Your POV:
You continued to walk without a care in the world. After a few minutes, you reached your house. You were exhausted from the day. The thought of snuggling in your bed under a thick, fluffy blanket was pleasing.
It was quiet when you opened the door. That wasn't a surprise. You lived alone, so it was quite empty of excitement all of the time. Since it was just you, your house was pretty small. It consisted of one floor with a bedroom, a kitchen, and a living room.
You changed into your pajamas, brushed your teeth and hair, washed your face, and then turned the lights off. However, just as you began to hop onto your bed, you heard a creak in the hallway. You panicked, and being the scared person you were, you buried yourself under the covers. You didn't understand how characters in horror movies were able to bravely investigate. You shook your head, needing to calm yourself down. There was no monster. The sound was probably your imagination, or it came from outside. You managed to close your eyes and try to get some sleep.
But there was a monster in your hallway. Right behind your door. Waiting.
Your eyes snapped open to the sound of your bedroom door opening. Now you were beyond terrified. No windows were opened in your house. After a moment you slowly sat up, anticipating to see a hideous creature with six legs standing at your doorway.
Nothing was there. The door was just slightly ajar. You calmed down a bit. Maybe you didn't close the door properly before. You sighed and went to the door to shut it. After hearing the click of the door in place, you turned around.
A figure was right in front of you. It was so close that both of your noses almost touched.

You screamed so loudly that you were surprised the windows didn't shatter. Your heart felt like it was going to burst from shock and absolute horror.
The person grabbed your arm and slammed your back against their chest. Their strength was inhuman. Your scream of bloody murder was cut off quickly when they shoved a napkin against your nose and mouth.
This can't be happening.
You somehow managed to hold your breath in the panic and try to weasel your way out of the persons grasp. But it's useless. You never felt so weak before.
Unfortunately, you had to breathe again, so you took a whiff of the chemicals. The effect is immediate. You felt yourself fading away in the stranger's arms. Maybe this was it. You're going to fade away into the sky and vanish from the world. Tears welled up in your eyes. Your life was going to end just like that. However, right before you blacked out, you were surprised to hear a calm and quiet but dangerous voice.
"Go to sleep, Y/N. I love you so much."
You felt a kiss on your forehead.

Bam! Truck-kun, wtf?! I didn’t do anything wrong! Wait, are you god? I get to reincarnate in a fantasy world? I will even have super powers? With this will I finally be able to do all I want?! I will become cool, right? The whole universe will be within my grasp! Thank you, Truck-kun! I will never forget you. Wait, what?… Truck-kun… Screw you! ***** Disclaimer: All materials used in the cover are royalty-freeThis novel is not written with the intent to earn money and therefore a strict release schedule does not apply. I will try to upload the first 7 chapters with the regularity of one chapter every three days, after that the schedule is likely to change to one chapter per week. This would also entail that I will not be putting too much effort into writing this though I will attempt to maintain a decent quality. There will likely be no editing on my part, frankly, I don’t have too much time for this, but we’ll see how it goes.

8 109Wrong Side of The Severance
In the waning times of a costly war that spanned several firmaments, one world that was supposed to be cherished by the gods was cast to the wayside, and from everyone’s minds. This world - Berodyl - had flourished under the tender love of the gods for millennia… but no longer. Berodyl stood ready to aid the gods in their strife, but when the time came, the armies of this world never heard the call. They never even saw the battlefield. No. Instead, they found that, once the war had begun, the hierophants no longer heard the whispers of their sacred deities whom they had served so faithfully; only silence now filled the halls of their temples. Some even came from beyond Berodyl’s firmament to take to the sides of those who would fight for the gods. Alas, they soon found themselves stranded in a land abandoned— now, too, abandoned themselves. Now there is but one question weighing down on everyone: can a world such as this - a world once loved, now alone - survive with nought but its own? For an outlander such as Livia, the question seems nearly impossible to answer. The first book of The World The Gods Forgot.
