Santana ran around her room trying to figure out what to wear for tonight. She just got off of work and was fresh out the shower walking around in just a towel.
"Nelly!! Let me use your small white bag" she said running across the hall.
"Put some clothes on!!"
"Trae go home!!" She yelled back.
"Yeah it's in my closet just move his hats out the way"
Chanel was laid up in sweats and one of Trigga t shirt watching Love & Hip Hop:Hollywood.
"What are you wearing?"
"I have no idea and he is going to be here in forty fives minutes"
"I told yo ass to go shopping but you didn't want to listen-"
"I didn't have time I go to school and then to work right after"
"How are you gonna do your hair?"
"I don't know" she whined walking back to her room. Opening in her closet she skimmed through her clothes throwing stuff on her bed.
After about twenty minutes later she checked herself in the mirror one last time admiring her last minute outfit. She had on a v cut bodycon cream colored spaghetti strap dress that showed off her breast and curves perfectly, diamond earrings and the matching necklace and bracelet her aunt gave her, with olive green strap heels to top it off. Her hair was up in a neat bun that sat on top of her head with two curly strands that hung near her ears. She put on burgundy matte lipstick and spray herself with perfume before throwing on her peacoat and grabbing her bag.
"Woah woah where you going? Let me see what you got on?" Trigga said stopping her making Chanel giggle. Rolling her eyes she unbutton her jacket and open it revealing her outfit.
"Yass bitch!!" Chanel screamed. Santana laughed before closing it back up.
"Damn girl" Dex said eyeing her licking his lips.
"Dex" she chuckled throwing a pillow at him.
"I'm sorry but you bad as fuck" he said sipping on straight liquor. He was drunk so him talking to Santana right now was easy.
"Uh...."
"My fault you look beautiful Santana" he complimented.
"Thank you" she smiled. "Don't wait up for me"
"Uh oh-"
"I got my key"" she smirked cutting Trigga off before exiting the apartment and walking down a flights of steps.
"Hey"
"Wassup? You look beautiful" King complimented. He was wondering what she wearing under that coat

"Thank you-"
"I want her back at twelve no later!!" Trigga yelled from the window.
"Not twelve o' one or twelve ten!!" Chanel added.
"Aye bae bring me a doggy bag"
"Let's go" King chuckled opening the door hearing her giggle. She hopped in and sucked in the seat smelling the fresh clean scent.
"Where are you taking me?" She asked him once he hopped in.
"It's a surprise" he smiled showing off his famous pearly whites teeth. "Just relax" he demanded and that's what she did until she got to their destination.

"Good evening King right this way" the host said just when they enter the building of L'Ecole, a French restaurant. The host lead them to their table with a smile on her face before placing the menus and silverware down.
"Let me help you with your coat" King said. She turned around and unbutton her peacoat before letting him take it off.
"Damn" he whispered. She sat down and pulled her chair closer to the table.
"Welcome to L'Ecole can I offer you the finest wine?" A waiter asked coming to the them with a cart full of wine and water pitcher.
"Yeah she will have wine and I'll just have Henny on the rocks, straight"
"Okay sir and what kind of wine would you like mam?"
"Do you have something sweet and fruity?"
"The perfect one" he winked making her smile. He reached into his cart and pulled out a green bottle of wine before pouring it in her glass. He told them he will be right back with King drink and give them a few minutes to look over the menu.
"So you like poetry?"
"I'm gonna kill Trae" she said rolling her eyes.
"Why?" He chuckled.
"I know he told you that only him and Chanel know about me the most so...."
"He didn't tell me anything I seen your bookshelf" he told her truthfully. "I like poetry as well-"
"Yea right"
"You don't believe me?" He smirked.
"No I don't to be honest"
He shrugged his shoulders and continued to look at the menu ignoring her.
"Say something"
"Something" he joked making her chuckle.
"I'm serious say a poem"
"Putting me on the spot" he chuckled moving the menu looking at how serious she was.
"Love recognize no barriers. It jumps hurdles, leaps fences, penetrates walls to arrive at its destination full of hope" He said staring into her eyes. She cleared her throat before taking a sip of her wine.

