《Tooth And Claw || Kellic (mpreg) ✔》Chapter 6

They stare at me in confusion. Obviously not knowing how I know why Austin and Alan ran off. That's when I realize that werecats have a much stronger sense of smell than werewolves, but seriously? They can't smell the similarity between Kyle and these bedsheets?
"Kellin. What do you mean you know why Austin and Alan ran off?" Vic asks, coming over to me. I grab the bedsheets again and push them against his chest. "Vic, sniff these, then sniff Kyle." I say.
He looks at me in confusion, but sniffs the bedsheets, then sniffs Kyle, - who I have to say looks as though he's getting a little uncomfortable. His face shows, confusion, before he seems to catch a strange scent, and sniffs both the bedsheets and Kyle again. He then looks up at me, before looking over at Johnnie, Alex and Jack, then back to me. "You smelt this last night too didn't you Kells?" He asks.
I nod. "Yeah, I though something was strange about Alan's scent." I say. "Turns out that smell that was coming off Alan that I could smell last night, is the scent of an expecting mother." I say, looking over at Kyle. "Vic. Austin and Alan fled the Pack house not just because Alan is pregnant, but possibly because they both know that werecats have a very sharp sense of smell, and I'll be able to figure it out that Alan is pregnant." I say. "Well, that and because they broke the code, and they don't want their child being terminated." I add.
Vic then put the bedsheets back down on the bed, and looked around at us all. "We're gonna go out and look for them." He says, looking at me, Alex, Jack, and Johnnie. "Kyle." He adds, turning to Kyle, who was still standing next to me. "You'll have to stay here." He says. "We don't want you getting hurt."
Kyle just nods, before waddling over to Johnnie, who wraps his arms round him in a hug carefully, before Kyle leaves the room and goes back to his and Johnnie's room.
I look over at Vic to see him watching me. He then looks up at the other three wolves in the room. "Johnnie." He says. "Go find Jaime, Mike and Tony and tell them they're gonna help us find Austin and Alan."
Johnnie nods, before running out of the room, and off to look for the other wolves Vic has named. Vic then led Alex, Jack and I out of the room and we separated into our rooms, to rid ourselves of our clothes before we change so we don't end up ripping them. I then change into my werecat form, before Vic changes into his werewolf form.
We then make our way out of our room, and outside, where Johnnie's waiting in his silver wolf form, along with a wolf that looks similar to Vic - which is his younger brother Mike, a black wolf with spikey fur - which is Jaime, and a light brown wolf - which is Tony. Now we're just waiting on Alex and Jack to get down here.

They finally run out of the pack house in their wolf forms, Alex a sandy brown wolf, and Jack a very dark brown wolf, with a strip of white going down one side of his face, down to his tail. They run over to us, and Vic looks round at us all. He motions to Jack and Alex with his head to run off in one direction, before doing the same to Mike and Tony, and Jaime and Johnnie. I guess we're all splitting up then.
He turns to me, licking the top of my head, before running off, with me following a few seconds after registering that we were pairing up together. Man, I wish we could talk to each other in our forms. I caught up to him and ran along side him as we ran through the trees.
After awhile, I caught a whiff of werewolf and werecat scent. And the werecat's scent was laced with the scent of an expecting mother. I stop and meow over to Vic to get his attention. He stops and jogs over to me. I extend a paw out in the direction the event is coming from and he sniffs the air. He then turns to me, his tail wagging slightly, before we both run off following the scent trail.
We run along the scent trail, jumping over logs, rocks and ducking under branches. I kept my nose alert, following along the scent trail, and my ears pricked, looking out for any sounds. I could hear Vic running along behind me, his paws thundering across the forest floor.
After i don't know how long, I stop abruptly, causing Vic to crash into me. I look around after I stand back up and shake out my fur. I've lost the scent trail, and now I don't know which way they went. I let out a whine of frustration, before looking over at Vic.
He seems to gather that I've lost the trail from my distressed look, and how my ears are pressed flat against my head on frustration. He let's out a grunt of frustration, before brushing his muzzle against mine and licking my face. Probably a way of telling me it's okay, I think. Yeah, that's it.
We end up walking for a bit more, before giving up, and walking back to the Pack's house. I kept my head low and my tail dragging across the forest floor. Just by looking at me, you'd be able to tell I was upset that we lost the scent trail and didn't find Austin and Alan. I feel Vic rub his head against my shoulder gently, and I look up at him, before stopping and sitting down. Vic sat down too, and motioned for me to sit down next to him, which I did, and he wrapped his tail round me, as I leaned into his side.

