Heyyy guys, for this chapter I'm going to show you how to make mockups which is pretty much your graphic on the front of a book to see how it would look like in real life. This is a pretty simple tutorial, there is another way to do it but I wanted to make a tutorial you can use even if you don't have photoshop.

1) Find a picture of a book, you can use whatever image you want this is just what I found.

2) Open up the graphic that you want on the cover and resize it to fit the front.

3) I set the opacity low enough so that I could see the book behind it. The reason for this is so that you can erase any part of the graphic that's hanging off.

4) I changed the color of the spine, I just colored it black and set the layer to hue. I also added a wood background for some reason (you can find way better images of books by the way then what I found).

That's really all, sorry for how sloppy it is but I wasn't really trying to make it look perfect. I'll leave the picture of the book that I used :)
