《Location; Aizawa x Reader》Chapter 41

You had thought once things were settled, things would go back to normal, but they didn't. Every night, you would tuck Eri in by yourself, walk back to your empty apartment, shower and go to bed. Shota was god knows where doing god knows what. He'd come home at two or three in the morning, shower, and slip into bed with you. He used to place gentle kisses on your head, soft apologies spilling from his lips, but now, he rolled over, his back to you, as he drifted off to sleep. You knew he wanted to find the people responsible, but this was becoming obsessive. You were alone most of the time now when you weren't with Eri and Hitoshi.
It had gotten so bad, Hizashi and you had to step in to cover for him in class while he slept off his late-night antics. You sat in the kitchen, your arms crossed and your foot tapping on the floor. He walked out of the bedroom, his black sweatpants hanging low on his hips. He tied his hair back and walked over to the kitchen. He stopped and looked at you, instantly catching the look on your face.
"I'm sorry I came home late last night...I'll try to be home early tonight," he says softly.
"That won't be an issue because you aren't going out tonight," you say through gritted teeth.
"Babe,"
"Don't fucking babe me. I've been taking care of Eri and Hitoshi for a month by myself now. We are a team, Shota, and right now, it feels like my teammate is sitting on the bench," you say as you stand up.
"Y/N,"
"I'm not done. Look, I'm more than capable of taking care of them, but they miss you...I miss you. I never see you anymore. This has taken over your whole head..." you say softly.
He sighs a little. "I know...but I'm close...I just need more time," he says.
You scoff. "You aren't even listening to me. What part of your children miss you do you not get?" You say, staring at him.
"Look, I know this has taken up a lot of my time, but I promise, I'm close. I need you to hang in for a little longer. I just need to catch these fuckers, and then everything will be better," he says softly.
"A little longer was a month ago. You are missing my point. Hitoshi needs you to be present. Eri needs you to be present. I need you to be present," you snap. You start to walk away, and he grabs your arm.
"Kitty,"
"Don't you fucking dare. You don't get to call me that...not now. You don't think I see the cuts on your chest and back? You think I don't see the rage in your eyes? Shota, you told me I needed to come home to you every night, and you aren't giving me the same courtesy. I don't know where you go or what the hell you do, and frankly, I think knowing would just make me worry more...you need to be home with us," you say.

He lets go of your arm and stares at you. You walk out of the apartment, heading to get Eri ready for bed. He sighs and rubs his face. He walks into the bedroom and gets dressed. He grabs his scarf and his cell and glances at the family picture of all of you on his nightstand. He needed to do this...he needed to find them...then things would get better.
He stood in an alley glancing at people walking by. It was almost midnight now, and so far, the tip he got wasn't pulling through.
"Keeping busy, eraser?" A smooth voice says from behind him. He sighs and turns around, seeing Hawks standing with his arms crossed over his chest.
"Yeah, I am. What are you doing here?" Aizawa says, annoyed.
"I'm here to tell you to go home," Hawks says.
"Y/N send you?" He asks, raising an eyebrow.
"No. Hizashi did. Tell me, are you stupid or just an ass hole?" Hawks sighs.
"What?" Aizawa says.
"Look, I know you want to find these guys, but this isn't how you go about doing it," Hawks says. "You are pushing your family away because of this. Hitoshi is doing better in school, and Eri is maintaining great control of her quirk. Y/N has finals coming up, and then she graduates with her degree...you'd know all of that if you were home every once in a while. Hizashi told me that you missed Eri's dance recital the other day. You are missing a lot of important things..." Hawks says.
"Look, just go. I'm close to getting these fuckers, and everything will be fine. Maybe stop worrying about my family and focus on your fucking job," Aizawa growls.
"Look, Eraser,"
"No, you look. I've got shit to do. Enjoy your night, Hawks," Aizawa snaps and walks away. Hawks sighs and takes his phone out to text Hizashi.
A few more weeks go by, and things only get worse. You were juggling working part-time at the cafe, finals, U.A. work, and taking care of the kids. You had become full momzawa. You were helping the kids with training, homework, and anything else they needed. Hitoshi had successfully transferred into the hero course of class 1-A and moved into their dorms. Eri was devastated her big brother would no longer be a door away, so Nezu had her move into the class 1-A dorms as well. You were juggling like crazy, but so far, you were kicking ass.
That is until Eri had gotten sick with a horrible case of the flu, leaving all of class 1-A bedridden. Recovery Girl came and did what she could, but most of them had horrible fevers that wouldn't break. You spent the whole day taking care of the sick students and Eri instead of studying for finals. It was eight o'clock, and Eri's fever still hadn't broken. She was completely miserable, and you were exhausted. You stepped out of her room and held your head, trying to take deep breaths. You pulled your phone out and called Shota.

