Snape turned towards Draco. "Mr. Jackson here, is a demigod."

~~~
Today just really wasn't Percy's day. The room was silent after Snape's reveal, until it erupted into chaos.
Percy was so done with the lies and games. He just wanted to get Annabeth and go home.
Wait. Annabeth.
She was here.
Percy could hear yelling and talking in the background but he tuned it out. Looking at his surroundings he noticed a small hidden door across the room.
Every creepy old mansion has a dungeon. And if Annabeth wasn't right where he was... she must've been in there.
Percy's heart beat faster. He tensed, feeling the adrenaline rush through him.
He was about to do something stupid. Really stupid. Something that Annabeth would certainly kill him for, if he didn't get killed doing it.
Suddenly, Percy was really thankful Annabeth used to lecture him about architecture. Those lessons were about to save their lives. Hopefully.
Focusing, Percy willed an earthquake. Not a big one, just enough to separate him, from Draco, Draco's dad, perm lady, and Snape.
A gaping crack began to form and soon grew to be (in Percy's opinion) very big.
As Percy hoped, the wizards fixated on the mini canyon, which gave him time to stumble towards the door.
Percy thankfully got to it without getting blown up which led him to one deduction: Wizards have terrible reflexes.
In all the commotion Percy forgot his hands were still tied. In a quick and strong movement, Percy ripped his hands apart, causing the rope to snap. Unfortunately, Percy would have to deal with severe rope burn and a probable sprained wrist later.
Whipping the door open Percy ran down the steps.
"Annabeth?" Percy yelled.
"Percy?"
"Annie! Where are-" Percy froze in his tracks.
In front of him was the most beautiful, beaten up girl he's ever seen. "A- Annabeth?" Percy's voice faltered. "Is it, is it really you? I can't deal with more tricks-"
Annabeth rushed towards him flinging her arms around his neck and kissed him.
Percy kissed back.
Both demigods hugged and cried into each other's arms.
"What, no judo flip this time?" Percy joked through tears.
Annabeth laughed into his shoulder and sniffled. "Thought about it, but I figured you'd be too beat up to handle it."
Percy laughed. "Is that right?" Percy wiped his tears. Annabeth pulled him back into a hug.
"I can't believe it's really you." Annabeth muttered into Percy's shoulder. "Gods Percy, I missed you so much."
"I thought you were dead." Percy cried. "Annabeth I never stopped looking for you. I love you, so, so much Wise Girl."
"I love you too Seaweed Brain."
"I am never letting you go. Ever, ever, again."
Annabeth nodded.
It felt like they were standing there forever, forgetting the world.
"You okay?" Percy asked.
"Never better." Annabeth smiled.
They pulled apart.
"Gods, Annie, so much has happened since you disappeared."
Annabeth stared at Percy. Then punched him.
"Ow!"
"Don't call me Annie."
Percy raised an eyebrow. "Oh come on-" Annabeth punched him in the arm again. "Okay, okay, okay."
Going back to their reunion, Annabeth said: "You'll have to fill me in then, won't you?"
"Promise."
"Well, we can do that later." Annabeth said. "We need to get out of here. I don't know what that big rumble was, but it didn't sound good."
"Oh. That was my stomach."
Annabeth playfully glared at Percy.
Percy put his hands up in surrender. "Kidding. I made an earthquake to distract them to find you."
"You came up with a plan?" Annabeth joked. "Wow, Perce, I'm impressed."
"Well, I did learn from the best."
Annabeth cracked a smile. "We need to get out of here. They're going to find us."
"One step ahead of you." Percy held out his arm. "Hold on."
Annabeth gave him a questioning gaze, but took his arm anyways.
"Uh, this is gonna feel like shadow traveling, but uh, more humid."
"What?"
Within seconds, Percy vapor travelled him and Annabeth to the lake outside Hogwarts.
Both demigods collapsed onto the ground.
"That was horrible." Annabeth muttered.
"But cool right? I'm getting better though. This time I did it with another person and I didn't pass out."
"...Vapor travel?"
"Yep."
"Huh. Didn't know you could do that."
"Neither did I."
Percy and Annabeth laughed until Annabeth sat up and saw Hogwarts.
"Oh. My. Gods... it's beautiful! The architecture, it's amazing! Oh my gods." Annabeth began to ramble about the structure, but all Percy could think about was how cute she looked.
Gods he missed her so much.
"Annabeth, Hogwarts. Hogwarts, Annabeth." Percy introduced. "Wait till you see the inside, it's so cool."
Annabeth looked at him with a sparkle in her eyes. "Can't wait."
"And I promise, I'll introduce you to everyone and catch you up on everything- there, there's a lot." Percy said.
Annabeth gazed at him, understanding that what he will say won't be all great news.
Hand in hand, Percy and Annabeth walked into Hogwarts.
~~~

Hermione, Ron, and Harry sat in McGonagall's office, freaking out.

