I pace around my room, how do I manage to do this over and over again

I need to talk to someone or I'll explode, I need to talk to George and Nick

I almost sprint over to my office and get into the vc they are all at

"Can I borrow Sapnap and George for a moment?" I intrude into their conversation. I know Karl is streaming so I sound as unbothered as possible, chat can be really good detectives sometimes

"We are in the middle of something here Dream" Karl interjects

"Is it really that important?" George adds

"It's about a code for the new video, please" I plead, trying to get them off the vc

"God, fine" George mutters

After we join the new vc, I stall for a few, knowing damn well I'm about to get scolded by my two best friends

"Can you get to the point, I'm not losing to Karl" Sapnap says, getting tired

"Yeah Dream there's no actual video, we didn't record anything, what's up"

"I kind of fucked things up with Charlotte" I finally let out, and the call falls silent

"Fuck you Sapnap" George curses

"Sapnap?" I asked very much confused

"Eat shit George, come on, pay up" Sapnap laughs

"Why are you guys laughing"

"Stupid Sapnap wanted to bet in how long it would take you to fuck things up again" George explained

"Did you guys seriously put money on that?" I say getting pretty mad

"Sapnap said it would take at least a week, I bet on three, guess Sapnap was right"

"Why would you guys even do that, that's fucked" I can't believe them

"Hey! I had a little bit more faith in you" George laughs, he fricking laughed

"No yeah, you guys aren't of any help, I'm leaving" I exit the vc and wait for a bit, then my phone starts going off

I click on the vc again

"Ok, what happened" George asks way more seriously now

So I explain everything, from the stream and Charlotte flirting with Nick to when I lashed out on her

"You have to be kidding me" Sapnap huffs "I see Charlotte as a little sister, what we say is purely lighthearted"

"Yeah, plus she should be upset about you flirting with me during streams then as well" George contemplated

"But we are like, doing a bit it's not real" I shuddered

"AND SO IS SHE" Sapnap shouts "She doesn't want to sleep with me Dream, she's with you"

"She said the same thing" I sit back on my chair and grab my head "Fuck I'm so stupid I can't-" I stand up and hit my wall, creating a hole

"No no no no no" George says "Dream listen to us"

"Dream go to her house and talk to her"

"Yeah do that, and please be calm"

Both Sapnap and George try to calm me down, but it's actually making things worse, so I exit the call once again only to be left in complete silence

I need to see her, I need to be better for her.

Me caring so much for her makes me irrational, I want to keep her in a little box so that nothing goes against of what I want. But I can't have that.

She's very decisive and always knows exactly what she wants, I can't control her, and that drives me mad, so I immediately push her away. I have to be better.

Maybe I should wait things out, so that I can chill off a bit and go there and not lash out again.

I go back to my room and lay on my bed, I look at the ceiling for a bit and just try to relax by controlling my breath.

Breath in. Breath out. Breath in. Breath out. Brea- Oh fuck this i'm going for her.

Grabbing my keys in one swift motion I exit my house and get into my car.

"Hey hey, it's fine, take your time" Angel soothes me

The ride home was silent, Angel trying not to talk to me in case I'll cry again, but that's not the case, i'm more mad than anything now

This is all so stupid, I hate that he got upset at me for such a stupid thing, I was clearly joking around with Sapnap

"He literally got upset at me joking around with his bestfriend" I explain

"Joking about what" Angel sits in front of me.

We are in our kitchen now, sitting on the islands

"I just said I would kiss him because I killed his other bestfriend on minecraft" I say, that's literally all that happened

"Wait why would you say that" Angel scolds me, is she for real?

"Angel they joke around like that, I'm clearly not gonna kiss his bestfriend what" I defend myself, trying not to get mad at her too "If I were to do it, I would be smarter I wouldn't say it right in front of him"

"Fair point"

"I know, and he always does this, he can make those types of jokes, but gets mad when I do them too? Nick is also my friend"

"Do you want to know what I think about this?" Angel sits back

"Enlighten me"

"I think he cares too much. And even though it may not sound too bad, it can get really toxic, so if you decide to go back please communicate, I don't want to see you worse than this" Angel mused

I don't say anything, she is right, Clay and I can't go on like this, it isn't healthy for any of us. I care so much about him too, I can't just hurt him and move on

Angel gets off the counter and pushes me upstairs into my room "Get inside and put a movie on or something, try to get your mind off things, you need to think"

"I love you Angie" I look at her "Thank you"

"Anytime baby" Angel embraces me and places a light kiss on my forehead.

Quickly closing the door, I go back to a fluffy carpet I have on my floor and lay on top of it.

I need to talk to George, he has to know more about this.

As I was about to put my phone down, I get a call from George

"George?" I say "You didn't have to call me, it's fine"

"No, this is important, Dream is important" he reassures me

"I'm guessing he already spoke to you guys..." I drift off

"Yeah and we scolded him, he knows he's wrong now" George explains, making me feel a little relieved, maybe his not all that mad at me "He was really upset at himself, I-"

"Wait he is fine, right?" I cut him off

"We are not sure, he called us and then got very mad and left the vc, he hasn't answered any of our texts or calls since"

"And why didn't you guys do anything?"

"What is there to do Charlotte? Sapnap lives in another state and I live in England, physically we can't do anything" George defends himself

"Right, sorry I forgot you guys haven't met yet, I'm just getting really upset what if something happened to him?" I cautioned

Our conversation didn't expand any further, George was trying to calm me down, and he did a pretty good job at it. However, no matter how much I tried to remain calm, Clay wouldn't leave my mind.

Suddenly, I hear a knock on the door.

"That must be Angel, wait a sec" I tell

George

Opening the door I say "Angel I thought you sai-" But when I look up I'm met by a tall blond boy, staring at me

"I'll call you back George" I say hanging up the phone
