Kaia felt fear she didnt think she had ever felt before. She had been woken up to a man covering her mouth. Then she had been threatened, gagged and dragged to the livingroom. It had felt like a horrible horror movie. This time she knew, it wasn't Trystan and she knew this was bad. Seeing her aunt tied up in the same manner she was had made her feel worse. Beside her aunt were Fallon and Keith also tied up. She looked around for Trystan as she was dropped to their side but he was not in the room. She felt her heart quicken at the fear that something bad might have happened to him. Just as her mind began to travel over all the things that might have happened to him, a man walked in. She flinched at the sight of the scars on his face. They looked horrid and painful. Right behind him was Trystan who was pulled in by men that she recognized as Trystan's men. She felt relief that he was okay but she couldn't hide the fear she felt about what was to come. She watched as Trystan was tied up and pushed into a sitting position right beside her

"Well, now that we are all here, let me introduce myself. My name is John Asher. I am Trystan's father." The man explained with a dark smile that freaked her out. But he was Trystan's father. Then why was he doing all of this? "Please take off our guests gags, I am sure they have a lot to say." The men followed his orders. Keith spoke first, spitting out his words.

"How did you get here?"

"Oh you mean without Van der Molen knowing what I was doing? Well, I had to get someone who looked like me or make them look like me. I have been in the city for seven months. Watching, waiting for my chance, while you planned your stupid revenge on me. I have to admit that seeing how poorly you planned made me a little disappointed." He walked to Kaia, his eyes gleamed with hatred and a slight amount of interest. "Then she appears." He reached out and ran a finger down her face. Trystan moved towards him, his eyes narrowed and his breathing heavy. Everyone could see the anger in his expression and the hate in his jerky movement. Kaia wanted to reach out to him but she couldn't. Not when his father was squatting down next to her. One of the men, grabbed Trystan before he could move another inch, pulling him back to his previous spot. John laughed as he studied Kaia's face. Kaia wanted to slink back. The way he was looking at her made her feel uncomfortable, made her feel dirty and scared at the same time. Her aunt gave a squeak and made a small move but Kaia saw the look Fallon gave her aunt which made her aunt stay still. Kaia was okay with that because she didn't what they would do to her aunt if she moved. Her aunt was just an innocent bystander. Kaia wasn't sure about what was going on but she knew the man in front of her did not care about hurting anyone.

"You bastard!" Trystan exclaimed.

"I can feel the hate, you know. Feels a lot like when you were with me, doesn't it? I wondered why you were so interested in her. What did she have that captured your attention so quickly. Now I see it. She's a lot like your mother was, isn't she? Brings back memories. Ah, Marjorie."

"Don't you dare talk about her! Keep her name out of your mouth!" Trystan fought against his restraint like a mad man.

"Oh come on, Trystan! She was just a woman that happened to bear me a child. She was nothing. Just like your beautiful girl here. So pretty and yet so insignificant." His father stood, letting go of Kaia's face. The relief Kaia felt made her entire body feel weak. She hadn't felt so much hate and evil before. "And why are you two so quiet?" His father asked, directing his attention to Fallon and Keith who had been very quiet.

"What would you like us to say? That we are surprised that outsmarted us? That we hate you with every fibre of our being?" Keith smirked at him. "You already know all of that and honestly, I have been waiting for this moment since we escaped your clutches. I knew it was only a matter of time. We all did, even though we hoped we would be in control. I must admit that I love your scars. They really fit your twisted sould to a tee but I am disappointed I didn't give them to you."

"Ah yes, Trystan beat you to it." His father announced with a smile at Trystan as Kaia gasped. Kaia turned to Trystan, watching as her aunt did the same. Kaia was in shock the man she was in love with could do something so horrible. Why would Trystan even do this? She couldn't believe that Trystan would do that, especially without a reason. She saw the unveiled loathing in Trystan's eyes and flinched. Maybe he did do that. Was that why this ma, his father, was doing this to them?

"You deserve those scars and that pain." Fallon's voice surprised everyone. They all turned to look at him as he calmy spoke. "You are a monster who tortured us when we were just children. You deserve a lot worse." The revelation shocked Kaia again. This man had tortured them. This man was the reason for Trystan's breakdown and they had been kids. She was so confused and she wanted them to explain everything but she doubted if they would. She could see the man was getting close to tipping over the edge in anger and she was sure that would spell doom. She was very sure that if this man wanted it, none of them would leave this room alive.
