The girls' room

Lisa's pov

"Please tell me you're not seriously considering going out with him, Stacey. He's such a douche." I'm referring to this kid named Sean. He graduated last year and he has a reputation for being a total dick. A real love 'em & leave 'em type, always on the lookout for his next conquest.

There's even a rumor that senior year he knocked a girl up and then bragged about screwing the receptionist at the clinic while she was getting the abortion. He is one of those guys who's totally hot and unfortunately, he knows it so he treats girls like shit because he knows he can get away with it. There's too many girls with low self-esteem willing to be treated like garbage by guys like Sean, just for the chance to be seen on his arm and hang with his crowd. I don't want my sister to be one of them.

"I can honestly say, Lisa, that I'm not considering dating Sean," Stacey replies smirking.

"That's because you already are. Right, cuz?" Julie gives Stacey a knowing look.

"I mean just look at him." Stacey shows us a shirtless selfie Sean sent to her phone.

"He is one tasty snack," Carrie says, surprising all of us with her lingering look at Sean's pic.

"Whoa! Where did that come from sis?" I ask Carrie, still in shock by her response. Carrie blushes embarrassed by the attention we're giving her and sheepishly shrugs her shoulders.

"It's always the quiet ones," Julie says shaking her head, smiling at Carrie.

"Can we get back to the matter at hand please?" I ask. "That is, if Carrie's done drooling over Stacey's loverboy."

"He's not my lover. Well, not yet anyway. From your lips to God's ears. Am I right, ladies?" Stacey looks to us for support of her lewd fantasy. She's not getting any encouragement from the three of us. "Really? No one? Come on! You can't deny he's gorgeous. Look how chiseled the boy is." Stacey holds out her phone again.

Stacey's pov

Sean and I met through his younger brother at an end of the year party he was throwing at their house. When he introduced us, there was an instant connection. We couldn't take our eyes off each other the entire night, even though we were both there with other people. Because of that, we didn't really get to talk that night but his brother gave me his Snap so we started messaging soon after.

Aside from the obvious reason I was attracted to Sean, his killer looks, there was something about him that just drew me in closer. He was forbidden fruit and I desperately wanted to take a bite. I can't explain why but I really wanted to be near him and get to know him, not just physically either. I mean who wouldn't want that? Look at the boy for chrissake.

I knew his reputation better than anyone but I sensed a loneliness behind his gorgeous face and smokin' hot body. He was danger personified. What was I sayin' before the hormones took over? Oh yeah, I felt a kinship. We were two misunderstood souls destined to meet and fall in love, or something less Romeo & Juliet or fairytale worthy.

I wanted to tame this wild stallion and by God, I was willing to die trying. I couldn't blame my sisters for wanting to protect me but they just didn't understand how I felt about Sean. I've never felt this way about a guy before.

I continue to scroll through my Sean pics.

"Let me see." Carrie rushes over to check them out.

"Down girl." I give Carrie a disapproving look. "You're not supposed to encourage her. What's got you so hot an' bothered anyway?"

"Relax, guys. I'm a big girl and I can take care of myself," Stacey says, without taking her eyes off her phone. She's still scrolling through pictures and showing Carrie and Julie the juicy ones.

"I have to admit, that is one fucking hot mistake to make," Julie says, staring at one of Sean's pics.

"Stacey, his hotness doesn't trump his douchieness. You have to know that. Ok?" I'm trying to get this wayward intervention back on track.

"Lisa's right, cuz. The guy's got a rep for being a jag, especially to his exes." Thankfully, Julie's back on my side, now that she's done leering at Sean's pics. Maybe Stacey will listen to her cousin since I don't seem to be getting through to her.

"Look, I'm not planning on becoming Mrs. Sean Douche and raising half a dozen douche hellions. I'm just lookin' to have some fun. I mean seriously, look at these abs. He's low key built. Am I right?" Stacey shows Carrie another shirtless Sean pic on her phone.

Sighing loudly, "You do know his last name isn't douche, right?" Julie asks, while closing her eyes and pinching the bridge of her nose.

