《Only You♥️》Now what?

All set!
I once again took a look at the whole terrace and checked is anything was missing.
I wanted to surprise Avni.
So, I arranged a date for us on terrace.
There is no one at the mansion except for me & Avni.
I just hope she likes it!
I checked the time and it was already 7:00 p.m.
Why is she late?
I clearly regret telling her to stay late in the office for studying a few contracts because I wanted time for this.
I called her and the line went dead.
Fuck!
Frustratedly, I ran a hand through my hair.
I jogged towards the parking lot and started driving towards the office.
I just hope she is fine.
It was heavily raining outside.
While driving I saw a car parked at the side of the road and someone was standing behind the trunk of the car.
It was Avni's car.
I just took the umbrella and started running towards her.
"Avni" I called her.
She looked stuck her head out from the trunk and gave me a confused look.
I jogged towards her and held the umbrella over her head.
She was totally drenched by now.
She took the umbrella from me and I hugged her tightly.
"Where is your phone? I've been worrying soo much. I am sure going to have BP problems at very young age because of you." I said still holding her in my arms.
"Veer. There was no network due to heavy rains. And car's tyre just punctured." She said holding umbrella in one hand and using her other hand to seperate me.
"You'll catch cold. I am all drenched, Veer." She said and I broke the hug but still held her by the waist.
"Do you think I care?" I asked irritated.
That was when I noticed that she was wearing a saree and people walking around were eyeing her like a piece of meat because her saree was wet and she was looking fucking sexy!
This is not the time!
"Come, let's leave. I'll ask David to pick the car and deliver it." I said and held her hand.
"Are you sure? I don't want my car getting harmed. It is my baby." She said keeping her hand on the trunk.
I just rolled my eyes at her.
"If you think that the people crossing by should be alive and not be killed for looking at you then just hurry and get into my car." I said to her with a stern face.

She just sticked her tongue out to me and held my hand to move towards the car.
"Veer! Hold the umbrella. You are really tall, I can't hold it up to your height." She said pouting.
I just shook my head at her and took the umbrella from her and held her by waist close to me. Because she was wearing a saree my hand was on her bare waist my mind was absolutely running in several directions.
Control Veer!
"Out of all the days today that you decided to wear a saree, you are all drenched and looking so fucking hot." I whispered in her ears and she just looked at me with wide eyes.
She quickly opened the passenger's seat door and slipped in. I just laughed at her.
Closing the umbrella I entered the driver's seat and started the car.
"There's no one at home. Mom, Dad and Ruhi are visiting some relatives. Tanvi is with Adnya and Arnav is with his friends. So, I have you all to myself today." I said to her smriking.
She looked at me like she's seen a ghost.
"Are you alright? Did you hit your head somewhere?" She asked furrowing her eyebrows.
"Nope, Babe!" I said to her giving one of my best smiles.
"Babe? What's wrong with you? Since when did you start calling me that?" She asked still confused.
I wanted to laugh at her seeing her confused state.
Because today I was on cloud nine!
Finally I had gathered the courage to express my feelings to her and today nothing is going to stop me!
"You've sure as hell hit your head somewhere." She said shaking her head.
I don't if it was the How-am-I-going-to-handle-you shake or Why-did-I-get-married-to-you shake.
I parked the car and as we got off, I told her "The dinner is already ready. Just freshen up and come to the terrace." I said smiling.
"Terrace? Why terrace? We have a dining room." She asked confused.
God! Can't she just listen to me?
I just pushed her towards the washroom and said "If you ask anymore questions, I swear I'll enter in the washroom with you and personally make sure you are freshened." I said to her winking.
She just blushed crimson and hurried towards the washroom.
Brat!
"Wear a saree!" I yelled and she again yelled from the washroom
"Why?"
"Did you forget what I told you earlier? What will I do if you ask questions?" I asked her.
"Nothing! I'll be there in 10." She said and I just laughed.

She wasn't this nervous when sat on the mandap beside me.
I thought laughing.
I just changed and went towards the terrace.
I stood by railing with the breeze lightly hitting my face when I heard her soflty call "Veer."
I turned around and looked at her. She was clad in a red saree and looking gorgeous as always.
You take my breath away!
She stood there confused.
A table was arranged with rose petals around it and scented candles on it.
Rose petals were all spread on the terrace floor.
Fairy lights all over.
She stood there gawking at the decorations.
I walked towards her with a smile on my face.
"Did you like it?" I asked her with hope.
"Like it?" She asked furrowing her eyebrows.
I guess she didn't.
"I love it!" She said beaming and hugged me so tight that I couldn't breathe.
I chuckled and put ny arms around her.
"Slow down there, my brat!" I said holding her still because she was literally jumping in my arms.
"You did all this?" She asked with a 400 watt smile on her face.
"I did." I said and she again hugged the life out of me.
"What's the occasion?" She asked seperating herself from me.
This girl!
"Again question?" I asked raising my brows.
"Okay, okay fine. I won't talk now." She said crossing her arms over her chest and pouting.
I kissed her pout away and led her to the table.
I poured the champagne in our glasses.
Now what?
Why isn't she talking?
I don't know what to talk!
"Do you plan on getting me drunk?" She asked wiggling her eyebrows playfully.
I just rolled my eyes at her.
I served her the dinner and just as she tasted the first bite.
Her eyes were wide as saucers.
"You made this?" She asked grinning.
I just nodded nervously. I don't know if it was up to mark.
Yeah! The great Veer Singhania is nervous before his wife beacuse of a dish?
"It's delicous." She said and dug in.
I was all the time smiling looking at her.
She was talking and talking and talking and I just sat there admiring her.
Her hair strands fell on her face and I just tucked them behind her ears.
I sat there with my face held in between my palms and elbows on the table.
"Avni." I called softly.
She stopped her banter and looked at me with raised eyebrows.
I just gestured her to come towards me.
She got up and stood beside me. I pulled her on my lap and she circled her arms around my neck with a smile on her face.
"I am sorry for not choosing you. When everytime my heart was literally screaming your name." I said chuckling and she also laughed at it.
"Thank you for being this stubborn and always standing beside me, even when i was pushing you away." I said caressing her cheek.
"You know, I can't recite and say all those chessy dialogues. I can't promise you the moons & stars. I can only promise you one thing and that is; hence forth you are going to be my only choice. I am going to choose you over everything, forever." I said smiling.
She smiled and said "Get to the point, Singhania. I am waiting for those 3 magical words."
I took a deep breath and looking into her eyes I said.
"I love you. There are no limits to my love for you. I want you, all of you. I just want to change one thing about you." I said to her and she looked confused.
"What?" She asked furrowing her eyebrows.
"That ringless finger of yours. Though we are married, we never got engaged." I said and removed a box from my waist coat and opened it.
She literally squealed at the sight of it.
I asked for her hand and she gave me happily.
I slipped the ring in her finger and kissed it.
"Be mine, forever?" I asked and she just nodded her head vigorously in a yes!
She hugged me and said "Yes, Yes! A hundred times yes!"
"Don't you have anything to say?" I asked still holding her.
"Umm hmm let me think. You've made me wait for too long. So now I think it's your turn to wait." She said laughing.
I just picked her up bridal style and said
"Then I am going to make sure that I pleasure to no extents so that you say those magical words to me." I said winking.
And she blushed hard.
Oh god!
Opening the bedroom door, I softly put her on the bed and climbed on her.
"So, Mrs.Singhnania ready to be mine?" I said pecking her lips.
"Waiting since a long time." She said and pulled me towards her.
And just like that all night I claimed her as mine.
