《Control (Book 1 of Control Series)》Chapter 31

While I was out I not only bought my girl some of her favorite seafood platters, I scheduled her into some music classes. Jared told me that he took her out of private lessons because, of her bitch teacher hit her, thankfully that was taken care of and Dylan told me that she had a talent for music and enjoys doing it. So I took the liberty to do so also keeping in mind that she could socialize with other girls. I enter the house, kicking the door closed and walking into the kitchen. I set the food on the counter and grab some plates setting them on the kitchen counter. I can't wait to see the look on her face when she see what I've brought her, I think. Just when I pop open the lid of the shrimp, chicken pasta I hear the sound of shattering glass and my girl's cries. Dropping the lid I race up the stairs and bang open the door going to the bathroom door doing the same thing but, harder and I know from the sound of it hitting the wall that I put a hole in it but, I don't care.
The sight before, me has me wanting to kill someone. On the floor, bleeding and covered in glass is my babygirl Rose. "O baby." Rushing to her side I gentaly pick her up and cradle her in my arms. "What happened Rose," I ask only for her to flinch and shake her head. It's then that I finally register her sobs and bound down the stairs slowing down when I hear her sobs get louder. "Shh, it's okay," I say thinking that I'm moving her too much. "I'll be gentle." I head down to the first aid room that's in the east wing. Setting her down on the table I try to look at her wounds only to see glass everywhere. I take out my cellphone and call the family doctor.

"Hello?"
"Get you ass down here, now," I demand.
"On my way."
I hang up the phone and focus my attention on Rose. She cradles her hand that's covered in blood and has the most shards. I walk over and slowly reach over to her and gently take her hand. I grab a big piece of glass, just as Rose tries to pull away. "Your going to feel so much better once they're out baby," I coo. "If you resist there's going to be more pain." She stops trying to pull away but, is still tense and I quickly pull out the large piece of glass and she winces. "Sorry baby." The front door bangs open and I look at the time impressed that he got here so fast. I hear panting and footsteps running towards Rose's and I's destination. He slams the door open and when he sees Rose he immediately goes into action. His eyes hold curiosity but, he doesn't ask any questions. That's why he's my doctor he doesn't ask questions and I don't give him answers. No matter how bad the injuries. He picks the glass out of Rose's hands and some out of her hair. "I'll need to wash her hair to get all the glass out." I nod and pick Rose up walking to the sink and tilt her body back her head leaning back. He touches her face and tilts her head back a little more turning on the water. Seeing him touch her I want to rip his fucking head off and put it on a stick for his wife and daughter Barbra and Claire to see.
I push down the urge and watch. He grabs the towel I offer him and wraps her hair up. He then checks any other injuries and frowns before making his face blank. After a few minutes he steps back and give Rose a smile. "Your wounds will heal after some time luckily the glass didn't go to deep or cut a vein. You should eat something and take some pain killers." He looked over at me. "Can we talk outside." I nod and follow him out into the hall. "What's up," I ask. He looks down and fiddles with his fingers and stops taking a deep breath. "At first I thought they were tattoos. Then I took a closer look and saw that they were carvings from a clean blade probably a kitchen knife." I froze. What? "What where they?" He takes a deep breath. "There were roses on her hip and a cage bird on her rib cage and..." I suck in a breath. "What," I choke out. "There were scars at her... area and the scars the carving they-" The next set of words had my world crashing down.
