《Aang's Guide》Combustion Man: Kyra

I dragged Zuko through the woods, we came to the edge. I looked over and looked at Zuko, "Hold my hand tight, ok?" He nodded grabbing my hand, "What are you planning on doing?" I just laughed as I led him over the edge. We jumped over the cliff as he yelled my name in anger, I air bended us up onto a temple floor near the top. We rolled into a somersault, I stood first going to the edge of the temple floor. To see Aang and the others were behind a big wall, "Zuko you go and attack the man from behind as I go down to the group, to draw his fire. He can't handle two different attacks from opposite sides at the same time." He nodded as he put a hand on my shoulder, "Be careful Kyra." He sprinted from me to the next temple floor and to the next. I looked down and saw him, Aang, he was sending water and air near the bounty hunter. I jumped and air bended to see Aang running behind the wall. When I landed a wave of energy from the man's middle eye cascaded hitting my body, scooting me all the way for Aang and the group to see me. He looked at me confused and defensive as he stood in front of his friends his arms up. As I stood the man blasted his wave again towards me I lifted my hands creating an earth wall, it blasted in my face as I twirled quickly moving the rock sediments from the shattered earth wall closer to my body. I twirl them around my body and push them at the combustion man. Combustion man was about to send another wave but instead dodged the sediments I sent towards him.
I earth bended a medium height wall blocking Aang and his friends. I turned to see Zuko fire bend the man from behind yelling for him to stop. They fought as Zuko tried to stop the bounty hunter, I gasp as I watch the man picked up Zuko. I spring to the edge watching in terror as the man throws him into abyss below, "NO!" I air bended Zuko up and onto the platform where I was. I drag him into my arms, he smiled, "I guess I owe you one." I roll my eyes as I drag him to Aang, "Zuko stay here, I am going to end this!" I went out running from the wall barricade seeing a sharp piece of stone had fallen from the man's wave, near the now broken fountain. I air bended it up and did a front flip kick, with a yell. The sharp piece of stone flew in the air as I quickly brought my hands together creating a wave of air making the stone go faster. I watch stone hit its target, the man collapses falling into the mist below. I fell on my knees, grabbing my side and breathing in heavily, "Zuko who is that?" I hear Toph say. "She is a friend." I hear Zuko say as he shuffled to stand. "Is she another bounty hunter too? Or an assassin? Or someone who means us harm? Cause it seems you like those types of characters." I hear another boy say. I feel Aang's presence behind me. I quickly try to stand to look at him, he looked just like my mother. He is smiling as he bows to me, "Thank you for helping us. " I nod. He's trying to look under my mask. It makes me smile at his curiosity. Zuko comes up beside me, "Aang this person has an important story to tell you." Katara comes beside Aang, "Aang I watched this person air-bend."

Aang looked at me, "Is it true? Are you really an air bender?" I nodded again. I saw tears form in his eyes. "I'm not alone.." He gives me a hug which catches me off guard, but I gladly take it. A boy comes up, "Hello I am Sokka and this is my sister Katara." Katara nods at me. Aang releases his hug and wipes his tears. Toph comes up beside Sokka, "My name is Toph. Why are you wearing that mask?" She earth bends a seat for herself. I was confused on how she knew because from the crystal fog in her eyes told me she was blind. "The stranger is wearing the mask for protection," Zuko says as he puts a hand on my shoulder. I look over at Toph, "Your last name is Beifong right?" She sat up, "Why do you ask?" I earth bended a footrest for her. "No reason." They all backed away from me, except Zuko and Toph. "How did you just earth bend? I thought you were an air-bender?" Sokka said while grabbing his sword. Zuko stepped forward, "She isn't going to hurt you guys!" He looked at me. Katara had her hands up, "She?" He started to say something when I interrupted, "I will tell you my story soon enough, but the real reason I am here is because, I believe Zuko should be your fire-bending mentor Aang." Katara steps forward, "Why should we trust you? We don't even know you! Why are you concerned with Zuko becoming his fire bending master? Who are you?" I moved to the fountain that was in the middle of the temple.
I walked over to it and water bended a stream of water, "Aang, you know Sozin's comet is coming soon even though your skills with the other three elements are impressive you will never be able to defeat Ozai with them alone. Having a fire bending master is more important than you realize and there is no other master around for miles. Even if you don't like it, Zuko is your last hope." Aang watches me bend the water intently, "How..how are you doing that?" He said as his eyes start to gloss over. Zuko stepped forward, "Aang, I always thought my destiny was to capture you and take you to my father so I could restore my honor. But during all the battles we have fought, I realized maybe my destiny was to help you restore balance by defeating my father. I know the only way I can restore my honor is by my own means." I nodded in agreement. Aang stepped forward, "Zuko, I think you are supposed to train me.."I smiled under my mask as I released the water stream back into its natural state. I turned to go hug Zuko but the pain in my right side became unbelievably painful. I fell to the ground onto my knees as I grab my side. Zuko quickly comes to cradle me, I pull my hand off my side to see blood. He looks at the others, "Do you guys have a spare room?" I feel him carry me. I close my eyes, I slide my hand to the main part of the pain. I open my eyes to see my hand, dark blood was covering it. "Zuko..." He kisses my forehead, " I see it..." It must have been the sharp debris from the last wave that shattered the fountain.

