Chapter 36 || I Love You
Noah still wasn't letting me do anything. At all. And that annoyed me. While him, Treesa, Tanner, and Carsten were planning their attack I was here sitting beside Noah doing nothing.
I was practically an invalid. Somehow my 'safety' was viewed as more important than saving the human race, or at least according to Noah.
I was of no use to them, yet apparently I was their Luna? The logic that Noah presented to me was completely illogical. He might as well be another version of Albert Fish.
Yes I was referring to the child serial killer again. Sorry.
But everything Albert Fish did made no sense at all too. I mean he almost raped a disabled man, but felt bad about it and stopped. But then he goes and rapes, tortures and kills innocent children? Now i knew Noah wasn't that bad, but their logic was pretty much the same when it came to absurdity levels.
Anyways, the meeting was over now, and everyone was resting for tomorrow. The only people that actually knew what was going on was Myself, Tanner, Treesa, Alexavier, Noah and Carsten. Noah wanted to keep this somewhat under wraps. Basically the people that were directly involved were the only people that were involved. Alexavier wouldn't even be involved except he was the one who gave orders to a large majority of the army Noah had been building over the years.
Noah was still down in his office going over tomorrows plans with Alexavier. Me and Treesa were hanging out with each other in the mean time.
There was a lounge that was directly outside of the room Treesa was staying in, and we were planning on having a movie night. I was hoping for some cheesy chick flick that had some hot hunk in it, but I had a feeling that Treesa would want to watch something entirely different.
As for everyone else, Tanner was in his room, doing who knows what, (Probably throwing darts at the wall), and I wasn't sure where Carsten was.
Treesa walked into the room carrying a bowl of popcorn and some smoothies for us.
"Hey do you know where Carsten is?" I asked.
Treesa snorted, "He's probably jerking off to Anaconda music video or something."
A small chuckle came out of my mouth.
"Why do you ask?" Treesa flopped down onto the couch beside me.
I shrugged my shoulders, "I don't know, I was just thinking about where everyone is, and I didn't know where he was... so yeah." I concluded.
"Your weird..." Treesa said.
I rolled my eyes.
"Lets just hope you have good taste in movies." she said, looking up at the Netflix that was displayed on the TV screen.
Canadian Netflix was actually pretty annoying, and any Canadian would know this, It had like no good shows, and the movies were limited. I used to go down to the states a lot to see some of my long distance friends, and when we went on their Netflix they had a ten times the amount that we did. Netflix was discriminating against Canadians I tell you...

"I was thinking a chick flick..."
"Fail."
I rolled my eyes. "Fine then, what do you want to watch?"
"I was thinking fast and furious."
I scrunched up my nose and gave Treesa a face.
"What? I want to watch an action movie."
I let out a sighed. "I wish the Maze Runner was on Netflix, than we could have gotten to watch an action movie and I would have gotten my Dylan O'Brien fix."
"The truth of that statement though." Treesa said.
We kinda just sat there for a moment, staring at the screen. Personally I was thinking about the Maze Runner, because I really wanted to watch it, but when i looked over at Treesa I found her looking down at the popcorn bowl... looking... I really just did not know how to explain it. It was just that look that someone made when they were thinking about something serious, but like weren't about to sob their eyes out.
It was like when your cat Tom died. I mean sure he was a pain in your ass and you hated his guts, but there were some good times and for a moment it was like you almost did miss him.
It was that face.
I reached over ad grabbed a handful of popcorn. The bowl was sitting in her lap so it was kind of awkward.
"Whats up?" I asked. Looking at her.
She looked up at me, her eyes shifting back and forth a bit before they settled back on my face, "I just don't get why you are being nice to me. I would've thought at this point you would want me dead, and instead we're here fantasizing about the Maze Runner and Dylan O'Brien? It doesn't make sense to me.
I shrugged my shoulders, "A lot has happened in the past couple months. As much as I am prone to hold grudges, I am trying my best to let them go. Besides, you helped me get away in the first place." I laughed a little at the memory, "Remember that greasy diner, and the rat running across the floor?"
A bark of laughter came out of Treesa's mouth, "And the dude that was most likely probably most definitely high? Yeah that was an interesting experience."
"That is a good choice of a word: Interesting."

