Later that night, a shrieking Park Bom who was dragging a shy Choi Seunghyun showed up in front of Jiyong’s unit. “Jiyong! Where’s Dara?! Is she here?! God, her phone’s turned off and I don’t know whe–”

“Whoa, noona, relax,” Jiyong answered coolly. “Dee’s here. C’mon in.” He added and opened the door wider to accommodate Bom and TOP.

As soon as Bom saw Dara, she immediately forgot about her boyfriend and transformed into a mother hen. “YAH PARK SANDARA! Do you know how worried I was about you?! I called you a million times but you weren’t answering and suddenly your phone’s turned off! Jesus, Sandara, can you stop scaring people like that?!”

Dara only chuckled at Bom’s distress, earning her a smack on the head. “Bommie-yah, I’m okay. I managed to get through the day without getting killed.”

“Pabo,” the older woman answered sulkily as she took a seat next to Dara. “I thought you were already killed by the media, you stupid, stupid girl.” She said as she puffed her cheeks in annoyance.

Dara poked Bom repeatedly to make the mood lighter. “Yah, didn’t you see already? Your Dara’s fine, no need to worry, arasso?!”

TOP who sat on the couch opposite to theirs spoke. “What are your plans now, then? Since this is out–”

“OH MY GOD.” Bom shrieked, her eyes focused on the shining diamond worn on Dara’s left hand. She turned to look at Dara, her jaws dropped and her eyes wide as saucers. “Is that what I think it is–?”

That was when Jiyong came back from the kitchen and placed drinks on the center table. He then smirked smugly at TOP who was also gaping at the ring. The younger guy patted his hyung’s shoulder in a mock attempt to soothe him. “Mianhae hyung, but it seems like we’re getting married first.”

“YAHHHH!” Bom yelled, standing up. She pointed a finger at both Dara and Jiyong. “Yah! How could you guys do this to us?! You’re even marrying before us...”

“Tabi-yah, looks like Bommie’s giving you a hint already!” Dara exclaimed as she wiggled her eyebrows at TOP who only reddened. Truthfully, he was already planning to propose to Bom at his birthday on November so that they’d have the wedding on winter, when the snow was falling beautifully. TOP already planned out everything and he was already processing the things they need so that Bom won’t have to do much.

Seeing his hyung’s face, Jiyong knew something was up. He went over to Dara’s side and nudged her. “Babe, don’t ruin the surprise,” he whispered.

Dara looked at her questioningly, but soon she understood what he meant. She awkwardly turned to Bom as she rubbed her nape. “Bommie-yah, mian... It’s just...”

Jiyong was the one who explained to the other couple on how they came down to marriage. TOP, who was familiar with those kinds of things seeing that he was an effective marketing leader, understood things from how Kim Kibum explained it. “Yeah, that guy had a point, Ji. Besides, everything will eventually lead to this, right?”

“Well, yeah,” Bom nodded slowly. “If you say it like that, it does make sense.” She smiled to Dara and hugged her. “You pabo. I’m so glad!”

“Bom noona, why are you the one tearing up?!” Jiyong joked. Bom was even more emotional than Dara when he proposed.

Bom grabbed Jiyong and placed him in a headlock. “Tch. I’m your biggest fan! We were the ones who watched through your every journey. Of course I’d be the happiest person in the world now that the two of you are finally getting married!” She exclaimed.

“Ouch, ouch, noona, it hurts!!!” Jiyong wailed like a little child and that was the only time when Bom let him go.

Bom was laughing while Jiyong was sulking as he rubbed his neck. “Seriously though, when will you meet Dara’s family?” TOP reminded. “You’re not really in their good books especially since you suddenly went away like that.”

Jiyong sighed as Dara squeezed his hand to assure him that everything will turn out fine. “We’ll go there tomorrow, hyung. I don’t want to announce the marriage until jangin eoreun and jangmonim agrees.”

“And there’s still Durami and Sanghyun.” Bom added.

“Don’t worry too much, Ji. They loved you before, they were just put off because they thought you left Dara noona just like that. As soon as you explain things, I’m sure they’ll understand.” TOP commented and offered a smile to his dongsaeng.

Jiyong smiled back and was about to reply when his phone rang. Seeing that it was his mother, he excused himself and went to the other room. “Hello eomeoni?”

“Jiyong!” Madame Kwon greeted. “How are things going? What will you do now?”

“Calm down, eomeoni. We already have a plan.” Jiyong replied to pacify his mother.

“What plan, Jiyong? You know how vicious those media people can be! They even bugged us even though they knew that your father–”

“Eomeoni,” he cut her off, his voice soft. “Eomeoni, Dara and I are planning to get married.”

“Ge– get married?!” Madame Kwon choked on her words. “But... isn’t this so soon?”

Jiyong sighed. “Eomeoni, I understand that you might be surprised, but didn’t I tell you that Dara and I go way back?”

“I just don’t want you to regret your decision, Jiyong-ah,” his mother’s voice gentled. “Don’t get too pressured with the media peo–”

“Eomeoni, don’t worry about me. I’m a big guy now. Besides, even though it didn’t happen this way, I’m a hundred and one percent sure that I’d still marry Dara. There’s no one else to tame Kwon Jiyong other than her, eomeoni.” His voice audibly softened as he talked about his fiancée.

