enji another one?" Arils giggles.
"If he steps out of line... I might."

Tales of Ordinary, Completely Unremarkable Contractors
"Where life had no value, death, sometimes, had its price. That is why the mercenaries appeared." - Artur Xerxes, in A Century of Disappointment: Memoirs of a Travelling Dwarf It's never too difficult to land contracts for a set very specialised skills in a continent teeming with werewolves, vampires, giant leopards, undead and, god forbid, elves. The difficulty comes when these contractors find themselves suffocated in the dense atmosphere of this world's rigid - and mostly unfair - rules; death, suffering and misfortune await those unwilling to sacrifice to bend these in their favour. In this non-linear plot, you will observe a scarred and deformed farm girl cashing her first bounty posters, a seemingly ordinary barmaid at a tavern in the bustling centre of a sprawling, corrupt city and an enigmatic leader of a firm specialising in dealings any other would consider suicidal. Watch them all take everything to the next level at every available opportunity, and then feel dread at the thought that this still might not be enough to halt the physical embodiment of doom about to do what it does best Please, feel free to review and comment! Any sort of feedback can help me become a better writer and write more engaging stories for you. I used to update once every 3-5 days, but this rewrite is taking much too long...I do hope it will be worth it.
