"Did you enjoy your birthday?" Taylor asked Santana as they chat at the front desk. Today was slow so most of the ladies was either chatting, eating or cleaning up their stations.
"Yea it was fun my feet was killing me by the end of the night though" Santana answered watching the people walk pass the store.
"Heels can ruin your night that why I always bring a pair of flip flops or flats with me"
"You should've told me that before I would've took your advice" Santana mumbled. Still looking outside a white escalade pulled up blasting Goyard Bag by Fabolous ft Lil Uzi Vert getting everybody's attention from inside and outside the shop. A few seconds later Diamond hopped out and King came from around the corner.
"Diamond done got herself a new boo" Taylor mumbled as we secretly watching them hug. "This time she got King"
"What is that? The third one in the pass two weeks" I thought to myself looking away. I heard Taylor giggling counting the money in the register. "Okay miss Santana let me find out you be running your mouth just like the rest of us"
"Oh no I was jus-"
"Don't explain yourself girl you spoke the truth anyway she been changing niggas like she changes panties" she said lowly.
"And I don't think she changes them daily" Mickey, an employee, whispered before quickly walking away making them laugh.
King was watching Santana laugh with a thick Spanish chick inside the shop. Her beauty stood out to him ever since he laid eyes on her that night at the club.
Which surprised him was that she didn't seem like she was interested in him. Beside his boy Trigga, King was one of the top drug dealers in Detroit so everybody knew him. All the men wanted to be him and all the ladies wanted to be with him, married or not King had thousands of women throwing pussy at him. Shit, one time a girl was willing to leave her husband for him.
Just hearing the name King ladies eyes would gleam and their panties be drenched with pussy juices but Santana panties were dry as hell once King rolled off his tongue.
Her beauty was exotic. Her fairly almond color skin and thick curly hair caught his attention. Thick full lips and perfect round dark colored eyes that made her look evil as hell but she was far from it, he could tell when she was standing off by herself looking scared. Her body was perfect. She was thick in all the right places.

"You still picking me up tonight?" Diamond asked moving his head to face her with her pointer finger.
"Yea nine right?" He questioned biting down on his bottom lip.
"Yea don't forget King" she said waving her finger in his face but he quickly moved it.
"I won't man watch them fingers" he said staring at her coldly. She was taken back a little but tried to show no fear. She heard about how ruthless King was in the street but was still attractive to him and his money. She quickly pecked his lips before walking away.
Walking in the shop feeling like her shit don't stank, now that she was messing with one of the top dealers she couldn't help the smile that was plastered on her face. Diamond has been trying to get his attention ever since she could remember that night she went clubbing for Santana birthday she took the opportunity when she saw them talking. She knew Santana couldn't handle a nigga like King. To her, Santana was a scary ass stuck up bitch and she didn't feel the need to befriend her. She didn't like her so she didn't care how she felt when she took King from her on her birthday.
"Hey" she greeted going to her chair setting up her station.
"Wassup girl I see you" Nikki, Diamond best friend, said winking at her.
"Girl that is gonna be my husband. Watch" Diamond said pointing her finger in the air checking herself out in the mirror. Everything she was wearing King brought her and she couldn't wait to show it off at the shop.
"You sure about that?" Mickey questioned washing a clients hair. Some of the ladies chuckled on the low while other waiting for Diamond reaction.
"What you trying to say Mickey?" She asked.
"That you have a nigga every two weeks" Taylor add making the shop laugh lightly. It was true and Diamond couldn't deny it.
"Well if a nigga was throwing money at you you would be doing the same shit correct?" She responded as Nikki laughed high fiving her hand.
"Opening my legs to any guy who throws money at me?" Mickey questioned. "Nah I don't think I can do that"
"And that's why you are single Mickey" Diamond laughed.
Santana just sat back and watch the drama unfolded in front of her. She did what she always did best. Sat quickly and kept her comments to herself staying out of it.

