You hated being right. Endeavor had put out a notice to all Heroes and Vigilantes in the area to come down for a meeting. Maltheal had sent Aizawa some cryptic message which hinted at six different parts of the city, all miles and miles away from each other. He was setting a trap for Aizawa, and you had easily figured it out.

You walk into Endeavors Agency and head into the conference room. Every Hero and Vigilante in the city and surrounding areas are there. They are all sitting around and waiting for the meeting to start. You and Aizawa sit down, and you look around. Rumi and Hizashi walk in and sit next to you and Shota.

"We late?" Hizashi asks.

"No...we haven't started," Aizawa sighs. Hawks walks in and sits next to you, smiling at you a little.

"Why do you all look so nervous?" A sweet voice asks.

You look up, and your eyes widen. A woman is standing in the door frame. She has on a black bodysuit with purple stitching all over it, showing off her thick and curvy figure. Her hair is half pink and half purple, hanging in soft curls. She has one pink and one purple cat ear and beautiful pink and purple wings. Her tail swishes back and forth as she looks around the room. She smiles, and you stand up. You run over and hug her tightly.

"You came," you whisper.

"Of course..." she giggles as you both hug. Hawks stares at her, his cheeks flushing pink, and Aizawa chuckles.

"You alright, Hawks?" Aizawa whisper.

"Yup..." Hawks mumbles.

You take her hand and walk over. "Everyone, this is Griffin! She is a vigilante. We've known each other since I got started," you smile happily. She waves a little, and everyone waves back. "You can sit next to Hawks," you smile, and she nods.

She sits down and glances at him. "I like your wings, birdie," she smiles sweetly.

His face is bright red. "Thanks..." he mumbles and looks down.

"Relax...I'm only half-cat...I won't eat ya," she giggles. His face turns bright red, and she winks at him.

You laugh a little. "Griff, be nice," you chuckle. You look over and smile at Aizawa. "You gonna fall for her too?" You whisper.

"What do you mean?" He asks.

"Cat ears..." you giggle. Aizawa's cheeks flush as images of you in cat ears flash in his head.

"I only have one Kitty," he whispers.

"I haven't seen you around, Griffin. Where have you been?" Rumi smiles.

"America! I hated it, so I came home," Griffin giggles.

"Glad you're home, honey," Rumi smiles.

"Alright...let's get started," Endeavor says, walking in. Koa walks in and sits next to Griffin.

"Nice to see you...Predictor," Griffin smirks. Koa looks at her, and his eyes widen. "Griffin?" He chuckles and kisses her cheek. "We've missed you," he smiles.

"I missed you too," she smiles.

"Now, we know that Malthael will be coming after Eri. We will have six teams total. The first two will be the line of defense, and the second will be the next one up," Endeavor says. "We have one hero that will be a priority to protect, Eraserhead. If we can get Eraserhead close enough, he can eraser Malthael's quirk, and we can take him down. We have two places we think he will strike first...." Endeavor says.

"Wait!!" A voice shouts from outside. Denki, Shoto, Deku, and Bakugou run into the room, panting heavily.

"What the hell are you all doing here?" Endeavor asks.

"He...won't...hang on," Denki pants. "Woo....ran a little too fast," he huffs. "Sorry....he won't go after Eraserhead..." Denki says.

"What? Of course, he will," Endeavor says.

"No, he won't. You only figured out a part of the riddle...I figured out the rest...He doesn't want to go after Eraserhead...He wants to go after Predictor," Denki says.

"What? How?" Koa asks.

"If he knew Mind's and Eraserhead's first names, he probably knows their relationship with Predictor, and he most likely knows your quirks," Denki says.

"This is ridiculous," Endeavor growls.

"Let them speak," Hawks snaps.

"Predictor, you can read anyone's mind as long as you get a good look at their face, right?" Denki asks.

"Yeah..." Koa says.

"Then you are the target. If you take off his mask, you can see everything he has planned. Right now, he has the element of surprise on his side. If he loses that, he's fucked," Denki says.

"Oh my god," you say, looking at Koa.

"If he takes out Predictor, he will keep the element of surprise, and he can use that to his advantage," Denki says. "He wouldn't go after Eraserhead... At least not yet."

"We think figured out his quirk too," Deku says.

