I was helping mom in kitchen when she got a call and she left taking the call.

It feels really great to have a mother after years.

To have someone to scold you, care for you.

Smiling I started making chicken curry for lunch.

Suddenly I felt arms on my waist from behind.

"It smells delicous." Veer said keeping his chin on my shoulder and planting a soft kiss below my ear.

"Veer!" I whined.

"What?" He asked pulling me more to himself and planting another kiss on my cheek.

"This is not our room. Go away." I said glaring at him.

"Then let's head to our room." He said winking.

I just looked at him wide eyed.

"Ohh my virgin eyes!" Arnav said as he entered the kitchen.

"Arnav, I am sure your eyes aren't virgin." I said glaring at him.

"And you Mr. Singhania, go and spend some time with your family. You rarely have time for them. Don't get all touchy over here in the kitchen." I said glaring at Veer too.

"As you say, Mrs.Singhania" He said again kissing my cheek.

"Kya faayda 6 foot hone ka chalna tumhe use ke ishaaro pe h jo dhang ki 5 foot bhi nhi hai." Arnav said smirking at Veer.

(What is the use of being 6 feet tall if you have to listen to someone who is not even 5 feet.)

"Don't be jealous, Arnav." Veer said laughing.

"I am jealous! You guyss look so cute together! I want to get married too!" Arnav said pouting.

And I just laughed at him.

"Search for a girl, for me." Arnav said.

"Just like you or maybe it would be better if you would just divorce— Arnav started but before he could complete the sentence,

Veer left me and strode towards Arnav saying "Dare you complete that sentence."

"She should divorce you & get married to me." Arnav said really fast and ran away from the kitchen with Veer running behind him.

"You are going to die today!" Veer yelled running behind him and I just chuckled at them.

I just got ready to leave for office.

Veer is already waiting at the parking lot.

"Mom, I'm leaving." I yelled from the living room.

"Grandma, I'm also leaving." Ruhi yelled and I picked her bag.

We were going to drop her to school and then leave for office.

And my phone started ringing for the nth time.

He asked as soon as I answered his call.

I said and hung up on him.

"Let's go Ruhi." I said holding her hand.

When we reached the parking lot.

I saw Veer standing there leaning on his car with his sunglasses on.

He was doing something on his phone.

Can he stop looking this hot?

He saw us and jogged towards the driver's seat.

I made Ruhi sit on the backseat and sat on the passenger seat.

"I m sorry, Ruhi was taking too much time." I said to Veer.

"No V...!" Ruhi yelled.

"My little one, I know it was her who took too much time to get ready." He said to her smiling at her through the rear view mirror.

I sooo love him!

"And you my stubborn brat!" He said and glared at me.

I just gave him one of my best smiles and he rolled his eyes at me but nonetheless smiled.

"Don't smile at me like that. You can just ask for my kidney smiling like that and I might give it to you." He said still smiling.

I just laughed at him.

We reached at her school and Veer handed her the bag kissing her cheek, we waved her byee.

I don't know why, everytime I see him with Ruhi I just want to kiss the hell out of him for being this cute!

We reached office and just got into the conference room where the meeting was going to be held.

As usual I took my chair beside Veer's chair and started taking notes as the presentation was going on.

My phone pinged indicating a message.

I picked it up to see whose message it is.

I tried to supress my smile as we were seated in a room full of his employees with a meeting going on.

I just looked at him and he was already looking at me intently.

I just gestured him towards the projector telling him to pay attention to the presentation.

But he just mouthed a no and was still looking at me.

I just shook my head at him and turned towards the presentation.

The presentation ended and the person giving presentation turned towards Veer for approval and Veer seemed to get out of his daze now.

"Give the soft copy. I'll look into it once again." Veer said nodding and left the comference room.

Perks of being the boss!

I gathered all the stuff and went towards the printer room to print documents.

Just then a colleague walked in and said

"Ohh hey Avni, I did not see you around for a few days. Are you okay?" He asked standing beside me.

"Ohh yeah I am fine." I said and turned towards the printer to check the prints.

He just kept his hand on my shoulder randomly and said "How about we go on a date?" He asked me and I looked at him wide eyed.

"How about you take your hand off my wife's shoulder and I let you keep the job and your hand as a bonus." Veer said entering the room and glaring at him.

The guy looked shit scared.

I soo wanted to laugh on his face.

"I am sorry Mr. Singhania. I did not know she is your wife." He said immediately removing his hand off my shoulder as if my shoulder just burned him. He scurried away from the room.

I just took the prints and Veer took my hand in his and took me towards his cabin.

All this while I was trying to supress my smile.

"Why didn't you shove that fucktard away?" Veer asked closing the door behind me and pulling me towards the couch.

"Veer, before I could reply with anything you just scared the poor guy away." I said smiling.

"What is so funny about it? He is not a poor guy. How dare he ask you on a date?" He started rambling with a furious expression.

"Because he didn't know I was your wife." I said to him holding his hand.

"I soo wanted to break his hand then & there. I swear,— He was talking but then I interrupted by kissing him.

He pulled me on his lap and kissed me hard & rough. As if claiming his possession.

This kiss was full of passion.

Passion I never knew he had for me.

I just hope some day you feel the same about me as I feel!

I pulled away trying to breathe.

"Good thing we have the press conference tomorrow. Everyone is going to know that you are my wife. So they wouldn't make any moves on you." He said caressing my cheek.

"Yeah! So that you would not end up in prison for murdering one of them." I said laughing.

"Don't laugh! It's serious. If Arnav wouldn't have been my brother, I would've killed him the day he used his first pick up line on you." He said scowling.

"He does it to irritate you, Veer!" I said smiling.

"Whatever!" He just said and rolled his eyes.

"Grumpy." I said kissing his cheek.

"Wait, I'll tell you what this grumpy can do." He said and started tickling me and we fell on the couch laughing.