I rubbed the top of my head underneath of Vic's chin, and he wraps a front leg over my shoulders, and pulls me down onto the ground with him. I end up landing on top of him with one of his front legs resting over my side. He licked between my ears, and I started purring as Vic groomed my fur a little. He's so gentle with me, and so cuddly. He's like a big teddy bear.
We look up as we hear rustling in the trees up ahead. We stand up, and slowly move closer to the source of the sound. Honestly, I'm hoping it's Austin and Alan. But, to my annoyance, it's just Jaime and Johnnie. They look at Vic and I, hopefully, but we just shake our heads. Their tails droop down in disappointment, obviously they were hoping that we had found our runaway Pack mates.
We all then run through the trees back to the clearing outside the Pack's house. It takes us around half an hour to get back, and damn, I didn't even realize we've been out looking for most of the day. When we finally run out into the clearing, Mike, Tony, Alex and Jack are already there waiting for us, the four of them looking at us expectantly, hoping that we'd have Austin and Alan following behind, but when they don't see them behind us, their tails droop down in disappointment. I take it they were also unsuccessful with the search.
I flop down onto the grass and rest my head on my front paws. I let a small whine escape my mouth, as I look off blankly into the forest. We were all unsuccessful with the search for Austin and Alan, and honestly, I feel as if it's my fault. I was the one who lost the scent trail.
My ears twitch as I hear someone walk over to me. I look up to see Vic standing next to me, now in his human form with a pair of boxers on. How long was I laying here for?
He sat down next to me, and I notice he's holding a pair of boxers for me. I move closer to him, and rest my head on his lap, as he strokes my fur. "Don't blame yourself for losing the scent trail Kellin." Vic says. "It's not your fault we lost it."
He's right. I know he is, but, I still feel as though I shouldn't have lost the trail. My nose has never failed me like this before. I've never lost a scent trail before. I roll over slightly so I'm on my side, and move up a little on Vic's lap. I press my front paws onto his chest, and he grabs ahold of one of my paws and strokes the fur on my paw.
We stay like this for awhile, till I get up, stretching my back and flexing my claws, before shaking out my fur. Vic stands up also, and we walk inside the Pack's house to our room.
Once we're in our room, I don't bother changing back into my human form, and just crawl under the bed and lay on my side. It's a good thing I'm not that big, and the bed is quite a way off the floor so I can lay under it if someone were to lay down on top, and move around comfortably.
I see Vic's feet make their way over to the bed, before he kneels down and lays down on his side so he could see me. I notice then he is now fully clothed and watching me with worry in his eyes. "Kellin, please come out from under there." He says softly.
I just look away from him, closing my eyes. I didn't want to come out from under here. I've found that laying under beds while I'm in my cat form helps me to relax, as weird as that may sound. But, it's just kinda quiet under beds, and surprisingly not that hot. It's more or less a cool dry place, and I have no idea why laying under them in my cat form helps me relax. I guess it probably started when I was younger, and needed somewhere to calm down, or hide away from everything. And it's something that's just stuck with me ever since.
I hear Vic sigh, and I open my eyes and look over at him. He's still watching me, worry evident in his eyes. "Please kitten." He says. "You can talk to me." He reaches a hand under the bed and places it on top of my outstretched paw. "Just, please don't blame yourself for us not finding Austin and Alan." He says, holding onto my paw. "It's not your fault."
I look away from him, letting out a small meow, and closing my eyes. I feel Vic let go of my paw after awhile, and move around. I open my eyes to find him not laying on the floor next to the bed. But, I do hear him getting onto the bed. I shift around a little, before closing my eyes again, and try to let sleep overtake me.