"Maya Angelou" she said. "Impressive"
"Your turn"
She looked up at him for a few seconds thinking of a poem to say.
"Hold fast to dreams for if dreams die life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly"
"Hold fast to dreams for when dreams go life is a barren field frozen with snow" he said before she could finish.
"Langston Huges" he continued. "Impressive"
She felt her face growing warm as she stared at him for a few seconds before laughing to herself.
"You blushing" he teased as she begin to fan herself.
"Me? Blushing? Never" she said sarcastically making him chuckle. "I would have never guess"
"Don't judge a book by its cover" he smirked staring into her eyes for a few seconds before she went back to the menu.
"When did you start liking poetry?"
"My mother likes poetry so I grew up around it she used to make me read some for my punishment sometimes"
"Punishment?"
"Yes she knew I hated it" he chuckled. "But after a while it grew on me I started looking up more poets specially African Americans" he answered as she nodded her head.
"Your dad liked poetry too? Or just your mom?"
"No just my mom"
"Oh okay"
"What about your parents?"
"What about them?"
"They put you on to poetry-"
"Never knew my father and my mother died when I was five"
"Sorry to hear that"
"It's fine I moved in with my uncle and his wife and they were okay I guess"
"Were?"
"They died in a car accident three years ago I'll think I go with the uh chicken and shrimp pasta"
King just stared at her as she continued to flip through the menu trying to understand her.
"Why you looking at me?" She grinned.
"When did you start liking poetry?"
"At my mother's funeral there was a poem my uncle had printed out for her and I fell in love with it, one of my favorites" she mumbled behind the menu.
"Do you remember what it said?" He asked her.
"Uh no...it uh it was so long ago"
He stared at her watching her eyes wonder around the restaurant until her eyes landed on him with a slight of sadness in them.
"Are you ready to order?" The waiter came back. They told them what they wanted and enjoyed each other company getting to know one another eating their dinner.
"So you went to jail? Twice"
"When I was thirteen I went to juvie for a few months and then at twenty I got busted with Trigga and that when we did a couple of years together"
"Yeah I remember that year the guy was really trying to get ya to do twenty years for something ya didn't do"
"Yeah it be like that sometimes" He added. "So how long you been in school for?" He question changing the topic.
"Uh well I graduated high school at sixteen so right after that-"
"Wait hold up you graduated high school at sixteen?"
"Mmhmm"
"Beauty and brains" he complimented making her smile.
"You are so corny oh my gosh" she giggled.
"You like it though" he teased staring into her dark brown eyes. She couldn't help but smile.
Before they left the restaurant King brought a red rose from the host and gave it to her.
"You and these red roses" she giggled as they walked to the car hand and hand.
"Red roses has a lot of meaning to them"
"Oh yeah like what?"
"A dozen means gratitude, twenty five means congratulations, and fifty means unconditional love"
"You sure know a lot about roses"
"My uncle owns a florist shop uptown"
"Poppy Petals?"
"Yeah"
"Zeke is your uncle?"
"Yeah"
"He was really good friends with my aunt and uncle" she smiled looking at the rose. "What does one rose mean?"
"Love"
"What are you trying to say King?" She joked.
"That I love spending time with you" he chuckled making her laughing.
***
"Thank you I had a wonderful time" she told him once they reached her door.
"Your welcome" he said looking at her before kissing her lips. Grabbing her waist, pulling her body closer she kissed him back, allowing access, feeling a spark of electricity running through her body. She broke the kiss quickly pulling away seeing him with a smirk on his face.
"I'll see you around Santana" he said biting his bottom lip.
"Bye King" she smiled before walking inside seeing Dex knocked out on her sofa. She undid the straps on her heels before talking them off quietly making her way to her room bumping into Trigga.
"Ah shit" Trigga whispered. "You scared the shit outta me Tana"
"Sorry"
"You enjoyed yourself?"
"Yeah he's a uh-"
"He's what?" He chuckled.
"Different" she smiled looking at the rose he gave her.

