《Rosa Perri Gilbert》Chapter 2

After staying at the Boarding house and catching up with Caroline and Bonnie, and occasionally talking to the guys Elena drives us back home. I bring my stuff to my room with the help of Jeremy.
I put all my clothes away, well some of them, most of my clothes are dirty. It was about 4 in the afternoon but because of the major time difference I decided to go to sleep now.
I woke up to my phone going off, I looked at my clock and it said 9:13 a.m. Grabbing the phone I saw that Kat was calling, I answered her and immediately put her on speaker so I could still lay down on my pillows.
Me: Yes Kitty Kat?
Kat: Hey my beautiful best friend how are you?
Me: Tired. Wait its like midnight in Sydney what are you doing up?
Kat: Ethan and I were having a movie night and I just woke up 20 minutes ago.
Me: Oh cool, tell E I say HIII!!
Kat: Will do pumpkin, but I'll go now talk to you later!
Me: BYE!
I put my phone down and decided to get today started. I slipped out of bed, literally, my foot got caught on a blanket and I fell face first onto the floor (some graceful ballerina, huh?). Walking to my closet I was thinking what I would do today, there's not much I can do. Well there was always the Grill but, that was about it, I mean compared to Sydney, this place is boring. I was looking through my closet for an outfit and decided to wear this...
I walked down the stairs and into the kitchen grabbing a breakfast bar from the cabinet, "Hey Lena I'm going out," I shouted through the house not knowing where she was.
"Okay just be careful!" she yelled back. I was about to close the front door behind me when I heard Elena, "Wait! Hold on!" she ran down the stairs.
"Okay," I laughed looking at my sister strangely, "What is it?"

"Here I want you to wear this," she said holding a necklace out to me. The necklace was a golden crown with a golden chain, inside the crown was a crystal that had a plant or something impeded in it. It was absolutely beautiful.
"It's beautiful, Elena, but why?" I asked a little confused as to why she was giving me jewelry.
"Well mom and I got it for you as a congratulations present on getting into the Academy, after the accident I totally forgot about it until now. I know you didn't get your acceptance letter until after the accident but we both knew that you would get i-" I cut off her rant by pulling her into a hug.
"Thank you so much," I said still hugging her, "I love you Lena."
She sniffled, "I love you too Perr." She put the necklace on for me and we said our goodbyes as I left.
As I was on my walk I realized how much I miss this place. No matter how boring it can be, I still love it.
I was plugging my headphones in and picking a song when I bumped into what felt like a brick wall. I squealed and fell down, but before I hit the ground a pair of arms pulled me back up.
"Sorry there love, you okay?" a British voice asked. I looked up to see a pair of gorgeous brown eyes.
"Oh I'm so sorry I should have been looking where I was going," I said completely embarrassed. He chuckled, damn he's hot. Wait what, no.
"I guess we were both at fault then," he said smirking. I realized he still had his arms around me.
"Uh, you can let go of me now," I said sort of awkwardly.
"Oh right of course," he said blushing a little and taking his arms off of me.
"Ok well, bye," I stuttered turning to walk away but an arm stopped me.
"Wait I haven't seen you around here before, I'm Kol Mikaelson," he said smiling and holding his hand out.

"I just got back home, I'm Perri Gilbert," I answered taking his hand but instead of shaking it he kissed the top of my hand. Damn this guy is good.
"Did you say Gilbert? As in Elena?" he asked. Of course, Elena, guys always go for her.
"Yeah she's my older sister, Jeremy and I are twins," I said kind of disappointed.
"Really?" he asked confusedly, "You don't look at all a like."
"Yeah I get that a lot," I said looking away from him.
"Oh please don't take offense. I meant that as a compliment, I actually think you are extremely stunning," Kol said lifting me head up so I was looking into his captivating eyes. Jesus, he is so hot... I said that in my head right? Yeah, yeah I did.
"Thank you," I said playing withy fingers.
"You mentioned that you just got back home," Kol started, "If you don't mind me by asking, but where were you?"
I was about to tell him but my phone began ringing, "Sorry its my brother, I have to take this,"
ME: Yes brother?- I asked sarcastically.
Jeremy: Where are you? You aren't home! Are you okay? Who are you with? What are you doing?- he screamed into the phone.
Me: Jere, I'm fine, I just went for a walk okay? You could have just asked Elena where I was.
Jeremy: Oh okay good. Sorry. Well I see you later, but call me if anything happens okay?
I hung up with Jeremy, why was he being more protective than usual? He's acting really weird.
"Sorry about that," I said to Kol.
"Its quite alright love, I know how siblings can be, I have four myself," he told me chuckling.
"Wow, well you can't really be bored with that many siblings," I said.
"I guess that's one way to put it," Kol said smirking like he was laughing at an inside joke.
"Well I better get going before Jeremy calls a search party for me," I said smiling at him, "It was a pleasure meeting you." I waved goodbye to him and he did the same.
"The pleasure was all mine darling, I hope to see you soon. Farewell, Perri," Kol said kissing the top of my hand again and making me blush... again.
As I was walking back home Elena texted me asking me to meet her and the gang at the Salvatore Boarding house. Apparently there was something important she wanted to tell me. Well this can't be good.
After a very long walk I finally made it to the Boarding house. Walking in a noticed that all the same people were there from yesterday.
"Hey Elena whats up?" I asked suspiciously looking around at everyone, they all seemed on edge. I saw Damon whisper something to Stefan who just ignored him, that seemed to make Damon upset, as he glared at Stefan.
"Perri theres somethings we need to tell you," Caroline said slowly, "You might want to take a seat for this." Elena just looked away from me as I tried to catch her eye-line. Why wasn't she looking at me? She's the one who asked me to come here. But I did as Caroline advised and sat next to Jeremy on the couch.
We all sat there for a bit in really awkward silence, I swear you could probably reach out and touch the awkward, "Is someone gonna tell me what this is about or can I just go back home?" I asked getting a little aggravated.
Stefan sighed and leaned forward from where he was sitting, "Perri I know this is all going to sound completely crazy and impossible but just bare with us here okay?" he asked sincerely. I just simply nodded at him to continue.
"Well I guess I'll just come right out and say it," he said looking to Elena for any objections. She didn't say anything, "Okay here it goes... Vampires, werewolves, and witches exist."
Um.....What?

The story of a girl who finds her life is not what she wanted. So she gets another one. Schedule: Story has been completed. Book One is available free on Amazon and EPUB. Books Two to Five are out now. Final Book out soon. Chapters will be around 500-1000 words. This will not change so if you don't like reading very short chapters wait till the end of the week or even end of the month. This many chapters a week isn't easy to pull off so please bear that in mind. This is a VRMMORPG story, but the ones I've read tend to use VR as an excuse to get into a fantasy world and then don't really play up the game aspect other than pulling up a status screen every now and then. To me, MMOs are about more than the fantasy setting. Bugs, exploits, devs who don't understand their own game, OP classes, over the top nerfs, p2w, ridiculous RNG, cash shop fiasco, lockboxes, raging players, broken mechanics, limited bag space, tedious crafting and above all that, a company trying to squeeze money out if its playerbase while pretending they're just in the business of having fun. Of course, then there's the orcs and elves. This story is about finding yourself in a completely immersive fantasy game, but it's also about what a game like that would really be like.