"So niggas be testing me" King said circling a man he thought he could trust that was badly beaten tied to a chair. "Testing my knowledge, my power" he chuckled.
"Just listen to me please" the man cried spitting blood out with every word he spoke.
"I'm listening" King said. The man starting crying again pissing him off even more.
"Talk nigga!!!" He screamed. "No what fuck this Trigga throw me the bat"
Trigga picked up the metal bat and threw it to his childhood friend. King caught and twirled it around in his hand staring at his victim.
"Q you know what happens to niggas that steal right?" He question making the man cry again. King swung the bat hitting Q right in the face spit mix with blood flew out hitting the concrete floor next to him.
"That was only from me" King chuckled in his face. "Now you gotta deal with the rest" he laughed in a horrific way anybody could before walking away as the men, who was holding metal bats as well, walked closer to the chair.
Q screams couldn't be heard from the sound proof basement he had made under his warehouse. So the higher he went upstairs the less Q screamed could be heard. Opening the metal door he made is way from the back to the front seeing the rest of the crew him and Trigga created.
He said wassup to them and made his way outside waiting for his boy to finish up downstairs. His phone begin to ring and he seen it was Diamond calling. He let it ring a few more times before answering.
"Speak"
"Hey baby I'm just gonna catch a ride with Nikki I'm working late tonight"
"Iight cool want me to swing by later? You can put on that set I brought you"
"You already know I do" she giggled.
"Iight I swing over by midnight you think you can stay up for me?"
"Anything for you daddy" she answers seductively. They said their goodbyes before hanging up just when King saw his boys come out.
"Let's go man!!" He rushed. "I got shit to do tonight!!"
"Man fuck you and your plans!!" Trigga chuckled.

"Yoo I'm fucking high man" Trigga said as he took another pull on the fifth blunt they smoked. They just got done doing a drop and was now chilling in Trigga's car in his garage, hot boxing.
"Yoo about Chanel friend-"
"Who? Diamond?"
"Nah she just someone to fuck here and there I'm talking about Santana" he answered. Trigga started coughing quickly passing the blunt to his boy.
"Nah bruh she like my little sis she ain't really into men like us-"
"What you mean men like us?" King chuckled. Trigga turned his head and gave him a look making King laugh harder.
"Look bruh that girl got a good head on her shoulders head is always in the book-"
"I bet she do got a good head on her shoulders her lips juicy as fuck" King laughed.
"Who?" Dex questioned waking up from the back.
"Yo King I'm serious man-"
"Alright my fault man just wanna see what's up with her"
"She single if that what you are wondering-"
"Who single?" Dex, a young nigga from their crew asked from the backseat. Dex may be one of the youngest niggas in the crew but he was also one of the craziest. He the type to shoot first ask questions later. He don't show no mercy and that is why King liked and respect him the most out of the crew.
"Santana" Trigga answered.
"That was the birthday girl right? The one in all white?" Dex questioned. King and Trigga both nodded their heads. "Ooh she bad as fuck you seen the ass on her that shit was stupid phat" he added making the guys laughed.
"Yoo I'm telling ya my sis won't give y'all the time of day" Trigga laughed.
"Why not?"
"First of all Dex you nineteen too young for her-"
"Age ain't nothing but a numba' negro please"
"And second of all she not into this type of lifestyle-"
"Well then I'll introduce her" King said cutting him off.
"King man-"
"I won't hurt her I swear on my grandmothers grave" King said passing the blunt to him. "Just put me on that's it and we take it from there"
"Alright-"
"Aye that's fucked up yo cause that night I spotted her first she should be my bitch"
"But she won't be" King smirked.
"Whatever man pass that shit back here-"
"Nah little nigga you too high-"
"Man I'm never too high fucking around with y'all pass the shit" he snapped making Trigga and King laugh hysterically.

This story is being rewritten! The new version, A Price in Memory, can be found here. I highly suggest you read the new version as this one won't be completed. Also, there has been a lot of changes so you won't be able to continue with the other where this one left off. A soldier dies on a battlefield, his body broken but his mind at peace. He died for the only thing he truly cared about, his family. In a different world a talented mage completes his life’s work, an entire rebuilding of one of the greatest ancient spells, resurrection. Bypassing the stringent requirements, he attempts to make this great magic accessible to the masses, and by doing so earn his place in history. But lost to the passage of time is the reason for these requirements. Not to unnecessarily complicate this great magic, but to ensure the transfer of only mortal souls. For there are things that dwell in the realm of the dead that should never be allowed to cross over.