He grabs his notebook and walks over to the scanner. Deku scans the page, and it pops up on the screen. "From how Mind described him and what she saw, we think his quirk is kinda like a weird version of Telekinesis," Deku says.

"What the hell is that?" Aizawa asks.

"Well, usually, if someone is telekinetic, they can just move things with their mind. But, when Mind saw him in Overhaul's head, she said he had moved his arms to move the rubble out of the way. What if he can't just use his mind? What if he has to use his hands to guide it? If we can bind his arms, then we can take him out," Deku says. "Plus, if you look at his outfit...it matches Predictor and Minds... the scythe is Mind's staff, and the mask is for Predictor," Deku says.

"It also helps with the theory that he wears it to stop Predictor from knowing what he looks like," Denki says.

"This is insane. We are not going to listen to a bunch of children!" Endeavor snaps.

"Look, I know it's crazy, but I'd listen to them. I made the mistake of underestimating these kids before, and they ended up saving my life," Rock Lock says quickly.

"That's absurd. You want us to change our entire plan based on a hunch from some kids?" Endeavor snaps. He looks over at Denki. "Aren't you the kid who fries his brain every time you use your quirk?" Endeavor scoffs.

"And yet, he is a better hero than you," Aizawa snaps. Endeavors eyes widen, and he stands up straight.

"Charge Bolt is one of the smartest kids at U.A.," All Might says.

Aizawa stands up. "Deku...Charge Bolt...how sure are you?" He asks.

Denki looks at him. "I'd bet my life on it, sir," Denki says sternly.

"Deku?" Aizawa asks.

"Same," Deku nods.

"I think we should listen to them," Aizawa says.

"What the hell? Why is he so obsessed with Mind and Predictor?" Griffin asks.

"It's not obsession...it's a tribute," Deku says.

"What?" You say confused.

"He isn't obsessed with you both...he is paying tribute to you both. My costume is a tribute to All Might...and I think his is a tribute to both of yours," Deku says.

"So he's a fan?" Predictor asks.

"No...no, I don't think he is a fan...fuck, if we can just see his face...." Denki says, annoyed.

"ENOUGH! We aren't going to entertain this idea any longer!" Endeavor snaps.

"We aren't going to put Predictor in danger because you are too stubborn to fucking listen to them!" You shout.

"Mind's right. We should listen to them, Endeavor," Hawks says.

"I am the team leader. What I say goes, and I say we aren't listening to fucking kids," Endeavor says.

"I don't think you are a very good team leader. I think we should listen to...Charge Bolt, was it? He seems like he knows what he's talking about, and my gut is telling me he's right," Griffin says.

"First of all, we aren't listening to you of all people, Griffin. You are here on a very short leash from the commission, and we aren't considering your opinion. We know what kind of person you are, Griffin...don't forget your place," Endeavor growls.

Hawks stands up, his face filled with rage. "Watch your mouth, Enji," Hawks snaps.

"It's alright, birdie. I just find it funny that match head over there doesn't wanna listen to the future generation of Pros but has no fucking problem using them to fight...you'll let them die, but you won't let them speak...pretty typical of the hero commission's bitch," Griffin smirks.

"Excuse me!?" Endeavor snaps.

"Did I fucking stutter?! Want me to say it louder, you stupid fuck!?" Griffin growls.

Enji's face is fuming with anger, and he stares at Griffin. "You will watch your fucking mouth when you speak to me, you damn mutt."

"WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY?" Hawks shouts.

"That's not very Plus Ultra of you, Enji," Griffin sighs.

"You stupid son of a bitch! People could die because of you!" Shoto says angrily.

Bakugou scoffs. "You're an idiot...number one hero, my ass," he mumbles.

"And you are all fucking children! Get out!!" Endeavor snarls.

"Endeavor..." All Might says softly.

"It's fine...." Koa says.

"Predictor," you say softly.

"Really...It's fine. I'll be ok. We should protect a more seasoned hero like Eraser. I think Charge Bolt and Deku are right...but, if team leader douche bag says no, then there is no point in fighting it," Koa says softly.

Denki looks at him. "But..."

"It's settled then," Endeavor says. "We will go with the plan in place. Get in your teams and head out." He walks out in a huff, and Denki shakes his head as he looks around the room.

"Please...please, you need to listen to us...I know I'm not that smart, but I know I'm right about this...." Denki says softly.