"Please...please pick up...." It rang and rang before going to voicemail. "Fuck," you said, your heart pounding in your chest. You called Hizashi, and his phone went straight to voicemail. You felt your hands shake with frustration. You needed help. You needed a break. You felt tears prick your eyes as you dialed the only other person you trusted.
"Hello?"
"Keigo? Can...can you help me?" You sniffled.
Within thirty minutes, Keigo was knocking on the class 1-A dorms. You ran down and opened the door. He smiled warmly and walked inside.
"Ok! I got tissues, a shit ton of soup, meds, cleaning supplies, and snacks," he smiles.
"Thank you," you smile.
He walks to the kitchen and sets everything down. One by one, you go to the student's rooms, setting them up for the rest of the night with tissues, medicine, and food if they need it. You feed Eri some soup and give her some medicine. After about an hour, her fever breaks, and you quietly step out of the room, closing the door as she sleeps. You walked out to the main room, and your eyes widen.
Keigo's feathers zoomed around the dorm, cleaning everything with disinfectant and organizing the dorm space. He stood in the kitchen, restocking everything and putting the rest of the snacks he got for the kids away. He turned around smiling, but the smile fell from his face when he saw you. You looked exhausted, overwhelmed, and ready to snap. Tears prick your eyes, and you cover your mouth, muffling a sob.
"Hey..." he said, walking over to you. You burst into tears, and he grabs you, pulling you to his chest.
"What am I doing wrong, Keigo?" You sob.
"Nothing. You aren't doing anything wrong. You are doing an amazing job. You're the best momzawa these kids could ask for," he whispers.
"Then why isn't he here?" You sniffle.
He sighs and strokes your back. "Because he is trying really hard to fix something...and to make something right again...he...he will be done soon," Keigo whispers. "Let's get you home," he says softly.
He walks you to your apartment, and you step inside. Your entire body feels hot, and you feel dizzy. Keigo looks at you and lifts your chin. "Oh fuck, kid...I think you may have gotten sick," he says softly.
"No...no, I need to study," you say softly.
"No, you need sleep," he says, annoyed.
"I...I have a test in two days," you say softly.
"You can't take a test if you are bedridden with whatever the fuck the kids have," he says.
Your eyes flutter a little, and he sighs. He picks you up and walks you into the bedroom. He sits you on the bed and kneels, taking off your shoes. He walks to your bathroom and grabs some medicine.
"Here...drink," he says, handing you the small cup. You gulp it down and hand it back to him. Your head is throbbing, and you feel like you are freezing. He sets the cup down and lays you in bed, covering you with the comforter.
"He's gonna leave me, Keigo..." you mumble.
He looks at you and shakes his head. "No, he isn't," he says.
"Yes, he is...he'll leave me...he's pushing me away again...and then he'll leave," you say sadly.
He kneels and strokes your cheek softly. "Aizawa is madly in love with you...he will never leave you. He loves you, Eri, and Hitoshi more than anything...he's just acting like a fucking idiot right now..." he sighs.
"You're a good friend, Kei," you say as you fall asleep. He sighs and looks at you. He stands up and starts to walk out of the room when his cell chimes. He pulls it out and looks at the text message.
Hawks sighs and runs his fingers through his hair. He walks over to the chair in the corner of the room and glances at you, fast asleep. He sighs and sends a feather over to the door and the window to sense when someone comes in. He sits down and folds his arms over his chest. He leans his head back and slowly falls asleep.
His eyes flutter open, and he groans a little. He looks down and sees a soft blanket wrapped over him. "You want coffee?" You ask softly.
His head snaps to you, and he yawns. "How the fuck did you get past the feather?" He smirks.
"Not that hard if you know how they work," you shrug.
"How are you feeling?" He asks.
"Better...Actually sleeping through the entire night works wonders," you smile a little. "Thank you for staying with me, Keigo," you smile.
"Anytime, kid...I've got to get going. I've got a meeting, and I'd like to shower beforehand," he smiles.
You nod, and he stands up, taking his feathers back into his wings. You hug him tightly and kiss his cheek softly. "Everything will be ok," he whispers.
You nod a little and smile. He heads out, and you head to the bathroom to shower. He walks out of the apartment, locking the door behind him. He turns around and freezes, seeing Aizawa standing in the hall. Aizawa's eyes widen when he sees Hawks, his face filling with anger. Hawks blinks a few times as he stares at Aizawa.
"Oh fuck..."

8 86Descendants of Cosmia
Reefa, Wellor, Rozo and Auri are four teenagers trying to get through life living in a village surrounded by the barren sands of the Hariq Desert; a village isolated from the walls of the 9 Monarchs of Cosmia. The world that lies beyond the walls involves the social segregation between humans and Haaras. Haaras are people with the ability to control elements of water, air and earth, whilst humans cannot obtain this power at all. Reefa had always thought of herself to be a human with no type of elemental wielding. However, after many reoccurences throughout her childhood in which she hears the voices of people that speak in the future, she has doubts about who she really is inside. The same phenomenon happens when she is 15 years-old, but this time the voices she hears alerts her of a future attack that will happen to the people of her village. When the time had come, Reefa and her friends escape their predicament and travel to the east towards the land of dragons known as Tetranazia. Bearing in mind the last words her aunt told her with a heavy heart, she must protect her friends from the dangers ahead and venture into the walls to search for the answers of the attack. This is an original English light novel (OELN). There will be several visuals of characters and world-building as you read this novel. The story's genre is mainly Shonen-influenced Josei and Fantasy. Do note that the story is slow-paced in development, so it might not be to your liking. I'll be updating 2 new chapters every month on the 25th (SGT).(I'm doing it monthly because I have to consider the pile of college workload I have (;_;) and I'll need extra time on drawing the illustrations) Occasionally, I'll do Bonus Releases, where I release more than 2 chapter in the next monthly update Feel free to give me feedback on my story. I will very much appreciate it! (ノ´∀`) I created this story on Scribble Hub, so you can also check it out over at their platform.
