He lowers the window and before driving away says "Thank you for giving me a second chance"

"What are we going to do about Adam" is the first thing my best friend tells me when I join the call after dropping Charlotte off at her house.

"Nothing" I answer. I'm not getting in between them, I don't wanna lose her again

"Well I think she's got a proper crush on you" the british guy assures

"No she doesn't, she just sees me as a friend sadly, nothing more"

"She doesn't though? I don't think so at least, by the way she acts around you I would say otherwise" George explains

"Yeah why did she get so upset by the fact that you didn't text her for a few weeks" Karl says

"Because I was being immature? I kind of liked her so I got scared and pushed her away" I confess

"But didn't you tell her that-" Sapnap starts, but I cut him off

"I know what I told her, I wasn't about to spill my emotions to her after two days of meeting her"

"Right" Sapnap says unconvinced

"I really haven't met her but what if she's just clout chasing, you should be careful Dream you have a lot of influence" Bad says

"Nah I don't think she's like that, she's different and genuine" I say. I truly don't think she's after my fame "When we met she didn't even knew minecraft youtubers existed" I add

"And what if she did" Sapnap intrudes "You are pretty popular, at some point you will encounter a girl you find attractive that knows you, how bad could it be"

"Does she have a tiktok?" George questions

"Check that and see if she mentions Dream at any point" Sapnap says "That could be a clear indicator she's on it for the wrong reasons"

"Here I'll do it" Karl says starting to media share.

We scroll through her page but nothing too weird comes up. She has a few thirst traps and videos with her friends

"See she never even mentioned me or any of you guys" I say

"She's hot" Sapnap says clearly trying to get a rise out of me

"Yeah try to get with her and tell me if you succeed so you can give me advice since I'm fucking lost" I say humorously

"Yeah I'll tell you how hard I'll bang her" he jokes again

"Language" Bad says

"Ew Sapnap" George adds afterwards

"Too far Sap" I warn him. I know that's his type of humor and he doesn't mean it in a bad way but even the thought of him banging her icks me

"What about her twitter?" Bad asks

"Does she even have one?" I question

"Everyone does, Karl open it up" the texas boy says

Her page pops up on our screen, but it's just her tweeting about her life, not once does she mention me or my friends.

"Well this is a good sign, right?" I happily say and I move closer to my monitor

"I guess" Bad answers

"I asked her about Adam yesterday while you were gone" George suddenly confesses

"You did what" Why would he even do that, she said she didn't like being tied to him, that she was her own person

Thank god they can't hear my thoughts, I'd have to fight for my life on the group chat

"Don't worry I don't think she thought much of it" George dismisses me

"Well what did she say" I push

"Oh that she's already in love with him" Sapnap dryly says

I feel my stomach drop, does she really like him that much? They only met once, what could he possibly have that I don't, what could he posible offer that I couldn't

"Sapnap don't make him panic" Geogre quickly says "She, in fact, said it wasn't that serious, that she only hooked up with him once and is just going to this date because she is sorry for him" Did she really?

"The last part isn't completely true but it is what we deduced from the way she said it" Karl butts in

"Wait she's going on a date with Adam?" Bad asks

"Yes" I say through my teeth

"The same Adam that your ex cheated on you with?" he says again

"How many Adams do you think we know" George says

Sadly, we only know one, a very shitty one

"Why are you still friends with him" Bad says disgusted

"We have the same friend group here, they are the only friends I have left from highschool" I truthfully say, I've known them my entire life

"Drop them, they are a bunch of losers" Sapnap shouts

"Says the minecraft streamer" George whispers

"Hey at least we are famous" I laugh followed by the british boy agreeing with me

"Any truers?" Karl says

"Yeah... Anyways, what are we going to do about the Charlotte thing" George ignores Karl

"Who's we?" I say

"Us, we are plotting here" Karl says

"I have an idea, why don't you just tell her about him being an asshole" Sapnap cheekily says

"No because if I step in then it will look like I'm still mad about my ex" I begin "And I don't want to give him that satisfaction

"But... you are right about being mad" Bad says "I remember when it happened, we all remember, he broke your trust, we are surprised you even trusted Charlotte so early on with you being Dream"

"I could text it to her" George speaks up "I might just be warning her"

"Yeah or make a comment about her going on a date with a backstabbing piece of shit" Sapnap says

"It sounds like he hooked up with your girlfriend, not mine" I remark

"No bro, I believe in 'forgive but never forget', he may not have known you liked Charlotte but the dude is an ass" Sapnap responds

"What he said, I'm intervening, and it doesn't matter if you don't want us to, maybe we are doing it for her you know?" George adds

"I think she would like to know her possible new boyfriend is an awful friend" Bad mentions and I get really annoyed

Even the thought of her being his girlfriend makes me very pissed off

"I still don't think this is a good idea" I groan

I know George, he wants to help me but I know he's gonna mess up and make me end up looking desperate

"We are not telling her to go and date you, you need to do that, you need to win her over, we are just warning her about the douche" Sapnap defends himself

"Alright but don't mention me at all" I warn them once again

"Well it's kind of difficult since he had sex with YOUR girlfriend" Karl says being a smartass

"Oh come on, you know what I mean, just don't say you talked with me or that she should try being with me instead" I clarify, sitting back on mu chair, is this really the best thing to do?

"What. did. Sapnap. JUST. say." Karl says getting closer to his microphone after each word

"I'm dming her on discord right now" George informs us

"Why would we say that" Sapnap's voice rings into my ears through mu headphones "I'm trynna tap instead"

"Language" Bad shouts

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY LANGUAGE I DIDNT SAY A BAD WORD" Sapnap shouts

"Sapnap if you say anything else about fucking her I will fly to Texas and kick your dumb cowboy ass into orbit" I say

"Guys" George says, but no one pays attention to him

"Bet, I will keep going, maybe that way you'll decide to meet me irl once and for all" Nick challenges me

"Alright then I'll send a missile your way" I smartly say crossing my arms over my chest

"Guys" George says a little bit louder, yet, still none of us pay attention to what he's saying

"Ok daddy, are you going to missile your way into this" Sapnap begins but is immediately cut off by a shouting british man

"BLOODY HELL CAN ANY OF YOU PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT IM TRYING TO SAY" George shouts and the call falls silent

"Thank god, now, as I was trying to say, CHARLOTTE IS CALLING ME" he says

"Ok? Answer" I smartly say

"Add this to the 'Dream 1000 IQ montage', how are you so smart? Please enlighten us" Sapnap remarks ironically

"And why didn't you tell us earlier?" Karl asks

"I tried but stupid Dream and stupid Sapnap kept arguing over me" He say outraged

"What are you waiting for? Answer the call and put it on speaker, let's move to facetime so we can hear what she says" Sapnap, for the first time in his life, cleverly says

"Alright, here we go" George finally says before leaving the call.

I hope we don't screw this up.

If I lose her again, I don- I don't know what I'd do.