Me and Treesa had watched Now You See Me instead of a chick flick, or a fast and furious movie. Captain America was playing now, but she and I were talking instead.
"So what are you going to do after this?" I asked.
"While hoping we survive, I'll probably go back home for a while. You know, just go on with life as normal."
"So, you're still going to hunt werewolves then?" I asked.
"That was forward."

"Sorry."
"No, it's fine. But I stopped that years ago. I did it for a while, I mean Tristan, Tanner, and I were like the three ninjas killing these mighty creatures back than, but things change, I've changed." Treesa said. She looked back down at the popcorn bowl.
I remember when we were first being attacked by the Lycaon's. Treesa seemed to be in her element; she knew exactly what to do. It surprised me that she wasn't going to do that anymore, or wasn't doing that anymore.
I also remembered what Tanner mentioned in the vehicle before the attack.
"Did you stop because of your mate?" I asked her.
She looked up at me quickly, her eyebrows were scrunched together like she didn't know what I was talking about, "Mate?" she asked.
"yeah, Tanner said something about you blowing his brains out..."
"Tanners full of bull shit." Treesa said, almost in a snappy tone.
I shrugged my shoulders. "Sorry, I was just asking."
Treesa rolled her eyes and looked back to the TV, turning the TV off, "It's going to be a long day tomorrow. I better go to bed."
I nodded as she got up from her spot on the couch.
I shouldn't have asked about that, I knew it wasn't my place to ask. It was obviously in the past, I just shouldn't have asked.

I was brushing my teeth in the en suit bathroom. My stuff got put in Noah room, and in the past I would have grabbed my bags and found another room, but the more... pleasant time I was spent with Noah the harder it was for me to leave. I wanted my own room... yet at the same time I didn't. I wanted to be around Noah, and yet... Damn hormones.
I was almost finished brushing my teeth when Noah came waltzing into threw the bathroom door. He didn't even bother to knock. All he said was 'hey' as he grabbed his own tooth brush from the cup by the sink and started brushing his own teeth.
I rolled my eyes, finished up with my teeth and left Noah in the bathroom to finish.
I went over to the bed and grabbed one of the blanket sand a pillow and drug them over to the couch that sat by the door of the room.
When Noah came out of the bathroom and saw me lying on the couch he raised an eyebrow. "Sarah, It's a king sized bed. There is plenty of room for the both of us."
I shook my head, "I'm good here."
"You sure? That couch isn't all that comfortable."
"Yes, Noah, I'm sure." i said.
"Okay, whatever." He replied.
I laid my head back down on the pillow and closed my eyes, trying to fall asleep.
I heard Noah drop his pants and my eyes shot open, and then i shut them before I saw anything. I cleared my throat, "Can't you get changed in the bathroom?" I asked.
"No, I'm fine changing here." Noah said in a light hearted tone
I heard the rest of his clothing come off and him get into bed, I buried my head deeper into the pillows. Okay, Sarah, time to go to sleep.
But I didn't. Noah wasn't lying when he said this couch wasn't comfortable.
I rolled over onto my side, and laid my head back against the pillow. I sighed.
I laid there for a couple minutes, but then turned back onto my other side when I still couldn't find a comfortable position.
"You know you can still use the bed..." I heard Noah mumble from across the room.
I turned my head to look over at the bed, "You're naked."
"I'm wearing boxers." I could practically see him roll his eyes.
"You're naked."
"Whatever, sleep on the uncomfortable couch, but don't come crying to me when your tired tomorrow morning."
I sighed. It was either this uncomfortable couch, or the bed, which occupied Noah. Decisions, decisions.
I closed my eyes, letting out a sigh I got up from the couch and walked over to the bed.
Setting my pillow on my side of the bed and climbed in like grumbling to Noah, "You're freaking rich, why would you buy an uncomfortable couch?"
"Because I'm not going to be sleeping on it," Noah mumbled.
His head was buried in his pillow and I was pretty sure he was getting close to falling asleep.
"Whatever." I grabbed the blanket and pulled i over my shoulder, sliding comfortably into bed.
I was expecting my awareness of Noah to keep me awake, but as soon as my head hit the pillow I was almost immediately out.
The last thing I remembered was Noah wrapping his arms around me and whispering three words I hadn't truly appreciated until this point in time.
I love you.
Oh, and you now the sound of savages attack the building outside. I heard that too.
Dude... seriously... two updates in the matter of 24 hours... do you love me? Also it's like twice the size of most of my chapter btw.
ANYWAYS... and if you liked!
Should I do a spin off of any of the characters? Let me know which you would want the most...

