《Returning Darkness(Trollhunters 2016 Fanfic)✔》Training

Laying in my cave, weak, laying on my side, aches all over my body and the daylight cut aching even more as I laid there in pain. Breathing heavy, clutching Bular's horn in my palms near my cracked chest. The punishment isn't horrible, but it wasn't nice either. My body will need days to recover from it to function properly.
~
Limping in Troll market. Every gumm-gumm warrior looking at me with either pity or anger that I failed my father, growling at everyone as I tried to make my way to the Hero's forge. I didn't care who watched me train. I was going to train. Slamming the button on the far side, the room growing, axes swinging. Running on all fours, dodging the obstacles.
Many gumm-gumm came to watch above. Their spears still at attention if Gunmar, Usurna, or Dictatious came walking by to watch as well. My limp leg, gave out, falling onto my stomach, many growls coming from above. Growling myself as I got back up running harder dodging axes as they swung at me.
Skidding against the ground, dust filling the air as I landed on one knee breathing hard. Dictatious and Usurna there on their own ledge watching. Growling more as someone ordered Gumm-Gumm warriors to start attacking, holding nothing back. Drawing both swords trying to stand, but to fall back down from my leg.
Growling again, getting up with a grunt, just missing the spear that grazed over my head, kicking his legs from underneath him. Throwing him over the ledge to not kill him. Placing my swords into the ground beneath me, dodging the huge axe as it swung once more at me. Dodging another Gumm-Gumm as he threw a punch at me. Going low swiping my short tail underneath him tripping him. Jumping back grabbing him by the helmet and throwing him into the gears.

Breathing hard, clutching my leg only to get kicked in my bad leg, getting thrown off the top of the forge. Falling to the ground with a grunt, getting myself up rolling to the right to miss a blade coming out from the ground, Gumm-Gumm's charging at full speed. Shakily getting up charging on all fours head butting one in the stomach throwing him back, throwing my body at another, head butting another, punching another and another until all of them were on the floor clutching their bodies under their green claws.
Looking up seeing father walk away from the ledge, Usurna and Dictatious following close behind him as he grew away from my view. My heart began to feel empty. Looking down at my limp leg that my hand went to clutch. Growling once more, stomping off not caring about the pain in my leg that screamed everytime I put pressure on it.
Climbing up the stairs that led to my cave, Usurna's not far, nor Dictatious'. My father's cave was the biggest from all of ours, his closets and having a view to the Heart stone. Walking into my cave pulling my blades off my aching back. Throwing them against the wall as I sat down against the farthest wall from the entrance, resting my head against the stone wall. Taking a deep breath to calm myself down.
"You performed excellently, my daughter." Gunmar's voice scared me to attention, walking forward bowing deep on my good knee. "Thank you, my Dark underlord." I said not looking up as he stood there with his only eye staring at me through my black solid hair. "Rise, you are coming with me to find something." he spoke calmly before walking out without saying another word, following close behind him as we made our way to the library of the troll market.

Fallout: Vault X
An original novel set in the Fallout universe, written to be accessible to all, featuring unique people and places. Vol.II. out now Fallout: Vault X tells the story of John. A vault dweller, who spent every day of his twenty five years underground. Like his father, and his father before him. Proud to live in the last remaining bastion of humanity, all that survived The Great War of the atomic age. Hidden deep below the surface of the earth, toiling under brutal conditions. Year after year, decade upon decade. All to expand into the natural cave system the Vault occupied, building for the future. However, John knew what his forefathers did not, that everything he’d been taught was a lie. After finishing school at the age of ten, John received his standard issue pipboy. An arm mounted personal computer, worn by everyone in the Vault. Used to coordinate the relentless pace of expansion, needed to work as an apprentice. To learn the craft that would be his life’s work. A noble calling to ensure a future for all that remained of the human race. A quirk of fate saw John equipped not with the crude, clunky, pipboy model his father wore. That almost everyone around him wore. His looked smaller, sleeker, finished in a jet black sheen. And capable of doing far more than its drab counterparts. The world above had been ravaged by atomic flames, yet life clung to its bones. The Red Valley fared better than most in the century since the bombs fell. The clean water and rich soil protected by rolling hills. All spared from direct strikes, for the most part. Life survived here. Trees spawned from charred ground, misshapen, green leaves turned red. Along with simple crops, grown wild at first, then cultivated by the survivors. The scavengers of the old world were inventive, hardy people. All determined to rebuild in the ruins of a world they never knew. In the decades that passed settlements emerged. They grew, spreading along the valley floor. Reclaiming the pre-war remnants of the once industrialised heartland. Salvaging the robotic wonders of a bygone age to build their walls and work their fields. To protect them in the dark of the wasteland. But such things are uncommon in this world, and the rarer something is, the greater its value. And the worth of pre-war technology had not gone unnoticed. The last, real, power in this world rested in the mechanised hands of The Brotherhood of Steel. Forged from the mortally wounded old world military. The Brotherhood used its access to the weapons made for a conflict no one won to strike out into the wastes. Men and women were equipped with advanced armour, aerial transportation, high grade weaponry. Accompanied by the training, strength, and will, to put them to use. They established chapters and set up outputs far and wide. All dedicated to a single purpose. To ensure the technology left abandoned by its long dead creators didn’t fall into the wrong hands. Namely, any hands that were not their own. This is the world John escaped into. A place of horrors brought forth from atomic fire. A place where survival meant battling against the darkness. Fighting a war each day to get to the next. And war...war never changes

Tavern Cat
Dying and being reborn in a fantasy world as a hero destined to kill the Demon King to prevent a great war is some people's greatest dream. Others, however, may prefer to sit around, relax, take a few naps, and ignore the impending doom. And hey, if such a 'hero' gets reborn as a cat, what's gonna stop them from doing all that? Finding a warm home filled with food, gossip, and comfort sounds a whole lot easier than putting in the work to stop a war. Updating weekly, allegedly.
