Ryn's pov
I woke up to my phone ringing. I check to see who it is, but its an unknown number. As I was about to decline the call, a feeling came over me. I quickly answer it.
"Hello?" I ask hesitantly.
"Ryn? R-Ryn is that you?"
"Yeah, who is this?" I ask.
"Ryn, it's Ava." I cover my mouth with my hand and my eyes start to tear up. And for the first time in forever, I smiled.
"Ava? Ava is it really you?"
"Yeah, its really me." She sound excited. But we were both excited. I mean if you had a twin or even a sibling you've never known, wouldn't you be happy. Now, I'm not alone.
"Where are you?" I ask. I needed to know. I needed to meet her.
"Right now I'm in Target."
"Okay Ava, stay where you are. I'm coming to get you." I say.
"Okay, see you in a few minutes?" When she said that, I got excited. I was finally meeting my sister I never knew I had.
"Yeah. In a few minutes." I smile and quickly hung up the phone. Mom and Dad were still asleep so I wouldn't have to explain anything.
I walk out the door to my black Nissan. I look over at our new next door neighbor. The boy that I saw a few days ago was outside looking at me. He had blonde-brown hair, red cheeks, tattoos, and a lip ring. He had to be a stoner. But I'm not one to judge.
I glance at him and enter my car. I sit in my car for a little bit and he's still staring at me. I stare back until I break it and start the car. I pulled out of my driveway and headed to Target.

I drove into the Target parking lot. I had so many emotions. I was happy, excited, overwhelmed, shocked. All I can think about is, maybe I'll have my first true friend.
I walk into Target and look around. I didn't know what Ava looked like. But I'm guessing she looked somewhat like me. Suddenly, I spotted a girl who looked shocked to see me. Ava.
She dropped her shopping bags and covered her mouth with her hands. Her eyes were wide and she was tearing up. She ran to me and hugged me.
"Ryn! Ryn? Is it really you?" She said trying hard not to yell. I was almost in tears. I begin to nod rapidly.
"Yeah. Yeah, it's really me. Ava?" I asked. She nodded and we continue hugging. Ava leg go of me and held my shoulders.
"I can't believe it's really you." Ava says. She's now crying and almost everyone in Target was staring at us. I just laughed at them.
"I can't either. I mean we've never really seen each other, but it's nice to meet you. I'm your twin sister." Ava and I were speechless. We just stood in the main entrance at Target hugging for what seemed like an eternity.
"So, would you like to go home?" Ava asked. I just nod and smile. It felt good to have a sister. But, this is just a first impression. What if she's different?