The Legion of Nothing
Nick Klein is your average high school geek--if you can still count as average when your grandfather is a retired superhero, and you've been trained in the martial arts by his friend, a mysterious, immortal mercenary. After his grandfather dies, Nick inherits the last version of the Rocket suit, powered armor that allows him to shrug off bullets, smash through walls, and manipulate sound. Along with it comes the base of his grandfather's superhero team including the team's jet and trophies from forty years of fighting criminals and aliens. Together, Nick and his friends, descendants of his grandfather's teammates, attempt to bring back a superhero team that was originally formed during World War 2. Along the way they'll face the normal problems of high school (bullies, homework, and dating), and the less normal problems like supervillians and mysteries leftover from their grandparents' past. As a story, it uses the conventions of all eras of comics from the 1940s on, ranging from serious to silly. If you're hoping for a grim and gritty story, this isn't it. The Legion of Nothing first debuted on my website legionofnothing.com in 2007. In that period it's updated more than 900 times, is still running, and has had millions of pageviews. The first two years have been released as an ebook, receiving good reviews on Amazon and Goodreads. I hope you'll enjoy it, and that you'll review it and comment. To the contrary, the human soul is a physical object, an organ which resides in the chest of each individual. It is a great source of strength, but also of vulnerability. Bleen Fada - The Legendary Pathfinder
It had been decades since dreams started to kill. Today, it's finally over.Mahon was once a general and an impressive warrior. In his dreams. In Nightmare. There, he put an end to the war that plagued mankind for decades. In the real world, however, the war has been raging for millenia, and Mahon is weak, his body frail from all his years spent dream-fighting. But it's time for a new beginning. In a world he knows almost nothing about, he will struggle to climb back to power, a necessity if he wants to achieve his goal. But he doesn’t lack willpower. And he already reached the highest ranks before. Who is to say he can’t do it again? That is, if the Fada let it be… This story takes place in a medieval fantasy world. Swords and schemes are the common ways to assert your place among the powerful. This story follows Mahon on his journey back to power. Not a simple one, as he will uncover some of the deepest mysteries that had been buried deep down along the ages. As of now, 98% of my chapters are through Mahon’s PoV and I want to keep it that way. There will be no unending PoV swaps for multiple chapters. Although war/conflict is one of the main themes, it’s not really a story about war. Instead, expect fights, plots, foreshadowing, progression and adventure from these chapters. It’s my first time publishing a book, and English is not my native language. I hope you will enjoy the story and that you’ll be indulgent enough to point out my mistakes with kindness. I wish to grow as a better writer and provide something that will make you cheer for, and shiver in anticipation. As long as you’re not, it means there is something to improve. Note: It's a slow progression fantasy, and some have raised complaints about the depressing tones and slowness in some of the first chapters. Rest assured, it soon disappears as Mahon progresses.