"- and we can't find him anywhere." Hermione finished.

McGonagall nodded, obviously worried. "Well, it's not like Percy to wander off... at least, not while he's been at Hogwarts. He has always come back. Percy is a very capable young man, and I believe wherever he is, he will be okay."

"But how can you be sure?" Ron asked.

"I'm sure me standing here is proof enough." Percy cut in.

The trio whipped their heads around to see a bloody and dirty Percy, and a very injured blonde girl leaning on him in the doorway.

"Anyways, I'd love to catch you guys up, but we're both about to pass out... so if you could lend a hand that would be great." At that, Percy began to sway and it took everything in him to not pass out.

Harry, Ron, and Hermione gaped at the two demigods. McGonagall's eyebrows creased, but she didn't question them right away.

"Yes, yes, of course." Minerva rushed over to her desk, where she kept a spare bag of ambrosia, and a vial of nectar. "Here, take this." She handed them to Annabeth, who attempted a smile in thanks.

"Here Percy." She muttered, shakily breaking off a piece and shoving it into his mouth.

Percy coughed on the ambrosia. "Thanks."

Annabeth then ate nearly half the bag.

"Annie! You can't..." Percy started, but stopped at Annabeth's glare. "Never mind."

Carefully, Percy and Annabeth (with Percy kicking the door shut) hobbled into McGonagall's office and plumped down onto the floor.

"Gotta be honest, this is not how I planned my day to go." Percy stated to the room.

Annabeth chuckled. "Honestly... yeah. Me too."

Percy smiled, before realizing that the four other people in the room probably wanted an explanation.

Percy cleared his throat. "Uh guys. This is my girlfriend Annabeth Chase, Annabeth, that's Harry, Ron, and Hermione." Percy pointed to each person. "This is Professor McGonagall, she's the head of Gryffindor (which is the house I'm in)."

Annabeth gave a small wave. "At camp, people called us Percabeth."

Percy faked a look of astonishment. "Called? No, no, no, no, Annie. They still do."

Annabeth punched Percy in the arm- again. "Really?"

Percy rubbed his bruised arm. "Well, they did before your funeral."

"My what?" Annabeth stared at Percy.

Percy looked at the ground. "Everyone sorta thought you were dead so... I made you an awesome shrine. You'll love it."

Annabeth's eyes watered.

"Wise Girl? You alright?"

Annabeth sniffled. "Yeah. Yeah. It's just uh- it's a lot to process. And we still need to figure out the prophecy-"

"You know it?"

"Voldemort wouldn't shut up about it. Trust me."

Percy scowled, and (yet again) the floor began to shake. "I'm going to kill him," Percy growled.

Annabeth put a hand on Percy's shoulder. Immediately the room stopped shaking. Harry, Ron, and Hermione stared in shock at the interaction.

"You can't. It's not your prophecy." Percy stared at Annabeth confused for a moment, until realization dawned on him.

"Harry." Percy said suddenly. Harry looked at him.

"What?"

"I can't kill Voldemort. I could only save Annabeth, because it wasn't my prophecy."

Harry stared in confusion for a few more minutes before it hit him too. "Oh! Hermione, Ron, remember when we were at the Ministry, with the glass balls and the prophecies?"

"Yes!" Hermione answered. "Harry, it makes sense!"

Annabeth waved her hands. "Hold on. The what?"

"The Ministry is the wizard government" Hermione explained.

"Harry is destined to kill Voldemort." Ron said.

"Yes, yes, I got that." Annabeth replied annoyed. "What I'm not following, is how you think this all works into the prophecy. Unless we have different ones..."

"We do." Harry said. "Well, sort of. Before I was born, there was this prophecy that someone born in July would defeat Voldemort. At least, that's the gist of it. The one now, I'm guessing goes hand in hand with that."

Annabeth nodded her head in understanding. "Back at camp, we have a friend who gives out prophecies, maybe she would know..." Annabeth trailed off seeing Percy's pained expression. "Percy?" She asked softly.

