Almost two weeks. Two weeks since Clay and I fought, I haven't heard a single word from him.

It's getting better now though, I stopped thinking about him so much. Nick officially moved to Florida too, I think he told me they were making plans for George to come as well.

He took three days off everywhere, no social media no nothing. After just three fucking days, he was back, streaming and uploading videos as if nothing ever happened.

It took him just three days to get over me.

I thought that by watching his streams I would get better, get over him quicker... but it didn't help. Hearing him laugh and enjoy life with his friends, specially Nick, hurt me. Did I really mean so little to him?

Also, speaking of Nick, him and Angel are 'exclusive', so I have to see him almost everyday. Angel refuses to go to Clay's, she says that if he sees him she will cut his balls off.

Now looking back, I think the worst thing about this all wasn't him leaving me, it was not getting closure.

All I got was a stupid 'I'm doing what's best for you', he wouldn't even bother listening to me, to what I had to say

"Oh my god I can't find my black ripped jeans" I curse "Angel have you seen them?"

"Which ones?"

"I think I got them from shein?" I say trying to recall where those were from

"Ohhh the ones you wore the last time we went to Disney" she says

"Don't tell me-"

"I'll text Nick" Angel huffs

Most of my wardrobe was at Clay's, even though Nick brought almost everything back, there are some things which, for some reason, got mixed up with Clay's

"Hello ladies" Nick says entering my room

The Clay subject was a touchy one, none of them mentioned him, but it was the elephant in the room.

I know I should try and reach out to him, force him to listen to me. But I made a promise, I'm not giving in I don't do breaks.

"Hey Sappy" I tease him

"Charlotte-" he warns me and I roll my eyes

"Wait no really, I have something to tell you guys" I say

"Don't say you are pregnant" Angel whispers

"How- How would I be pregnant" I laugh

"By me" Sapnap huffs

"Beat him up Angel, now" I sternly say

"On it"

"No no wait" Nick pulls back "Let Charlotte say her announcement"

"God fine"

"So, Troy asked me out" I say "And I'm thinking of saying yes"

I waited for Nick to get here to announce this, why? Because I know he'll tell Clay.

Angel once told me he overheard Nick on discord with him and I'm guessing George and the other guys too, talking about me.

My plan is for him to tell Clay I'm going on a date, that I moved on too.

"That's great oh my god" Angel happily says

"Ohh who is this Troy guy" Nick says wiggling his eyebrows

"Jake's friend"

"Oh Troy as in the guy who you kissed in front of Clay Troy" Angel ties everything together

"Y-yes.." I stutter

"Oh-... oh" Sapnap realizes too "Fucked up"

"Huh???"

"That, you going out with the guy you cheated on him with?"

"What are you even on Nick, Clay and I were never dating, you can't cheat on a non-existent relationship" I tell him

"Look Charlotte, I know Dream said some fucked up shit and messed up a lot, but he's still my best friend, and even if he miserably failed to show it, he cared about you, a lot" my stomach drops "It just doesn't sit right, that's all"

"You know what didn't sit right with me? Him mentioning my sexual assault in front of a group of people he didn't know" I say

Nick stays quiet looking at me

"So no, I do not owe him absolutely nothing, we didn't even officially date"

I'm even sure he had me around if because he just wanted a quick fuck. That's probably all he wanted.

"Oooook guys, are you hungry? We could go to get lunch" Angel says trying to ease the tension

"I have to get lunch with Jake, and even if I didn't I'm not in the mood for this" I say getting up from my bed and walking towards the door "Please lock the door when you leave"

I decided to walk to the restaurant Jake and I were getting lunch, it was close by and I didn't really mind.

This restaurant is important to us, when I first moved here we would always come get lunch at this place.

However as time went by we slowly had less and less spare time to actually get together. We haven't come out here in a while, so I'm definitely excited about this.

