i'm sitting at my desk checking ms.o'connell emails. she is running late,which is funny considering she's the boss.

after checking the emails that mainly consisted of people saying how they loved her brand,i am now thinking of something.

i begin drawing a sketch of a wallet. i know she needs new wallet designs so what if i just help her out.

suddenly the door open and i place the piece of paper under the stacks of paper on my desk.

"good morning ms.o'connell" i say

"good morning aaliyah...and when we're alone please just call me billie" she say

"okay" i say

"you look beautiful" she say now standing in front of my desk

"thank you,you look great yourself" i say

she sits down in the chair across from my desk which made me confused.

"is there anything you need?" i ask

"you didn't tell me you had a girlfriend" she say,staring deep into my soul

that's because i don't have one. "i didn't really see that i had to tell you,it's not really your business" i say

"i thought we were at least friends,i don't want to just be your boss,i want to be friends" she say

"it just happened fast" i mumble "anyways how are things with your wife?"

"okay? i mean things are normal but not quite there yet"

honestly i think their marriage is over with and there's nothing you can do to fix it. will i ever tell her that? no. she'll figure it out on her own.

"would you like to go to dinner with me tonight?" she asks me

"billie you have a wife and i have a girlfriend. worry about making your wife happy" i say

she roll her eyes before saying "sierra isn't your girlfriend. i'm not stupid"

"yes she is" i lie

"aaliyah i would advise you to not lie to me when i know the truth" she says sternly

"okay...no she isn't. she's my best friend" i say

"so why lie to me baby?" she asks placing her hands on the desk

honestly,that just made me feel things in my underwear.

"i-i don't know" i say

"so i'll see you tonight,yeah?" she asks looking at me in a way where i can't resist

"yes,you'll see me tonight" i say smiling completely forgetting she has a wife

she stands up and leans over the desk. her lips come in contact with my cheek and she smiles pulling away.

she gives me a glance before walking back to her desk. i touch my cheek in disbelief. she just kissed my cheek?!?!?

the whole day all i could think about was the fact that billie flirted with me despite her having a wife.

i know shit is going left in the marriage but that doesn't mean cheat. my phone suddenly starts ringing and i see it's a unknown number.

i answer it and is met by the sound of eve. "hi aaliyah" she say

"um hello?" i say being confused. how did she get my number?

"can we meet up and talk...i just need to get this off my chest. i know you don't know me but i just need to" she say

i think for a moment before saying "sure,i'm leaving work now"

i walk out the elevator and she say "meet me at the old toy-r-us"

"alright i'll be there" i say before hanging up

i don't really know what these two problems are and why the fuck they are putting me in the middle. i barley know billie.

i get in my car driving to the old toy store. once i get there i see her car is the only other one in the parking lot.

i get out my car and she waved at me to get in the backseat with her.

"hi" i say

"hi...i know this is probably weird for you"

"very" i say. this was weirder than people who eat ass.

"have you been noticing billie flirt with you? i just need this answered now" she asks

"yes i have,especially today. i feel like she should stop,you two are still married and that isn't right" i say

"she called me delusional but i can see she's falling for you in front of my eyes" she say

"i don't think she's falling for me,i think it's lust" i say honestly

"i just want our marriage to work out" she say

"some things aren't meant to be.like once...i had a girlfriend and everything was fine until once it wasn't and i realized not everything is meant to be" i say

i feel like i'm being the therapist friend and i don't like it. this lady not even my friend!

she takes in the words i say before looking at me. it's silent for a moment before she begins leaning in.

oh hell-

i back away. "you're still married" i say

"it's shit! i'm done trying" she say before placing her lips on mine

i personally haven't gotten laid in two weeks so...maybe this is a win situation for me.

i kiss back placing my hand on her face. she straddles my lap and begin kissing on my neck.

"wait no" i say coming into reality before pushing her off

"what? did i do something wrong?" she asks

"yes! you're basically cheating on billie! you two are still together no matter how horrible it is" i say

"this isn't my first time,so why stop now" she say

wait...did she just admit to cheating on billie before?

"wait...you cheated on her before?" i ask

"i mean...yeah" she shrugs

"you two are more fucked up than i thought" i roll my eyes before getting out of the car

i get in my car and drive home. once i got home i take off my clothes and change to something better.

i touch up my makeup. the best thing to do in this situation is tell billie what happened.

i did my hair into a ponytail before heading downstairs. soon i hear the sound of a car horn and i leave out the house.

billie is standing there with the door open on the passenger side.

"you look beautiful" she say kissing my cheek off guard

"thank you" i smile getting in the car

she close the door and walks back to the driver side.

"i have something to tell you" i say quickly

"what is it?" she asks pulling off

"so eve called me and we met up. she kissed me-" i get cut off by billie asking

"did you kiss her back?" she asks

"yes,but i stopped myself" i say not feeling guilty about the whole situation

"she's a fucking whore" billie roll her eyes

"she then told me she had cheated on you before"

"so all this fucking talk about me cheating,which i've never did and she's cheated on me before. she's such a fucking hypocrite" she scoffs

"i agree" i say

soon we get to a restaurant and she opens the door for me. "thank you" i say
