《One Big Happy Vampire Family》Chapter Eighteen

When I woke up everything was quiet and I honestly didn't remember or care where I was, I just wanted to go back to sleep. I was dreaming about my brother. I miss him so much. What I wouldn't give to have him back.
Suddenly I feel tears begin to stream down my face so I reach up to rub them off and I end up elbowing someone in the face. They don't say anything so I flip around so that I can see who I hit.
Mark Anthony is sleeping beside me. I study his face for a moment just taking everything in. The color of his eyes, the shape of his nose, the way his facial hair grows, and the shape of his lips.
All of a sudden his eyes pop open, scaring the life out of me. I almost fall out of the bed but Mark Anthony grabs me by my shirt rolling me towards him.
"Are you okay?" Mark Anthony asks putting his lips about an inch away from mine, "You fainted yesterday."
I nod, "I think so, I don't remember fainting though."
He puts his forehead on mine, "I'm sure yesterday's conversation just worked you up."
I sit up quickly, "Yesterday?!"
"Yeah, you slept for almost a day." Mark Anthony says sitting up, "Oh yeah and it turns out the vampire hunters were bluffing about killing Chase and Becca. They turned up blackout drunk at some frat party in a completely different state."
I let out a breath of relief as I fall back onto the bed before looking around, "Why am I in your room?"
"I lied and said I was gonna go run some errands so they put you in here." He says putting one leg on each of my sides, "But I didn't have any errands."

Mark Anthony begins kissing my lips before my chin and then down my neck towards my chest.
The door opens and Tyler walks in before turning around walking out, "Ewwww! Get a room guys!"
Mark Anthony sighs before flipping off of me and lying on his back, "I'm gonna kill him."
"Don't." I laugh sitting up, "We can finish this another time, I'm hungry."
Mark Anthony puts his hand on my belly that's peaking up from my shirt, "I guess this little guy needs to eat."
I bite my lip to keep from crying.
He removes his hand from my belly and puts it on his crotch, "But so does this little guy."
Okay, mood ruined.
I reach behind me and I grab a pillow from behind my head before smacking Mark Anthony with it. He giggles like a girl as he rolls over and kisses my lips.
"You know you called your precious jewels little," I say before crawling out of bed.
"But you know they're not." Mark Anthony says putting his arms behind his head.
I shrug before walking towards the door.
He sits up just as I reach for the door, "Right?"
I glance back at him for a moment before walking out of the door.
"RILEY! Right!?" Mark Anthony yells from behind me.
Tyler raises his eyebrow, "What was that about?"
"Like you weren't listening in." I say pushing Tyler lightly.
He breaks out laughing, "You're right."
"I'm hungry, make me food peasant!"
Tyler bows, "Yes my queen, will it be sliced ham from the elusive pig on rye bread or chicken nuggets?"
I begin giggling like a maniac but I stay in character, "Chicken nuggets or it's off with your head!!"

He nods as we reach the stairs, "Yes my queen!"
"Does it look like these legs are made for walking!? Carry me you peasant!"
In one swoop Tyler picks me up, "Anything for you my dearest queen. Do you want me to massacre an entire village while I'm at it?"
"Do you have to ask?!" I say as Tyler speed runs down the stairs and into the kitchen before setting me on the counter.
I'm so glad becoming a bloodthirsty monster didn't change Tyler. He's the most amazing best friend I've ever had and I don't think anyone or anything could change that.
"Your food madame," Tyler says handing me a sandwich before jumping up on the counter next to me, "So have you thought about names?"
I shrug, "So far I only have Tyler Jr."
"Yeah, I changed my mind about that," Tyler says in a matter of fact tone, "I will not let you name our child that. I'll kidnap that thing and I'll hide it far far away if you ever think about naming it Tyler Jr."
"Deal."