"Hi Jake" I smile at him, he was already seated

"Hi Charlie" he smiled at me too

Soon enough we ordered our food and talked about random things, like school and life in general

Jake really wanted to ask me about the party, I know that, I know him. He just didn't know how to

Talking about our feelings wasn't something we usually did, but I saw him almost punch Clay, he was mad

"So there's been something I've been meaning to ask you about"

And he finally did, he asked me

"That thing that happened at the party, right?" I beat him to it

"Yeah... if you don't want to talk about it's fine then, just wanted to make sure you were fine" He grabs my hand in a reassuring way

"No... it's fine" I mumble

So I tell him everything, since Clay rescued me in that first frat party, up until he walked in on me kissing Troy.

"Oh so he was the one with the familiar voice" he recalls.

I did tell him everything, just avoided the fact that Clay is Dream

"Yeah that one" I say

"What a douche, I should've beat him up that night" Jake says and I laugh

"Yeah you almost hit Nick too while trying"

"That Nick guy is dating Angel right?" he asks

Oh. OH

I kinda feel bad now, I knew they both tried dating? Or had something for a while, guess that with Clay and all of that I forgot about them...

"Yeah... they are getting pretty serious" I tell him, and Jake's face turns into a disappointed one "I'm sorry"

"No, it's fine, guess us two weren't meant to be, I think Angel never really liked me like that" he says

"She did care about you, a lot, know that" I comfort him

"He's Clay's friend too right?" he asks and I nod

"And how is that working out" Jake laughs

"I feel like he's kind of on my team? I don't know he was upset about everything that Clay said too so" I explain

"Ok, just tell me and I'll beat them up" he jokes

"I definitely will"

The rest of the lunch was spent talking about utter nonsense, but I like that, it helps me forget about my actual problems

"Thank you for this Jake, I really needed this" I hug him

"We should do it more often, it's a shame we stopped" he tells me "Also, mom called"

Crap

"What did she want?" I say

"The usual, she misses us and wants us to go back to New York for the holidays, she's hosting a ball or something like that"

"Do we really need to go?" I complain

I was able to escape last year's, this time it will be a bit harder

"Yes she said something along the lines of 'we are a family we need to be seen together' or something like that" Jake imitates her

I look at him with pleading eyes, but he shakes his head side to side

I roll my eyes "Fine, I'll see what I can do"

When I get back home I unwillingly go up to my computer to go on twitch.

He's live.

I join the stream just to hear him, hear his voice.

Is this healthy? Probably not

"Oh my god George why are you like this" he laughs

"Like what Dream" his British friend cheekily answers

"Get off of me you stupid British fuck" he complains still laughing

They were playing minecraft, but they weren't on the server I played with them on, it was another one, looked like a mini game one?

I'm still trash at knowing minecraft terms

This gave me an idea though.

I closed that twitch tab and opened obs

Clay had set it up for me so that I could stream if I wasn't over at his

Since that q&a day I haven't went live, I didn't feel like it... until now

I text Angel before I do so though

Angel go on clay's stream and lmk if he reacts to me going live

Then a robotic voice goes off

"Hi Charlotte, we missed you! glad you are back"

"Hi oh my god yes" I say "I did this only once but really missed it" I smile

I check to see who's watching my stream, under the 'Moderators' tab I see him

'Why were you absent for so long'

"Just personal stuff" I trail off "Had really shitty people in my life which I cut off, thankfully" I slightly shade him

I ignore it

"So tell me chat, how was your week?" I say, trying to avoid the Dream topic "Got any plans for next weekend?"

I look down to read chat for a bit

Then the robotic voice goes off again

'I have a slumber party with some friends, what are you doing next weekend char?'

"Ohhh seems fun" I say "And I don't have anything too interesting next week"

I look to see if he's still in chat

My chat fills up with people asking who it's with, some saying it's Dream while others saying it's Sapnap? I sometimes don't understand what these guys are even on.

"Not telling you who it's with, BUT just know if it ends right then I might be on some cliche Wattpad story about dating your brothers best friend" I laugh

I didn't need Nick for Clay to find out about this one then, just perfect