Your eyes widen. You take off your goggles and mask and walk over to him, hugging him tightly. "Denki, you are so smart. You are one of the most brilliant kids I've met...I believe you...and I know you are right," you say softly.

"I...I don't want anyone to die," he says softly.

"We will stick with Predictor," A few heroes stand up. Denki looks over. "Everything you kids said made sense. And if Rock Lock, Mind, Eraser, and All Might say we shouldn't underestimate you...then we won't," one says sternly. Denki smiles at them a little.

"Thank you," Denki nods.

"Griffin is right...we should be listening to the future Pros," One smiles.

Everyone starts to leave, and you hug Koa tightly. "Please, stay safe," you whisper.

"I will...promise," he says, squeezing you.

"I still need you to walk me down the aisle," you smile.

He smiles. "I'll meet you back here," he smiles. He kisses your head and heads out with his team.

Hawks looks over at Griffin and clears his throat. "I guess we are the sky team," he says, smiling a little.

"Guess so," she smiles. They walk outside and take off into the sky. "Hey, umm...thanks for standing up for me back there. I didn't think someone like you would," she says softly.

"Someone like me? What, just cause I'm not a real hybrid?" Hawks looks at her, smirking a little.

"No, stupid. I just didn't think the number two Pro would stand up for a vigilante. It's a little weird..." she chuckles.

"You were making good points...no matter who I work for, I will always stand on the side of reason," Hawks says.

"Well, I'm glad to have you on our side...but, umm, I've got to say, you aren't what I expected," she smirks.

"Oh? And, what did you expect?" He chuckles a little.

"Oh, someone like match head...stern, stubborn and stupid. But you...well, never mind," she sighs. She flies ahead of him a little, and Hawks quickly speeds up.

"Say it. I can take it," he says. She stops and hovers in the air.

"You are a bird in a small cage...and you stay there willingly. Why stay in a cage when you can be free?" She asks.

"The cage isn't all that bad," he says sarcastically.

"I'm serious. If you die today, they would already be working on moving the ranks so someone new can take your place...they wouldn't care...but if you were free...you could surround yourself with people who would care," She says, staring at him.

"People like you?" He smirks.

"Yeah. People like me," she smiles.

His eyes widen, and his cheeks flush. He quickly clears his throat. "So...what exactly is your quirk?" He asks as they float amongst the clouds.

"Literally my hero name. I can do everything a Griffin can," she giggles.

"So, cat-like reflexes and super strength?" He smiles.

"Yup!" She giggles. She spreads her wings and flies upside down.

Hawks stares at her wings in awe. They are all different shades of pink and purple. "Your wings are beautiful," Hawks says softly.

"Thanks...so are yours," she smiles. "By the way...seeing as that we may die together...my real name is Arlis...I, Ummm...I don't want to die without someone knowing," she smiles.

His chest flutters. "Arlis...that's a beautiful name....doesn't that mean promise?" He smiles.

"Yeah...so promise me you won't die on me," she giggles.

He chuckles a little. He glances at her and bites the inside of his cheek, thinking a little. "My name is Keigo...Keigo Takami," he smiles.

She looks over at him and smiles a little. "Nice to meet you, Keigo."

You and Aizawa run through the evacuated city block with the rest of the heroes. "Where the hell is he?" You ask, looking around. You all stand there for two hours, and nothing happens.

"What the hell?" Aizawa says. Your stomach drops.

"Oh god...Denki was right...you never were the target," your voice cracks.

"We need to get back to the agency now!!" Aizawa shouts. You all sprint back to the Agency and run inside. "Radio the other teams! Tell them it's Predictor! He's the target!!" Aizawa shouts.

Everyone scrambles to notify the teams. "The radios are dead...he knocked out the communications," Rock Lock says.

Your eyes widen. "We need to go after them!" You say panicked.

"They are on the other side of the fucking city! There is no way we can make it!" Rock Lock says worriedly.

Hawks flies in with Griffin. "What the fuck happened?" Hawks says.

"Yeah, our radio is dead," Griffin says.

"Arlis, he's going after Koa!" You say worried.

She sprints out and takes off. Hawks follows her quickly. You stare at the door, clutching your radio. The room falls dead silent.

Three hours go by, and you haven't moved. Your legs are tired from standing so rigidly. Shinso and Shoto run in and see you and Aizawa.

"What happened!? Where is everyone else?!" Shinso says.

