oh no i'm running late

my alarm decided to not wake me up this morning. so here i am with ten minutes till eight putting on my shoes.

i grab my bag before looking in the mirror. i am wearing a skirt that's two inches before my knees and a button up shirt.

i grab my keys and run out the house. i kick off my heels and start the car and drive off.

once i got to the building i get inside the elevator pressing the correct number.

i get out the elevator after what felt like ten minutes but was actually one minute. i speed walk as fast as i can before knocking on her door.

the door opens and she looks me up and down slowly. she smiles letting me walk in.

"good morning ms o'connell" i say

"good morning aaliyah" she smiles "first thing i want you to do for me is read over these"

i see a stack of paper and i mentally groan but i nod my head.

"make sure they seem decent and no ugly or basic designs" she say

"i will,anything else you need right now?" i ask

"nope,i just think you should know i added a desk for you,you can decorate it however you please. it's around that corner" she smiles

wow...i'm sharing a office with my hot boss. is this wattpad or something?

i grab the stack of paper and walk over to my desk. i begin going through the designs seeing some pretty awful ones.

how did some of these people get hired? their creative process is ass. it's giving me kindergarten—actually no a kindergartner would have more creativeness going on.

the stack of trash ideas gets bigger and bigger as i look through. i notice only one out of the whole stack that was actually something that we could work with.

i stand up and walk around the corner. i place the picture on her desk. "this is the only design out of the whole pile that i found intriguing,the rest was horrible" i say

"wow" she mumbles looking at it. ms.o'connell looks up at me smiling like i just did something oh so mighty.

"this is great! i love it! now since you did that...can you pick up my food i ordered?" she asks

oh hell no...i came for the job of a assistant to help get work things done. how does food have to do with work?

i nod anyways because i'm not about to get fired on the first day. "you can take my car if you want to,i'll email you the place" she suggests

as much as i would love to do that,i'm going to decline her offer. isn't that a little weird considering i already have a car?

"i'm good,i'll just take my car" i say grabbing my bag

"alright,drive safe aaliyah" she smiles at me

why is she so hot? i thought this shit only existed in movies. i give her a smile before leaving out the office. my phone gets a notification and i see she emailed me the place.

i get in the elevator and a familiar woman wearing a white dress and heels step out. that's billie wife that sierra showed me.

i hear the door open and i look up to see eve. "baby what are you doing here?" i ask seeing her walk in

"i can't come visit my wife?" she asks sitting down on the sofa. she crosses her legs looking up at me.

before i could say anything she asks "was that your new assistant?"

"yes,that was" i say fixing my posture

she crosses her arms saying "she's pretty"

"i know what the fuck you're thinking and no i'm not fucking her" i say rolling my eyes

"i never said that" she scoffs

"but you were thinking that. how many times do i have to tell you i want you eve and no one else! you're the perfect girl for me i swear" i say looking at her "we've been married for five years now,when have i ever shown any non loyalty"

"never" she mumbles

"exactly,so you have nothing to worry about" i say truthfully

i get why she's like this,she's been cheated on before in her previous relationships before me but she needs to know i would never do that to her.

i love her and i really would never want anyone else. i don't see myself with anyone except her.

"i love you" she say

i stand up and walk over to her hugging her. i press a kiss against her lips before saying "i love you too baby"

"girl you better get that dick!" sierra say

"no! she's married. i do not chase after married women that's weird" i say driving

"i say do it and she'll get pussy whipped,want to know what that means? it means she'll always come back and she'll eventually leave her wife for you and you two will live happily ever after" she say

i shake my head at her ridiculous plan before pulling into the parking space. "i gotta go,i'm back at the office now" i say

"byee and make sure to suck her di-" she gets cut off by me hanging up on her

that girl is on drugs,got to be.

i grab the food and head into the building. once i got the the right floor i knock on the office door. just incase,so i won't walk into nothing.

"come in" she say

i walk in to see billie and the woman i saw earlier sitting down on the couch. billie stands up taking the food from my hands. "thank you aaliyah" she smiles

"this is my wife eve o'connell" she say introducing me to her wife

"hi,i'm aaliyah williams" i say smiling

"i've heard all about you aaliyah" eve says smiling at me

"i'm going to get back to my desk" i say before walking away

i didn't really know what else to do to say on that situation. i head back to my desk and sit down. i pull out my phone texting sierra.

we made plans to hang out tonight so let's see how this will go.
