"Hello" an unexpected guest showed up at the door. "Is Hoseok home?"
If this boy really knew Hobi, he should've also known that he was at work but nevertheless I ignored my tingling senses and denied.
"Aww too bad" he looked around, pouting. "Can I come in? I'm his friend" I didn't really trust that guy at all since Hoseok never mentioned me anything regarding this 'friend' of him.
"Aren't you gonna let me in?" he teasingly questioned, figuring I was doubtful.
"Oh well" the suspicious stranger smiled still standing in front of the door.
"Anyways my name is Daehwan nice to meet you"
Daehwan...Daehwan.... why do I feel like I've heard-
Suddenly my face lit up in remembrance.
"Yea" he grinned brightly understanding I had realized that he was really Hobi's friend and ignored the fact that I was being mannerless, making him stand on the door like that.
I made him come in and I didn't really know how to treat guests yet did my best to do the least.
"So... aren't you gonna tell me your name?" he curiously eyed me while sipping on some coffee.
I hated facing these kind of out of hand situations for me, like, I clearly had my own limits, but still other people's reactions are what scared me the most.
"Ok then...come on sit here" he patted a spot next to him. "Don't be shyy"
I trusted Hoseok's friends but something about him seriously bothered me.
He looked completely normal yet there was something in his eyes...
"Ok if you don't wanna talk I will" Daehwan flashed his never-ending smile.
"I've never seen you before are you new around here?" he questioned so I could nod or shake my head, so I nodded.
"Oh really I wonder where are you from...can I make a guess?" he questioned getting all excited after I shrugged my shoulders.

"Busan?" was his first try.
I shook my head, already knowing he'll never get it.
"Seoul?" yet again I denied as he pouted being wrong for the second time.
"Gwangju?" this time my lips cracked into a smile, giving Daehwan high hopes but I answered no again.
"Are you even korean?" was his probably last try before receiving another rejection from me.
"REALLY??" his eyes widened as he leaned closer.
I had seemed to suddenly pick up his interest somehow.
I slightly chuckled at his cute surprised expression.
"Then where are you from?" he questioned with a tone full of excitement.
Let's say my suspicions were starting to slowly disappear.
I was about to answer when someone opened the door.
I peeked over to see who it was and well...
Speak of the devil
Hobi returned home with a handful of groceries mumbling something like the others should've bought all of this.
As soon as he noticed Daehwan, both of them approached each other with huge smiles upon their faces and hugged, as if the two boys hadn't met in a while.
"Heyy what's up it's been long" Daehwan sounded like a very easy going and chill person.
"It's really been a while maan how you've been?" Hobi replied carefully putting the bags on the floor.
I, as discretely as possible, tried to pick them up and place everthing in the right places in the kitchen but the bags were too heavy for me to even move.
"Jiji, although you may already have acquainted with him by now, he's Daehwan" Hobi proudly smiled while presenting his close friend.
"And Daehwan this is Jessie-"
"SHE is JESSIE??" J-hope abruptly got interrupted. "AS IN JIJI??" his friend widened his eyes, pointing his index finger at me.

What was that?
Am I famous?
"Let me tell you this dude never stops talking about you" Daehwan nonchalantly complained, taking for granted I was a super fan of "this dude".
My cheeks flushed blood red as I tried to glimpse at Hoseok's reaction, both of our eyes met and he blushed like me, if not even more, while waving his hands, shaking his head violently at the same time.
Ok it was super cute.
His face was literally a mixture of embarrassment and shock, and it just made my heart drop even lower because him becoming so shy meant that the information Daehwan gave us was undeniably true.
Oh my god don't tell me- OHMYGOOD OH M Y
Only the thought of Jung Hoseok liking me, made me totally insane because it was too unreal for me to even imagine something so dreamy.
Yes, I may have known him for a few months and yes, we may have become pretty close friends but he was still Hoseok, J-hope, an idol, he couldn't possibly fall for me.
But now that I think about it, I should've foreseen that at a certain point we both might feel something mutual.
Of course we might be attracted to each other but it's only because he's a boy and I'm a girl, it's normal.
I just hope we both don't fall in this thing called 'love', at that point it'd become seriously problematic.
I need to stay away from him- no that'd just make things more awkward ugh what do I do.
"He keeps on saying how cute-" this time Daehwan was the one being cut by Hobi putting a hand on his mouth to shut the poor boy up.
"I think you've said enough" and dragging his friend he said with an agitated tone "Let's go to my room probably it's better"
So Daehwan was forced till his room.
Suddenly, as I kept standing there, still astonished about what I had discovered, just before closing the door when Hobi had let him go, Daehwan shouted
"JIJI HE'S CRAZY FOR YOUU"
