Here's a tutorial on how to split text and insert text in the middle, or just split text in general that's the big part of this tutorial. This was requested by @Storyofangels so this chapter is dedicated to her!

Program Used: Photoshop CC 2017

1) Open up whatever graphic you want to do this on, I used a blank background just for the purpose of this tutorial

2) Type out the text you want to split

3) Click on the pen tool and mark where you want to cut it. I did mine a little tilted vertically but you can do it straight across.

4) Right click on the box you made around the word and click make selection. Then right click on the text layer and click rasterize layer.

5) You can then move the top layer freely wherever you want it.

6) Then if you want you can add another text layer and size it however you like it and put it in the middle of the split text.