I was Born the Unloved Twin
You've probably heard this sort of story before. Once upon a time, blah blah blah a boy and a girl fell love and everything was beautiful and perfect, except for this thing called life getting in their way. He was this cool foreign prince and she was basically perfect. Really it's a very boring run of the mill story. I'll even spoil it for you, they kill the villainess at the end. Not the type of story I'd read personally. So where do I fit into this?Apparently I'm her older twin sister and the very very lucky fiance to the foreign prince. You know, the dead villainess? Sucks I know. Now I get to do it all over again from the beginning.Curse my life ------ So you're somewhat interested in what this thing is about and looking to see if it's even worth reading? Let's get the worst of it out of the way first: This is a boring story, very tedious, mundane and downright just boring. It's too slow, the characters are too confusing & make possibly retarded choices. It's an isekai/reborn type Slice of Life novel that plays on the villainess noble girl trope but the MC gets no OP cheats, no magical powers, not even some satisfying face slapping or such self-fulfillment fantasy. Wow, I'm doing a terrible job advertising this thing. If you're somehow still interested, if you were ever interested how an average modern person, reborn with all their host's memories, could live out their life in this situation, mending personal relationships one step at a time, or wondered what happened in between all the time skips in other novels, maybe give Unloved Twin a try. This is an awkward novel, the pacing is slow, and there is no time skips. For some reason still, I really love this little story I'm making. Talk to me on: https://discord.gg/ARkSMFPbew

The Devil's own sins
Writer updates available for free on patreon. The following account, dear reader, is a recollection and retelling of the story of the first imp. The last devil born from the original primordial pit at the dawn of time, and the lowliest speck of that first generation. It recounts the tale of Thozronnath the pitiful and his steady rise from obscurity, perpetually stuck as a punching bag for his betters until the day hell itself spat him out. The information presented here is pieced together from eye-witness reports and second hand hearsay, sometimes from creatures with more than two hands. I can not tell you with any degree of accuracy how much of it is true as it begins long before our time and it's true ending lies far unto the future still. I can tell you one thing though, it was confusing as hell. Cover: Illustration for John Milton's Paradise Lost by Gustave Doré (1866), a thankfully public domain image. Currently on hiatus. She was running out of breath, but that didn't matter, all that mattered was getting away from him and proving him wrong. Branches scraped her face and her arms, her body burning hot; but cold from her sweat as the wind blew over her skin. Her pants soaked from running through the streams, her shirt ripped to shreds around her stomach from very low hanging branches. Her hair, a tumbling fiery mess of tangles, and waves slipping through the ponytail she had quickly fastened trying to tame her wild hair. All of a sudden a giant gust of wind flew past her nearly lifting her off the ground and throwing her into a tree. Where in the world did that wind come from? She thought, but she kept running like it had never happened. She jumped over a fallen log, ignoring the fact that she almost fell in the process. She zoomed past all the trees and sprinted over the roots coming out of the ground. She rounded another tree coming to a sudden halt at seeing him standing there with a drink in his hand laughing and joking. She stood there wondering how in the world he could have beaten her here; He looked at her then, He looked, well, handsome, his faced was clean shaven and his button up shirt was all unbuttoned minus the three at the bottom. She could still visibly see his bronze chest and the top of his ripped-hard abs. He walked over to her and smiled, showing all of his teeth, the smile reaching his eyes. His eyes were dark and stormy, their color was usually a nice honey brown but now his eyes looked mid-night black. They looked like they could kill a man at eighty paces, but could sweep a woman off her feet at the same time.