Madame Kwon didn’t say anything more. “If you love her that much, then okay. I’ll support you, Jiyong.”

“Thank you, eomeoni.”

After they hung up the phone, Jiyong went back to the living room and found that Dara was already asleep leaning on Bom’s shoulder. “Jiyong-ah, I think Dara’s very tired today.” Bom told him in a hushed voice so as not to awaken the sleeping beauty. “Just let her stay here for the night and send her home tomorrow.”

Jiyong jogged towards the couch to gently remove Dara’s head on Bom’s and replace it with his. Bom and TOP stood up together. “Don’t bother seeing us out, Ji.” TOP said. “We’ll see you soon.”

“Yah, make sure to include me in the wedding preparations, neh?” Bom threatened. Jiyong chuckled but stopped as soon as Dara stirred. “Arasso, noona.”

The other couple bade another goodbye before walking out. Jiyong turned to look at the girl who was sleeping beside him. He gently scooped her up so he won’t wake her and brought her to his bedroom. He lay her down and blanketed her before kissing her on the forehead. Dara noona, thank you.

--

Dara was woken up by a kiss on her lips. “Good morning, babe,” Jiyong greeted as he set down a tray in front of her when she sat up. “Breakfast in bed?”

She smiled. “Jiyong-ah, what about work?”

“Don’t worry babe, I already called Mr. Jang and told him that you won’t be going to work today.” He nonchalantly said as he picked up the spoon and tried to feed Dara. “Say ahhh~”

“What?! You called Mr. Jang?!” She exclaimed, trying to avoid the spoonful of food but he already shoved it inside her mouth as soon as she opened it. She was forced to chew it down as she waited for his explanation.

He shrugged. “Yeah, I used your phone–”

“MWOH?!” She exclaimed, her eyes bulging.

“–to call him, so I think he already understands.” He finished as if Dara didn’t say anything, and scooped another spoonful of food to feed her.

Dara could only glare at him, not that she could do anything else. Jiyong only gave her a sweet, boyish smile and she could already feel her anger ebbing away. She really got it bad for Kwon Jiyong. Only one smile makes everything go away...

When she finished eating– or rather when he was finished feeding her, she went to the shower, completely oblivious to the fact that she doesn’t have any spare clothing. She only realized it when she was done showering and was about to pick her clothes. Omo, ottokae?! I don’t have any clothes!

“Tsk tsk,” Jiyong made a disapproving sound. “I already told you to bring some of your stuffs here. Or maybe we should just live together?” He added thoughtfully. “Anyway, here are clothes. I made my secretary pick them out, so there shouldn’t be any problem.” He said and tossed her a paper bag.

“Thank you,” she answered before going inside his walk-in closet to change. When she opened the paper bag’s contents, she was abashed to see that the set of clothes inside were far from summer clothes! A long-sleeved shirt was in there along with a tight-fitted pants, which was stylish yes, but you couldn’t deny that pants are far from the trend when it’s summer. To further add to the effect, even a cardigan was thrown in! There was also a strawberry-printed brassiere and underwear which made Dara blush. Knowing that she doesn’t have any option left, she quickly donned on the clothes.

When she stepped out of the closet, Jiyong examined her look. “Hmm, I should commend my secretary for paying attention to my wishes.” He said as he stepped closer to Dara. To her surprise, he suddenly leaned down on her neck, his warm breath tickling her skin. “Did she also buy the underwear design I wanted?” He asked, his voice husky, but beneath that was teasing.

Blushing, she pushed him away with all her might. “Pervert!” She yelled. “And why did you ask her to pick out a long-sleeved shirt and pants?! Ji, it’s summer! I should be wearing sleeveless shirt or even shorts!” She ranted.

Jiyong’s playful gaze suddenly turned cold. “Yah, do you want me to become a murderer?!”

She furrowed her brows in response. “Jeez Ji, I was only talking about my clothes–”

“EXACTLY, KWON DARA! Even now, you’re looking so delectable... what more if men see you exposing your skin, huh?!”

She rolled her eyes. “Kwon Jiyong, you’re exaggera–” Dara wasn’t even able to finish her sentence when Jiyong reached her in long strides and descended his mouth to hers. His kisses were savage and hungry, full of desire. His hand at her back pressed her closer to him, not wanting any space between to hinder them. He lightly bit her lip, and when she gasped in surprise, he quickly seized the moment and plunged his tongue inside her sweet lips. Dara moaned, feeling as if every bit of her was on fire.

In a second, he left her lips and started trailing wet kisses to her face, tracing wet kisses to her jaw line. His kisses trailed down to her neck, and he sucked on a sensitive spot on her neck. “Aaaah...” She moaned deliciously, not knowing how to suppress her moans with the glorious things Jiyong was doing to her. He sucked on it repeatedly, and he gave it one last lick before leaving it alone, satisfied with the bright red mark he left on her flawless neck.

Dara’s mind was still on a haze as Jiyong steadied her. “Now no one would ever think of making a move on you,” he stated, satisfied with his work.

That was the only time when she snapped out of it. She gingerly touched her neck, afraid of what was there. When her fingers landed on a little bump, her eyes widened as she looked at Jiyong who was looking smug.

“KWON JIYONGGGG!!!” She yelled as she ran after him to throw a shoe at his face.
