《Pottorff's Sister // DISCONTINUED》Chapter 11

It's been two weeks since Kian cheated. He calls me nearly every day and leaves a voicemail, and always texts me good morning and goodnight. He told me that he didn't mean what he did, and I convinced Sam to not beat his ass.
School has been difficult because he always tries to contact me, and I just can't. I don't know what I'm going to do. He made me feel so rebellious and happy, and I really only got with him to piss off Sam. Sam is beyond pissed at him, he threated to kill him and me if I ever went near him. Maybe that will be the fuel to get me to see him, and understand his side of the story.
I decide that that will indeed be the fuel I need to forgive Kian. I decide to give him a call.
"Hello?" He answers the phone, and he doesn't sound the same.
"Hey, Kian? Could we meet up somewhere?" I say, standing up from my bed and going to my closet.
"Oh my god, finally. Of course. Where?"
"We could go out to dinner?" I suggest and he quickly agrees.
"Yeah, sure. I'll be by your place to get you in like 20."
"See you then."
"I love you." He stutters out and hangs up. I look through my closet and find a pair of patterned leggings that I pair with a large black hoodie that says "what's the wifi password". I slide on combat boots and fix my hair. I put on red lipstick and some mascara on. I wait on my front step for the familiar red truck to appear.
He shows up after me waiting for five minutes outside, and I take in his appearance when I get into the vehicle. He has dark bags under his eyes, is wearing all black, and his hair is shorter with no more blond in it. We make eye contact and without thinking my hand makes its way to his perfect hair, and my lips are on his.
Once I pull away he pulls me into a tight hug. "God fucking damn I've missed you too much for my own good."

I inhale his smell, his cologne mixed with mint and smoke. I smile and reply, "I missed you too Kian, I'm ready to look past what you did." I pull away and make eye contact with him. "But if it happens again, I'll drop you so quick.."
"I pinky promise it won't happen again. That's one of my biggest regrets."
"And I understand that nothing went into it, but I don't want it to happen again. What are you planning for dinner?" I change the subject.
"I was thinking apple bees then ice cream? And maybe if I'm lucky you'll come home with me?" He says in a hopeful voice.
"Depends on how dinner goes, you dork." I laugh and sit back in the passenger seat.
"Well let's go then, love." He says, winking at me and pulling out a smoke and lighting it. I copy his actions and by the time we get to Apple Bee's were talking like normal again.
Dinner went well and Sam has been texting me, but I'm ignoring him to pay attention to Kian. We get back into Kian's truck and he places his hand on my thigh as I check my texts.
From: Sam

im still waiting.
cmon rly sage
To: Sam

From: Sam
why did you go back to him? did you forget what he did?
To: Sam
i listened to him. and its fun pissing you off :)
From: Sam
ur ass is grass.
I lock my phone, looking at Kian who has a cigarette between his lips.
"Sams pissed that I'm with you," I say, and he glances at me. "he's waiting at your house for us."
"He's gonna have to get over himself, quickly too. You're mine." He says and pulls into the ice cream stand parking lot. "What do you want? We're gonna get it and leave."
"Cookies and cream, and since Sams at your place let's get him something too. Strawberry."

Kian sighs, but nods in agreement hopping out of the truck. I wait for him watching as he waits in the line, his foot tapping in irritation. I pull my phone from my pocket and take a picture of him. I smile at it, and in just a few minutes Kian is back at the car with a tray of ice cream.
I smile at him, thanking him. He smiles, leaning over the middle console to connect our lips. "Let's go deal with your fucking brother." He says with a laugh.
We pull into his driveway, and there's Sam chilling on Kian's front step like it's his own place. I hop out of the truck with mine and Sams ice cream.
"We got you ice cream." I say and place it on his lap and sit down next to him, Kian following and sitting next to me. I take a bite of the ice cream, smiling as Kian does the same.
"So what did you do to get her back with you, Lawley?" Sam asks taking another bite of his ice cream.
"I explained myself to her, and she forgave me. I wonder where she got her understanding from, you clearly don't have that trait."
"Just because she can forget what you did doesn't mean I won't, I'm going to hold this against you until you're done fucking my sister." He says, and I scoff.
"You know that our whole relationship isn't all fucking, right?" I ask disgusted with my brother's choice of words.
"So you've fucked?" He asks, raising an eyebrow.
"Once. Jesus christ, Sam. Stop being like this." I say, and he gets up.
"So you fucked her, then fucked another chick?" The words Sam says sting.
"We dated for three months before I fucked up, and we only fucked once during that time period. I'm not with her for the sole purpose of fucking her." Kian says, defending himself.
"Please leave, Sam." I tell him and he walks off thanking us for the ice cream.
NEXT DAY
It's Monday and Kian's last week of school. He has finals all this week, and I have them next week. Kian is thinking of bringing me to LA with him over summer break since he is gonna be moving there for college, and I would love the chance to go to LA with him.
Kian drives us in at 9 since that's when finals and classes start. I kiss him goodbye outside of my first-period class and he goes off to his fourth-period class to take his final. I take my seat and wait for the teacher to start, but there is a sub. The sub looks fresh out of college and is attractive, all of the girls are swooning.
He begins class saying that he'll be the sub since our teacher's mother died and she had to fly out of state to plan and attend the funeral. He says that this week we'll be doing review to prepare for our final next Monday. He passes out a thick packet and begins a movie that is the first part.
Many girls aren't paying any attention to the movie, their eyes on the sub. I'm writing down information from the movie when I look up I see all the girls eyes on me, along with the subs. I glance around the room uncomfortably and hear girls scoff. I look up and all of them have their attention back to the sub but his eyes are still on me, studying me.
I silently curse to myself, wishing Kian was here. The bell soon rings and everyone clears out while I'm shoving the packet I was handed into my bag. I hear the sub get up, and soon enough he is next to me.
"Hey?" I ask, praying Kian will walk through the door soon.
"Hey. I noticed that you were the only girl not um, paying attention to me." he says to me, fiddling with his fingers.
"And? Used to the attention or something?" I snap at him and look at him.
"Kind of. When I don't get it it makes me curious."
"Well, curiosity did kill the cat." I hear Kian's voice by the door. The sub jumps at Kian's voice, and Kian swiftly crosses the room to my side. "Ready for lunch?" He asks me and plants a kiss on my cheek. The subs face is incredibly red, and I agree with Kian and leave the flustered sub in peace.
