《Unknown || Ziam》Not bad after all

Liam pulled out his phone, waiting for Zayn's mum to finish up the cookies she had made.
you look good with that hickey on you baby boy
you better not wear something that'll cover it up.
I'm having fun talking to your mum, princess.
I really like her, way better than my mum. Aha.
Zayn frowned, glancing down at his phone reading the texts from him and shook his head ignoring the texts as he styles his hair up into his regular quiff and let out a frustration sigh when a strand of hair fell down to his forehead.
"Are you fucking kidding me." He groaned, grabbing the hair spray and held the strand as he sprayed it and he sighed in relief once it stayed.
He smiled, looking at himself in the mirror once more before grabbing his phone and locked it, placing it into his back pocket of his jeans.
come downstairs now, princess. I miss you already.
Zayn grabbed out his phone thinking that it'll either be Niall and Naughty Boy but to his luck it wasn't one of them. He rolled his eyes and texted back.
I'm on my way, sheesh. You saw me like 15 minutes ago, chill.
Zayn put his phone back away, sighing. He rubbed his jaw, walking down the stairs and into the kitchen seeing Liam and his mum laugh at something he was curious to know.
Trisha looked towards Zayn, her face lightening up at his son's appearance. "Hey, handsome. Come have some cookies, they're delicious. Liam likes them!"
Zayn raised his eyebrows and thought to himself. Oh no, mum already has grown to like Liam - who knows one day, mum will love Liam more than his own son.
Zayn rolled his eyes quickly before his mum could catch a glimpse of him doing it. He knew she hated eyes rolling since she thought that it was disrespectful.
Liam smirked behind his cup of coffee, watching Zayn and glanced at his mum who was handing him a plate of chocolate and chip cookies.

"Thanks mum." Zayn says, smiling a little at her and sat down on the chair across from Liam.
Zayn looked anywhere but Liam, chewing silently and enjoying the sweet treat.
Trisha raised her eyebrow, tilting her head to the side to see whether she wasn't seeing things on his son's neck.
She looked at him with a look, Zayn sighed understanding what her face expressions said.
"Who gave you that, dear? It wasn't there, this morning was it?" Trisha asked, looking at him and the hickey.
Zayn looked down, shrugging his shoulders and ate the last cookie on his plate and stared at the plate.
"Zayn?" Trisha said when Zayn hadn't replied to her question.
Zayn looked at her, fixing his collar and looked around the kitchen. "It's not what you think it is, I don't know how it got there. It's a bite, a bug must of bit me or something.."
Liam bit his lip, snickering enough for Trisha and Zayn to hear. They both looked at him weirdly and Liam cleared his throat, taking a sip of his coffee and avoided their stare.
Zayn rolled his eyes at Liam, his mum noticing. "Zayn." Zayn huffed and crossed his arms, leaning back against the chair.
Trisha shook her head lightly, knowing that it wasn't just a bug bite. Bug bites don't look like that, she wasn't stupid.
"They don't look like that, don't lie to me young man."
Zayn looked anywhere but his mum, though he would occasionally look at Liam with a glare.
He doesn't like lying, especially to his mum. He doesn't like it because he was bad at it, always making up stupid lies, making full of himself instead.
"I tripped and landed on this ball or something.."
Liam raised his eyebrows, looking at him with amusement with a smirk plastered across his face, he covered the smirk with the back of his hand, trying to hold in his laugh.

Trisha furrowed her eyebrows and looked at him. "What ball exactly? A ball that's a size of a nickel, is there such thing as a ball sized exactly like that?"
Liam pressed his lips into a thin line, biting his lower lip. Zayn glanced at him and slightly glared.
"Yes, mum. A small bouncy ball, duh?"
Trisha nodded, not believing him and Liam got up before she could say anything more.
He looked at his watched, clapping his hands together to get their both attention. "Well, we gotta go Zayn. We don't want to be late for our dinner reservation." Liam slightly lied.
Zayn looked up at him and barely nodded, praying that he's not taking him somewhere scary to the point that he will end up killed and get raped.
He got up as well as his mum to give him a tight hug. "Have fun tonight boys, text me if you're gonna stay at Liam's tonight."
Zayn looked at her questionable and Trisha shooed the both of them off, pushing them out of the door and shut the door immediately once they were out.
"We're here, princess." Liam parked the car up, looking over at Zayn who admired the lake and the very little restaurant just for the two.
Zayn mouth was agape, eyes a bit wide in surprise. He never really thought that Liam was this.. romantic. I guess he needs to know him more.
He really needs to stop judging a book by its cover.
"C'mon, babe." Liam nudged him, making him come back into reality.
Zayn shook his head and nodded, unbuckling and got out of the car. Liam did the same, watching Zayn admire the place even more.
He was right, he knew Zayn would like the little cute restaurant by the water and the mountains around the place. He thought it was too boring and he wouldn't like it but to what Zayn's reaction, he in fact loves it.
Zayn looked around more as they walk, walking beside Liam closely, not noticing and feeling Liam's hand resting on his lower back.
"Do you like it?" Liam asked, looking down at him as they both walked on the small bridge towards the little restaurant.
Zayn couldn't help but smile, nodding his head. "A lot, but wait. When did this exist?"
Liam chuckled and shrugged. "It didnt, never did. I hired people to do this just for us."
Zayn looked up at him with a shocked expression, mouth agape. "Really?"
Zayn was shocked, it must've cost him thousands for doing this just for tonight.
Liam nodded, opening the door for him and Zayn smiled, stepping in. He smiled more, looking around.
"Wow, it's even better looking inside. What's going to happen to this when we're done?"
Liam shrugged and looked around. "I'm not actually sure, getting rid of it I guess. It's your choice if you want to keep it."
Zayn shook his head and laughed lightly. "No, it's your choice. You bought this thing, you got it. Not me."
"I did this all for you, now would you like it to stay here or not?"
Zayn smiled, thinking Liam wasn't really that bad.
"Yeah, keep it. It's beautiful, don't want it to go to waste."
Liam nods, walking towards the table with Zayn following suit and Liam pulling out a chair for Zayn.
Zayn thanked him, sitting down and looked around admiring more. Liam sat across from Zayn, smiling at him fondly.
Zayn meet Liam's beautiful eyes, feeling nervous all of a sudden and feeling slightly awkward inside.
Liam flashed him a comfort smile, a smile that you can't help but smile back.
Zayn smiled back and thought, maybe Liam isn't that bad after all.
Shit as fucking ending, I'm very sorry :(