As we reach an air nomad room, Zuko lays me on the bed. "Move Zuko!" He groans and rolls his eyes. I watch him move and Katara appears at my side. She moves my cloak and rips my shirt where the part is bleeding. I watch as she bends water out of her pouch and it starts to glow around her hands. "Healing water from the Northern Water Tribe... should've known by your movements. You're a water bender." She doesn't say anything as she places it on my wound, I feel pressure near the pain. I groan, "Ouch, oh man I guess it must be pretty bad." She looks at me, "It's not as bad as I have seen but you do have a deep wound." I nod and look around to find Zuko. I can't see him, then I start to feel this warm hand touch mine, I smile even though no one can see it. Katara stops and puts the water back into her pouch. She leaves for a few seconds and comes back with bandages. "Uh you gotta take off your cloak for me to uh put this on you." Zuko stands in front of her. "I can do it Katara.." She nods, hands the bandages to Zuko and leaves shutting the door behind her. He follows her locking it behind her. I try and sit up. "Kyra wait.." I've already sat up ripping off my mask. He grabs my hands and kisses them. I feel my face blush, I don't know what he is doing. We barely know one another, he has changed and so have I. I try to keep him out of head, I never realized how much I cared for him that way until I saw him fall from the temple. I gave a small smile, "Wanna help me take off my cloak?" He nods and lifts me up out off the bed. I use him as my crutch as he simply unties the cloak and it hits the ground. He gently sets me back into the bed as I groan from the movement. "Uh you gotta take off your shirt..." He starts to blush.
I look down at my shirt and see I can lift my shirt past my ribs and it won't show anything. I then do so, "This should be fine, just wrap the bandages around my torso." He proceeds to wrap my wound a few times and tightens it. He puts my shirt back down, "Kyra, when are you going tell him? He has the right to know who you are, who you truly are." He looks up at me, "Soon Zuko, his curiosity is to strong not to know who I am. He will come to me to get answers." I lay down on the bed, as he sat on the side looking down at me, he gave a small smile. Zuko looked at my lips, he leaned down almost touching them, I wanted him to. I wanted him to kiss me, I never felt this much emotion for someone. "Kyra.." he whispers. I look at his eyes, "Zuko... we can't. Even if I wanted to. We can't." Love was not an option for me, not for the title I had taken. Was this love? I wasn't sure, but I felt something. I've only just met this Zuko and what if we did fall for one another? I wouldn't be able to handle leaving him behind, I felt my heart break. "Kyra... please... I just.." he tightened his grip on my hand. I know what he wanted, I wanted it to. He deserved better than this though, I knew it. I sigh, "Zuko, I just can't." He leaned up a moment I could see his eyes glistening. I went to reach for his hand again but he stood turning to me, "I'm sorry Kyra..." he only bowed to me as he turned, opening the door abruptly leaving the room.
I sigh as I let the tears fall from my eyes, "I'm sorry too." I sit up and lean down reaching for the mask. I wince at the pain as I looked at it, it felt weird to know that soon the world would know about the Avatar Guide. For so long I have wanted to show my face to the outside world, so they could know who I truly was. The monks had kept me hidden for so long I don't know how I will be able to cope with the world knowing I am the Avatar's twin. But as I look at the mask, I proceeded to put it on for the last time. For I know I would have a visitor later tonight....

Lone: The Wanderer [Rewrite]
Nine-to-five. The daily grind. Life. Painful years of school. Working as a slave for some undeserving corporate big-wig. The monotonous life of unemployment. We all experience this in one way or another, and we can all conclude one thing: it's dull. Such a fact rings true even for the fabled Lone Immortus, a powerful nine-tailed Golden Foxkin. However, what would you do if your monotony was suddenly ground to a halt and you were thrown out of your comfort zone along with a young girl forgotten by time? Perhaps you might have done things differently, been more organised, immediately died, gained control of the world in a matter of days, but this is Lone's tale, not yours. Watching two insecure people struggle to survive and find their place in an unfamiliar land just might be enjoyable to witness. Who knows? One thing's for certain: it won't be an easy path for them to tread, and what could possibly be more entertaining than watching people endure hardships and grow? I know of at least eight gods that would answer with, 'Absolutely nothing.' I wonder, after seeing this journey from start to finish, how would you answer?
