《Saving Wisdom and Wizards || PJO x HP Crossover》Chapter 4: The Burrow

With a crack, they appeared in front of a sideways looking shack.
"This...is the Burrow?"
"Yes, Percy." Dumbledore knocked on the door and a woman with frazzled red hair greeted them.
"Dumbledore!"
"Hello, Molly, it's good to see you. This is Percy."
Percy wasn't an idiot. He noticed the apprehensive look she gave him, but passed it off as protective.
"Well come in dear, you must be cold." Molly gestured then inside the dimly lit hallway, and it was then Percy realized it had started drizzling. He didn't even need to focus on staying dry, it just happened.
"Everybody's at the Order Headquarters, but we thought it'd be nice to get you caught up to speed away from everyone." Molly gave him a warm smile.
"Thanks."
They walked into a living room, and sat down on the couch and chairs.
"Percy, why don't you tell Mrs. Weasley about yourself." Dumbledore said.
The demigod in question gave a sharp look towards him then started. "My full name is Perseus Jackson, but just call me Percy. I'm 19 and I live in Manhattan, New York. I'm a- uh, also a part time camp counselor."
"Well...Percy, do you know why you're here?"
Percy deadpanned, "You need me for a war I had no intentions on fighting."
Mrs. Weasley's eyebrows shot up and Dumbledore's wrinkled deepened. Percy wasn't going to lie, he didn't need to make friends. He needed to go back and keep searching for Annabeth.
"Percy, dear, we were told that you had connections that would be helpful and needed for us to succeed in the war." Molly hesitantly continued, "You're a powerful wizard Percy, you just need to unlock and train your potential."
Percy could try and see where she was coming from, but to him, it sounded all too familiar to when Luke tried to get him to betray his friends. To betray Annabeth.
"Look, Mrs. Weasley, I appreciate this. I do. But I didn't ask for this. I don't even want to be here. The only reason I am is because Dumbledore so kindly insisted that I be here, in order to protect your world."

"Our world, my boy." Dumbledore corrected. Percy stood up and glared at the old man.
"Don't call me 'your boy.' You didn't earn that. And to be honest, I don't trust you. You're hiding something and I can tell by the way you share side glances with Mrs. Weasley. So why don't you tell me what it is, or so help me, I will walk right out that door, and I won't look back."
The Burrow was silent following Percy's outburst. Percy slowly removed his hand from Riptide, unaware that he even pulled it out in the first place. Luckily, he never uncapped it so Molly never saw his sword.
Mrs. Weasley was stunned. This was not the boy that Dumbledore had described to her days prior, this was a man who had been through hardships that she could never imagine. This was a wizard who had never learned the truth.
Dumbledore looked back towards Percy to see him defensively standing next to the chair. Dumbledore watched him put his pen back into his pocket, and cross his arms glaring at the old headmaster. He should have known Chiron was right. Percy was broken, but that didn't mean his battle instincts were dull. They were sharper than ever. And right now, Dumbledore had set the young demigod on edge.
"You're right, Perseus. I have not been entirely honest with you." Percy held back his comments, allowing Dumbledore to continue. "I am sure you are aware of the prophecy. Yes?" Percy nodded. He's known about the prophecy since immediately after the Giant War had ended. it plagued him, and Annabeth wasn't there to help.
"Yes, well- Molly, would you mind giving us a minute? I need to speak with Percy in private."
"Oh, of course. Take all the time you need dears."
Percy nodded in thanks, then slowly sat down and looked towards Dumbledore expectantly. Once Mrs. Weasley left, Dumbledore continued.
"Percy, I have not told you the main reason I brought you here," he hesitated, "there's no easy way to say this, and you know I'm not one for subtlety."