"We don't know...we lost communication with everyone," Aizawa says softly. Deku, Denki, Sero and Bakugou run inside. "Where is Eri?" Aizawa asks.

"On lockdown with the rest of the class," Bakugou says.

Endeavor walks in with a few heroes and looks around. "Your team didn't get attacked either?" He asks, his eyes widening. Hawks and Griffin land outside. Griffin drops to her knees, sobbing. Hawks runs inside.

"Where is everyone?" Endeavor asks.

"...He attacked the two other teams...everyone was rushed to the hospital...we lost half of one team...." Hawks says softly.

Your breath hitches in your throat. "Koa?" You ask softly.

Keigo looks down. "I'm so sorry..." he says as tears fall from his eyes.

You scream, and Aizawa holds you as you sink to the floor. You sob into his chest as you hyperventilate, your voice cracking as you wail.

"Hitoshi..." Aizawa's voice cracks.

Hitoshi walks over and cups your face. "Mom," he chokes on a sob as tears run down his face.

"Why-" you stop talking, and your face goes blank. Your head feels warm and hazy, and your body relaxes. Shinso's body shakes as he stares at you, holding his concentration.

"Go to sleep," Hitoshi commands.

Your eyes close, and Aizawa catches your limp body, holding you close. Hitoshi stares at you and puts his head in his hands as he sobs. Aizawa pulls him close and hugs the two of you.

Hawks turns around, and Griffin takes off into the sky. He runs out and follows her.

Shoto walks up and punches Endeavor, square in the face. "You fucker!! Koa is dead because of you! Heroes were killed because you didn't fucking listen to my friends!! You don't deserve to be called a hero! I fucking hate you!!" Shoto screams.

Deku walks up and grabs Shoto, pulling him away. Aizawa stands up and picks you up. Hitoshi follows him as he walks out the door.

"Where are you going?" Endeavor asks.

"My fiancé just lost her brother, I just lost my brother-in-law, and my children have lost their uncle...we are going home to grieve...and if I don't leave now, I'm going to do something I may regret," Aizawa snaps. More heroes follow you all out, each of them glaring at Endeavor.

Bakugou wraps his arm around Denki's shoulder as he softly cries. "You tried...Koa believed you, Denki...You did everything you could," Bakugou whispers. Denki nods a little, and they keep walking. Denki walks out, Sero quickly taking him into his arms as he sobs, and Bakugou stops when he sees Endeavor reaching for them.

"You touch my friend, and I'll blow your ass up...you aren't a fucking hero...a real hero would listen to his friends. A real hero believes in fucking teamwork! My friends had the fucking courage to try to help, and you didn't listen...you're a fucking joke," Bakugou snaps. He turns and stops.

"I can't wait for the day Deku and I replace you as number one...I can't wait for the day that the only Hero in the Todoroki family is Shoto....because that means you will have been fucking dead for a while," Bakugou growls and walks out.

Arlis floats in the sky as she sobs in her hands. Hawks flies next to her and makes a platform of his feathers. He sits her down and holds her. "Koa and Y/N are the only family I have...My...my family didn't want me...they were the only ones who did," she whimpers softly.

"They aren't the only ones anymore," he whispers. He holds her tightly as she cries into his chest, mourning her friend.

Hizashi and Rumi follow you all back to U.A. Hizashi walks into the dorms, and everyone rushes them. Rumi picks Eri up and walks out without a word.

"What happened?" Momo asks, panic filling her voice.

"We...the plan didn't work. We lost a few heroes today...we...one of them was Koa..." Hizashi says.

"No..." Mina covers her mouth.

"Y/N..." Momo says.

"Aizawa and Hitoshi have her...she will be ok...you are all to stay on lockdown for the rest of the week," Hizashi says. They all nod, and he walks out. He walks towards the staff apartments and freezes.

"Hizashi! What's going on?! Why the hell is no one answering their phones!?" Midnight asks.

"Nemuri...." Hizashi says softly.

Her eyes widen. "Who...who did we lose?" Her voice cracks. "Shota? Y/N?" She says softly. Hizashi shakes his head.

"No...no, not him...Hiz...please," she says, shaking her head.

"I'm so sorry, Nemuri," Hizashi whispers.

"No! No, please! Please, we didn't have enough time!!" She sobs. He quickly hugs her as she cries.

"Please...please...Not Koa."
