as i heard my

father yelling

i heard running

my door opened

and i looked up

scared

it was you

you walked into

my huge closet

where i sat

in the corner of

crying

i looked up

at you

shaking

you looked into

my eyes

my eyes that were

so puffy

and dark

i was confused

as to how you got

in without bruises

so i asked

you ignored what

i said

and you told me