"You're stalling."
"And you're the grandson of Voldemort, Percy."
Percy heard a lot of crap that day but that was what got him. His eyes widened, and he got major Dejavu from when he found out Kronos was his evil grandpa. Or rather, other evil grandpa.
"Wait so, not only am I a demigod son of Poseidon, but I'm a wizard... wait that means my mom- Sally- she's a wizard!" Percy was floored. How did he not understand that sooner?
"In a way. You're mother, she's a squib- A child born from a witch and wizard, yet has no magic- but it seems you're more powerful than ever."
"Wait," Percy was still trying to wrap his head around this whole 'you have another evil grandpa' sort of thing. "So, my grandfather on my mom's side, he's Voldewart? The guy who's killing everyone and wreaking havoc?"
"Voldemort. And yes. That 'guy'." Dumbledore corrected. He wasn't going to lie, Percy's shock was slightly amusing.
"Whatever. Is that why Mrs. Weasley was apprehensive about letting me into her home? Because she thinks I'm dangerous?"
"Yes."
"Who else knows about this?" Percy asked.
"Harry Potter and his friends."
"Who the Hades is Harry Potter?"
"Oh dear, it seems I've left that out."
Percy glared at him.
Dumbledore went on to explain how 17 years ago, a boy named Harry Potter survived the killing curse and since then, Voldemort has been gaining strength and waiting to attack Harry "the boy who lived" Potter. All because of a prophecy. That, Percy could relate to all too well.
Percy thought that Dumbledore was vague, to say the least. For one, he never went into detail about Harry's encounters with Voldemort (which apparently he shouldn't even be saying) throughout his time at Hogwarts. Dumbledore then briefly went over the houses: Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Slytherin, and Ravenclaw.
Every so often, Percy would butt in with a question, such as: "So which house would I be in?"
"That is not for me to say." Dumbledore would reply, then go on to talking about Percy's school supplies.
After about a half hour of Q & A with Dumbledore, Percy had had enough. No more beating around the bush, he asked the old wizard why he was there.
"The reason you are here is to aid Hogwarts in its battle against Voldemort."
A straight answer. One he already knew.
"You are incredibly powerful, not just as a demigod, but as a wizard. Should you choose to accept, Hecate will grant you all of the knowledge that a seventh year wizard should have. You will go to Hogwarts and help Harry and his friends defeat Voldemort." Dumbledore explained.
Percy knew that he had to accept. He completes this quest, and Dumbledore will owe him a favor. A favor that he could use to find Annabeth.
Percy sighed. "Okay. I'll help you- but on one condition," he paused, "when we win, you'll owe me a favor... no questions asked."
Dumbledore agreed.
Mrs. Weasley, who had been listening in on the conversation, walked back into the room.
"Are we all settled? Percy, dear, are you ready to go to the Order's Headquarters?"
"Yes, Mrs. Weasley. Thank you." Percy stood up, with Dumbledore following suit.
"How are we getting there?"
"Dumbledore will be apparating us there."
Within seconds, Percy found himself, the headmaster, and Mrs. Weasley at the front of an old building.
Dumbledore handed Percy a piece of parchment and told him to memorize it.
"I'm dyslexic." Mrs. Weasley looked at him, in what he prayed to the gods wasn't pity.
"That's alright dear. You won't be needing to come back here anyways."
Dumbledore took out his wand and tapped the building in front of them. Suddenly, the building split in half and grew to both sides.
Percy had never seen that before, and was (not that he would tell them) impressed.
Once the building stopped moving, Dumbledore gestured them inside the door.

Almost a Good Person
A memory, a memory of a boy who wanted more than pain, of a girl who wanted more than death, and an Isle that should not exist. The Isle of Red is a small, unassuming, quiet place. It is just large enough for a college, a small town, and maybe even a few more unusual sorts of places. Of course, the townsfolk practically know each other as family. Flush-faced regulars can be found toasting just about anything in the Briar's Brew, then, a few streets away, the same haggle of older women stationed themselves on their perch as they did every day from one of the few balconies in Central Square. They fuss away now, spouting the usual gossip as they watch us all from on high. Then there is the College here on the Isle of Red. My college. It has been often described as an unusual place by a good deal of people on the mainland. If they only would visit -why I am sure they'll soon have a change of heart, they may even come to find it a quaint sort of place, odd but in the same way a tattered old quilt can be both odd looking and warm, and especially soft. We teach mostly the same sort of disciplines here, with fantastic and absolutely normal professors.I must conclude that I am quite smitten with myself. The stage is set with a level of perfection that would have astonished me in my youth. They are coming. Derek will follow her. He knows the weight of reality too intimately, but she will be his true north if only for a short time. A beacon in the storm to show him the stunning pastels and brightness the sun may yet refract through his thinner, sharper pieces. Theoline will lead as she always has- well not always, not yet. She holds onto questions feverishly tight, that one. Lights them up inside like a new type of fuel without the slightest worry of being burned. She knows... There is but a certain few who can look at a map and find nothing where I stand but the Atlantic Ocean. And still, there is earth beneath me, a noisy pub down the road from me, and several people clucking conspiratorially on a balcony above me. She knows... that the Isle of Red doesn't belong here. Neither, technically, do I. (Hello!