"As much as I love all this sisterly and cousinly..." Stacey gives Julie a nod, "...concern, it's really none of your business who I date and I CAN handle this. Ok? So just drop it."

"I bet Mike and Shane would disagree that it's not their business." Yes I went there. "You know they would never let you date him."

"You WOULDN'T DARE tell them, Lisa! I would never and I mean NEVER EVER forgive you if you did. For your sake, I'm going to pretend you never made that threat."

"Don't bother, Lisa, I already tried," Julie says, shaking her head.

"I just don't want to see you get hurt, that's all," I say sadly, knowing Stacey's not going to change her mind. I just hope she doesn't regret her decision to date Sean.

Little did I know, I would actually be the one paying the price for their relationship.

Later that night

Stacey's pov

What my cousin and sisters don't know is that I plan on sneaking out tonight to hook-up with Sean. I haven't told them because I don't want to hear any more lectures about how I'm making a mistake by dating him. I mean, maybe I am but that's really none of their business.

Everyone is asleep now that it's 10:36pm so I text Sean to pick me up on the street beyond the woods, outside the grounds. As long as I'm quiet, I shouldn't have a problem leaving out the fire exit door that doesn't close all the way. I can zip through the woods pretty quickly so dodging the security guard won't be an issue.

I see Sean's blue Mustang as soon as I clear the woods. My heart skips a beat when he opens the passenger side door for me and I slide in next to him. He looks so fuckin' hot in his tight jeans and white Vans t-shirt with his gorgeous chocolate brown hair slicked back. Mmmm mmmm, come to mama.

"Stacey?" Sean jolts me back to reality.

"Yeah, uh sorry, what did you say?" I feel like such an idiot that he caught me drooling over him instead of listening.

Sean chuckles and flashes me his amazing smile that makes me forget all over again what we were talking about.

"I asked if you wanted to grab a drink or somethin' at McDonald's and then hang out at the park."

"Yeah sure, that sounds great," I say, staring into his beautiful brown eyes.

We grabbed some fries and drinks at McDonald's and headed for Memorial Park. No cap, it still makes me a little cringy coming here after what Shane did to my cousin in the dugout but Sean's hot enough to make me push those thoughts aside and focus on the here and now.

We sat on the swings as we ate and drank, mostly just chillin' and talkin' about our friends at school and stuff. Sean asked me about my family so I told him all about Mike, Shane, my cousin, and my sisters. Then we got into the whole NJC thing and Dr. Curtis and his charities and stuff.

Sean looked at his phone.

"Oh shit, it's almost one in the morning. I better get you home before one of your guardians kills me."

I couldn't believe it was that late already.

"I'm sorry, I rambled on for so long about myself. I feel really bad."

"Don't," Sean said, as he took my empty drink cup and tossed our trash. "I liked hearing about your family and stuff."

I couldn't help staring at his fine ass while he walked to the garbage can. Damn, that boy is hot.

As we got into his car, I said, "Maybe next time you can tell me about your sitch." I shyly looked away, hoping he didn't notice how embarrassed I was.

"Yeah sure, although my story's not nearly as interesting." Sean smiled at me with that mischievous grin that makes all the ladies weak in the knees, including me. He cranked up some tunes and we sped back to the Center enjoying the loud music and cool breeze blowing through the open windows.

When we got back to the spot where he picked me up, he turned the volume way down and said, "Are you sure you're gonna be alright gettin' back? I kinda hate leaving you here like this."

"Yeah, I'm fine. There's no way your loud ass car wouldn't wake everyone up if you dropped me in the lot," I smirked. Trying to avoid that whole awkward drop off moment, I opened my door and got out. "I'll see ya around."

"Yeah, see ya," Sean echoed.

I turned around after getting to the edge of the woods and caught him watching me walk away. I flashed him a sly smile and sashayed on, letting him enjoy the view.

I walked through the same fire exit door from which I originally left, on cloud nine grinning from ear to ear, until I ran smack dab into...
