《White Wolf Legacy {Book One}》A King's Message

Rogue King's POV

I waited for Adam and Will as I sat in the office of the now defeated Alpha Dimitri. How times change I thought. I looked up as the two rogues entered and they each gave a slight bow of respect to their King. My hand was placed over the golden box on the desk in front of me and I stroked it slowly. It shone brightly on top of the dull oaked desk, the golden box had intricate carvings that decorated it, the only embellishment it had. The carvings included free flowing vines adorned with rose's. I grinned, the exterior was deceiving, its what was inside which was the real gift. It was simple but It would drive my point across just nicely.

I clicked my fingers and Adam stepped forward.

"Has Matthew and Miriam prepared my Luna for tonight's Trial"?

"Indeed sire, everything is as you requested".

I nodded as my focus remained on the golden box.

"We now know where she is, give this box to Beta Richard and tell him to make sure that Luna Violet receives it. It is.... a most precious gift from me to her".

Will and Adam both nodded as Adam removed the box from my grip. As I watched them exit the room my focus finally turned to the little bundle of joy which shivered in the corner of the room. I rose from my seat and approached her slowly.

"Shhh my little pet, you're suffering will soon come to an end".

The child named Peggy shook with so much fear I could not help but smile. Her pain pleased me. Tonight's trial would destroy the last of the weak Luna's and with her the last of the remaining Alpha's who could fight against me. Tonight would destroy all of the packs and I would finally control them all. Once SHE joined me, I would be unstoppable.

The time of packs has ended and the time of the King had only just begun. Reaching down towards the girl I gently stroked her head as I said...

"Its a shame you haven't found your mate little rat. Not that you could ever talk to him anyhow. At least not out loud....

I laughed..

"You know what I did when I found mine?"

She didn't reply just like I expected..

"I strangled her in her sleep when I realised the Goddess had given me an Omega. A pitiful weak Omega. Now I spit in the face of the Goddess and all she can do is watch as I burn and destroy her creations. Soon they will all answer to me and I will soon become a God myself. My 'chosen' mate has yet to come, but she will and soon and when she does.... you will help me to turn her into a Queen".

I picked her up roughly and walked her out into the hall and down the stairs into the cellar. When I found the door I was looking for I held the child up to the small peep hole so those inside and behind that door could see my little friend"

"Open. The. Door." I growled.

"If you don't, I'll let my men ravage her"

I waited a few minutes and when there was no answer I called out to my henchman.

"Ohh Mathewww" I sang.

I watched his burlly body blocked the doors exit as he hovered in the shadows awaiting my next command. His imposing 6'5ft made the child shiver and I spoke again.

"You asked me for a little prize after your recent battle win over bloodstone, and I give her to you".

He licked his lips and I smirked. As he walked towards us the child started to kick and scream fiercely. Even with her young age she knew what was coming".

That's when I heard it...

The small click of the bunkers lock opening.

My grin deepened as my men came rushing into the room to open the door to the crying women of RedFang behind it. Leading them all out one by one.

Women!... I thought.

They all turn into saps as soon as a child is brought in. As my men line the women up with their backs against the wall they all cried as they looked at the little wriggler in my arms with compassion and pity. It was a shame I would have to teach them a lesson. But lessons had to be learned no matter how harsh they might be. In a King's kingdom it took fear to build an empire with complete and utter obedience to its master.

"Your obedience to my commands took far too long. You made me wait for an entire day to see your faces. For your insolence there will be a consequence. One which you will all bare witness to today".

Turning towards Matthew the cries and protests of the women grew louder and my men held them back as they tried to reach the screaming child I now handed over to Matthew.

"Do what you will with her, make sure they watch every moment of it" I said to Matthew.

I walked out of the cellar and up towards the first floor. The screaming and crying only grew louder.

Music to my ears.