"Rachel, she's not at camp anymore."

"What do you mean?"

"After the war, she gave out our prophecy. After that, well, I'm not entirely sure exactly what happened, because I left-"

"You left!?"

Percy held up a hand, sadly smiling. "Yeah. Looking for you. Anyways, when I got back, Chiron said that Rachel wasn't the oracle anymore, that, for whatever reason, there was no oracle. I'm guessing that will definitely be a problem we'd have to solve," Percy and Annabeth chuckled lightly, "but for now we have our hands full."

Annabeth's face became focused on the nearby chair while she thought about what Percy said. "Piper has her dagger. Sometimes it helps..."

"Piper- she... she didn't make it."

Annabeth's eyes widened. "No..."

Percy nodded, barely able to keep it together. "Jason, Hazel, and Frank, they- they didn't make it either." His voice broke.

Annabeth covered her mouth and let out a sob. "...Leo?"

"He made it. He's okay. He got Calypso off the island."

"He did?" Percy nodded.

"And Nico, and Thalia, and Will, they're all okay too. Actually, Will and Nico are more than okay." Percy smiled, thinking of the couple.

Annabeth narrowed her watering eyes. "What do you mean?" She sniffled.

"They're dating. Solangelo, everyone calls them. They're so cute together."

Annabeth wiped tears from her eyes and smiled. "Oh my gods. Nico happy? This I've got to see."

Percy laughed. "Oh gods... we need to IM Chiron!" Annabeth's eyes widened.

Both demigods looked towards McGonagall.

Minerva smiled. She's never seen Percy this happy. "Yes, yes, I have a drachma you may use."

"Thanks." Annabeth replied, shakily getting up to take the coin from McGonagall. "Percy?"

Percy nodded. He willed mist to form from McGonagall's tea (at this point she just really shouldn't have any near him) as Annabeth reflected light off a nearby piece of glass.

Harry, Ron, and Hermione continued to stare at Percy and Annabeth. They worked so well together. Like, without having to say anything they just knew what to do.

No wonder Percy wouldn't stop talking about her.

"Oh Fleecy, do me a solid, show me Chiron at Camp Half- Blood." Percy chanted. Annabeth chuckled at Percy's officialness.

Soon enough, Chiron's face materialized in front of Percy. The old centaur looked tired.

"Percy? Is everything alright?"

Percy grinned. "Yeah, everything's great. I just- we just wanted to share a bit of news with you." Percy grinned even wider.

"We?" Chiron asked.

Annabeth stepped out from behind Percy. With tears in her eyes, she smiled, "Hey Chiron."

Chiron froze. From behind him, Percy and Annabeth could hear voices. "Chiron? Who was that?" Nico called.

Him and Will walked into the frame and froze, staring at Annabeth.

"A- Annabeth?" Nico's voice wavered.

"Hey, Neeks." A tear rolled down Annabeth's cheek, as Percy comfortingly wrapped his arm around her. "It's been a while."

For the first time since Bianca, Percy saw Nico openly cry.

"You- you're alive. I, we thought you were dead." Nico sobbed into Will.

"Gods, I- I can't believe..." Will started before he choked up too.

Suddenly, Nico said, "We have to tell Thalia. Gods Annabeth she was so lost at your funeral... and when she heard you were missing..." Nico began to ramble. Will put his hand on his shoulder, to calm Nico down.

Chiron cleared his throat. "Annabeth, it is truly, very good to see you. We've missed you so much."

Annabeth sadly smiled. "I'm so sorry Chiron, if I could I would've..."

Chiron put his hand up. "Do not apologize my child. You did nothing wrong." Focusing his attention on Percy he said, "My boy, I'm sorry."

Percy smiled. "It's cool. No hard feelings."

Chiron chuckled.

"What happened? Where were you?" Nico asked.

Annabeth sighed. "It's a really long story, that unfortunately we don't have time for right now." Annabeth turned to Percy. "We've got a quest to finish. Afterwards. we'll come home to camp, and I'll explain everything- promise."

Nico and Will nodded. "We'll tell Leo and Thalia for you. Let them know you'll come home in a few months."

"Thanks." Percy said. "On that note, we should probably go."

Chiron, Nico, and Will chorused goodbyes as Annabeth swiped through the Iris Message.

Both demigods sighed. Glancing towards Harry, Ron, and Hermione, Percy and Annabeth realized they still had a while to go until the prophecy was completed. This was just the start.
