It was a hot summer weekend. You last day of high school had just ended last night.

Your best friend Chad Luar, just told you about his big summer home that his mother left in his name when she died. He -being the best known party man in town- decided to go out to the summer home and throw a huge party.

"Is there gonna be alcohol?" You said into the phone speaker making sure that he could hear you clearly.

"You mean is Evan going to be there?" Chad Luar said in a displeased tone. "Yes he is. Get over him already!" You held the phone away from your ear slightly.

"I-"

"Don't even start with your sob STORY oh my God." The last bit was quieter than the first one. You rolled your eyes torpidly. This guy. You tched and was tempted to hang up.

"Okay. So how much people are coming.?" You said trying to ignore his comment about making a subject change.

"So most people that aren't me -or have lives- can't come because they already went to vacation or something like that. So only about ten people. Not the best party but...more drinks for us.", Chad spoke bitterly.

"And one of those people have to be Evan." You said to yourself. You picked at your nails and held your phone with your shoulder.

"What did you say?" Chad had the 'I know what you were talking about but I'm an annoying static bitch and want to make you say it' tone.

"Nothing. Are you picking me up?" You put some peanut butter in a bowl with one egg. You reached for the sugar as he answered.

"Are you okay with sitting in the back of the truck? With Evan?" He held the a out a little longer in Evan. You sighed and grabbed a spoon to mix the batter together.

"Get me three monster energy drinks and then we have a deal." You put the peanut butter cookies in the oven to bake.

This is literally hell on earth. You complained mentally. Evan was right beside you in the trunk of the truck. He was squishing you against the hood of the truck. If I get my hands on Chad Luar. No when I get my hands on him.

About a mile down the road there was a huge pothole. You jerked up into the air just as Evan slid over.

So now you were in his lap. He had a.....huge friend that was poking your thigh. You squealed and quickly shot away from him. You also earned a lot of glances from the other people as you sat in the middle of the circle of people.
