《Mages and Wizards》Halloween special

It was now the day of Halloween and Hogwarts was getting everything prepared. The ghosts were coming out of the paintings and the students were preparing some spells for the feast. Some of the teachers were also preparing some candles with fancy designs to light up the hall for the dinner feast.
"Wow! Look at all these cool stuff they're doing!" Levy said amazed. "I know right!" Lucy joined in. "But I have a question," Natsu asked, "what's a 'Halloween?'" They just shrugged. "Let's ask someone else." Mira suggested.
All of them started looking for someone who could explain what Halloween is; someone who wouldn't question their lack of knowledge of any of their holidays. Someone not like Hermione. Actually, anyone but her. She's already way to suspicious of them from what she's seen.
They kept wandering around, trying to to get in the way of anyone decorating. They all stayed together with levy and Lucy in the front, them being the ones who would probably find the best person to explain it. They spotted Harry and decided that it was a good idea for them to ask him, and convince him by making up some excuse that he'd believe.
"Hey Harry," Gray called out. He turned his head in their direction and saw them all coming towards him. "What do you need?" He asked. "Actually," Erza rubbed the back of her head sheepishly, "We were wondering if you could explain what Halloween is to us." Harry had a confused look on his face. "How do you not know what Halloween is?" He eyed them.
"Well. . ." They couldn't just say, 'well, you know we come from a different world where the term Halloween doesn't exist and the only reason were even here is because your headmaster promised our master an extremely large reward if we came to protect his school — especially you.

So, instead they just said, "Well, where we come from, Halloween is used differently and we wanted to know what you guys did here, at Hogwarts. Yeah, just to see Hogwarts way of celebrating Halloween." Levy said with a quick, short answer that shouldn't raise any more suspicion.
"Oh, sure, I guess you wouldn't know since your knew," He rubbed his head in embarrassment after realizing that fact. "Well Halloween is Halloween or Hallowe'en (a contraction of Hallows' Even or Hallows' Evening) also known as Allhalloween, All Hallows' Eve, or All Saints' Eve, is a celebration observed in several countries on 31 October, the eve of the Western Christian feast of All Hallows' Day. It begins the three-day observance of Allhallowtide, the time in the liturgical year dedicated to remembering the dead, including saints (hallows), martyrs, and all the faithful departed.
"It is widely believed that many Halloween traditions originated from ancient Celtic harvest festivals, particularly the Gaelic festival Samhain; that such festivals may have had pagan roots; and that Samhain itself was Christianized as Halloween by the early Church. Some believe, however, that Halloween began solely as a Christian holiday, separate from ancient festivals like Samhain.
Halloween activities include trick-or-treating (or the related guising and souling), attending Halloween costume parties, carving pumpkins into jack-o'-lanterns, lighting bonfires, apple bobbing, divination games, playing pranks, visiting haunted attractions, telling scary stories, as well as watching horror films. In many parts of the world, the Christian religious observances of All Hallows' Eve, including attending church services and lighting candles on the graves of the dead, remain popular, although elsewhere it is a more commercial and secular celebration. Some Christians historically abstained from meat on All Hallows' Eve, a tradition reflected in the eating of certain vegetarian foods on this vigil day, including apples, potato pancakes, and soul cakes."

"Wow! That's. . . A lot of information." Natsu said trying to get his brain to stop frying. "Sorry, I may have gone a bit too in-depth." Harry apologized. "It's fine, he's just an idiot." Lucy said intrigued by the entire thing.

As the time passed, fairy tail was helping out until it was time for the feast. When it was, they were all starving — especially natsu. But then again, when is he not? Anyways, when they went inside the hall, they saw how beautifully illuminated the room was by the hundreds of candles above their heads, with very depth designs on them.
"I'm starving! Where's the food?" Natsu yelled with his usual grin. "Shut up!" Erza banged his head on her armour plate. Natsu fainted for a second before perking up again. "Alright! Food!" He yelled again, receiving a glare from the scarlet haired mage. He sweat dropped and said, "oops."
When the food arrived, they all started talking with each of the houses and enjoying their food at the same time. It was an amazing and delicious experience.
~
When they got back to their respected houses, only one thought ran through all of their heads.
''This was an amazing first Halloween.'

The Dungeon Hive
One thing I noticed about most dungeon stories is that most races mistakenly believe that dungeons have a hive-mind and I go, “That make sense.” Considering the various powers and how big dungeons can get, wouldn’t it make more sense for them to have a hive-mind? So this is it; my take of the world’s first dungeon and the hive that controls it. Watch as it stumbles, fall, survive, strive and…procreate? Watch as it changed the world of Ioplon…for better and for worse. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For edited version of the story, the full trilogy (Book_1: Fantasy Begins, Book_2: Dungeon Flames, Book_3: Spread of the Dungeons) are now available on Amazon. Please take a look, and leave a rating. Thanks

Old rivalries clash with new necessities as the fabric of reality strains once more. ___________________________________________ This is my first shot at posting something I've written and a story set in a literary universe that I really want to take places, one of several that's been rattling around in my brain for a few years now. Constructive criticism always welcome, unconstructive criticism welcome with the caveat that I very well might ignore it. Written for Nanowrimo, because why not.
