I jump up out of my sleep, hearing noise from downstairs. I immediately got scared because Jasmine shouldn't even be here at this time of night.
So who could it be? Welp, I'm about to find out.
I slowly get out of my bed, making sure not to make any noise.
I breathe in and out, reassuring myself that I can do this. I grab my Jordan shoe for protection. I open up the door in a swift motion so it doesn't make any noise.
I move quickly downstairs making sure not to fall over anything.
I look for a shadow, or at least a person, and don't see anything. I suddenly feel arms wrap around my neck suffocating me.
I start to hit on their arms signaling them to release me but they didn't.
I felt something point against my back, that's when I stopped moving. I have never been so afraid in my life, I had to think of something quick.
"You really are a sight for sore eyes huh, no wonder Xander likes you." He spoke while dragging the gun along my back.
"Listen I don't know who you are but just let me go and I won't tell the cops about any of this," I said.
"You might not even live to see the day to tell anybody." He said slowly.
"If I do die, I just need to know who killed me," I said slowly as tears fallen my eyes.
"Well love I go by the name of Gunna." He said while sending shivers down my back but not in a good way.
"Well Gunna, if you must know, if I die, I'm not going to die without a fight," I said.
As soon as those words left my mouth, I jabbed him in the stomach as hard as I could. He let me go quickly, I turned around quickly kicking the gun out of his hand.
He looked up and he looked angry but I was mad. This nigga broke into my home, threatened me, and puts a gun to my back and thinks he's gonna walk out of here without a couple of bruises.
YEA I DONT THINK SO.
"You're tougher, then I thought you would be." He said.
I didn't say anything and he was even madder than before. He took long strides towards me and grabbed me by my necking shoving me into the wall.

I felt like I was drowning, even though I never drowned before. I clawed at his hands trying to get him to let go. My hands went to his face, I started to claw at his face, his eyes, you name it.
I refused to die like this. He finally loosened up on my neck, I pushed him making him fall on the floor.
I fell on the floor, breathing in and out. I look to the side to see him still laying on the floor. This is my chance, you can do this Zahara.
I crawled over towards the gun. Almost there. I felt his hands around my leg, flipping me over. I see him towering over me.
"Maybe, I might have a little fun with you." He said while smirking.
I know damn well he ain't talking bout what I think he talking bout.
He lowered himself down onto me. I start hitting this nigga back and forth.
"Let me go, you sick bitch," I said while punching him the hardest I can.
He grabbed my hands and put them above me. I was useless, he was gonna rape, I was gonna die. Tears started to fall down my eyes. I look up and see him grinning like a maniac.
I look above my hands and see the gun right above them. I feel him pull my pants down. No way and hell is he gonna take my dignity. I reach for the gun, you can do this.
I finally grabbed it, in a swift motion I shot him. He looked down at me, as I seen his eyes turn dull. That wasn't enough for me. I shot him again and again, until there weren't any more bullets inside the gun.
I push his dead body off of me. I slowly get up.
I just killed a man. I can not believe I just did that.
I make my way upstairs and head to the bathroom. I look up into the mirror and see blood splattered all over my clothes, my face, and most of all my hands.
I peel my clothes off my body and turn the shower on. I get inside the shower and just stood there. My body feels numb and I don't feel like myself.
I almost died tonight. The thought still feared me.
I watch the blood wash off my body and down the drain.

After changing into something, I grab a duffle bag and put some clothes inside of it. I don't know what I'm gonna do, but all I know is that I am a criminal. I killed a man.
I grab my phone and car keys and head downstairs.
I see his lifeless body laying on the floor. I rush to outside, not taking another look at the body.
I start my car and pull out of the driveway. I don't know where I'm going but I got to get away from here.
I pull up at this hotel 2 hours away from New York. I don't want anybody to find me.
This hotel doesn't cost much but it does look nice. I make my way inside and head to the front desk.
"Excuse me can I get a one-bedroom please?" I asked politely. I was drained and I wanted to be at a place I felt safe.
"Yes, how long will you be staying?" The lady at the front desk asked.
"A week," I said while pulling out my wallet.
"Okay, that will be $500." She said while smiling.
"Thank you," I said while giving her 5 $100 dollar bills.
She grabs the key and hands it to me.
"Your room is on the 2nd floor to the right." She said.
I grab my bag and head to the elevator. I get inside and push the button for the 2nd floor.
The elevator dings as I make it to the 2nd floor. I get out and make a right towards my room.
Room 218. I unlock the room and head inside. Turning the lights on, I'm surprised to see a very neat and clean looking room.
Of course, it's post to be clean but it's cheap so I didn't expect to see this. Welp, I'm glad I paid for a nice room.
I look at the bed and sigh. That bed looks so comfortable. I grab my phone and power it off, so nobody want be able to track me.
I grab a chair and put it up to the door and double-check to if its lock. I close the curtains. I'm safe for now, there are people probably after me for killing that man.
He probably had kids and a wife.
I peel my clothes off and hop on the bed. Wow, this is comfortable. I pulled the covers back and get under them and fall to sleep with tears falling from my eyes.
I make my way inside the house with quick strides. I texted Zahara a thousand times and this bitch will not pick up the phone. She bout to hear a mouth full from me.
"Zahara, bitch you can't pick up your phone!!" I yelled while walking into the kitchen looking in the refrigerator.
That hoe ate my chips. I walk inside the living on my phone.
"What the fuck?!!" I yelled once I seen a dead body on the floor.
I check to see if it's Zahara. Thank God it's not.
I walk back and forth. Contemplating what I should do. I'm bout to call Rico.
"Aye nigga you gone pick up your phone?" I said aggravated as fuck.
"Nah, because Jasmine crazy-ass tryna get me to go to therapy with her," Rico said.
"Nigga just pick up the fucking phone," I said.
"Fine you big ass baby." He said while putting his phone to his ear.
"Yo baby," Rico said.
"Say what now." He said while getting up quickly.
"What the fuck this nigga doing?" Rashawn mouthed to me.
I shrug my shoulders.
"Aye shit, we on the way," Rico said with a worried look on his face.
"Nigga why you look like somebody shitted in your cereal," Rashawn said while laughing.
"Y'all we need to go now." He said while grabbing his gun.
"What's wrong?" Rashawn said.
"Nigga it's a dead body at Jasmine and Zahara place and Zahara ain't there." He said.
That caught my attention real quick.
"Fuck you mean she ain't there," I said while standing up.
"I mean she ain't there, Jasmine called her phone and texted her and she ain't pick up," Rico said.
"Say no more," Rashawn said.
We all head to the car and got inside. I don't know what's this feeling in my stomach but I don't like it at fucking all.
"Aye imma call a cleanup crew," Rashawn said while typing on his phone.
"Yea do that," Rico said.
I drive as quick as I can. The quicker I found out what happen, the quicker say gone be home.
