《Red Skies》Tingle

The bright light of morning assaulted me again, returning me to consciousness. Though not as bright as before, the light was twice as annoying this time around. Sergei’s vibe was no longer torturing my body, I can’t really feel much of anything at the given moment.
Everything is dulled by, what I can assume to be, some strong ass drug. I know my eyes are opened by the kaleidoscope of colors prancing about like fawn in my field of view. I can’t even sit up, attempting to do so only yields the result of shakes in my spine.
“Addison are you awake?” The gentle words came from someone other than Segei, someone who is experienced in talking to people who are in a drugged stupor. No one comes to mind as who the voice could belong to but, I know I have heard this voice from somewhere before.
The colorful auras stopped dancing and began to merge into one amalgamation, I was imagining the formation of some rainbow blob but, instead I was met with the reassuring smile of Dr. Khan. I can’t really remember much from my time in the school’s medical bay but, I do remember varying moments of her performing her duty as a doctor to keep me alive. I remember various medical machines with a lot of buttons and gizmos beeping and producing some sort of health data relevant for the doctor. I swear that there was another doctor or expert assisting Dr. Khan but, I can’t be sure since I didn’t see anyone. I just remember coming through at one point where I think she was crying about something, and I heard the voice of an older man. At least that’s what I think I saw, with all the drugs in my system, it is just as likely that was my mind dreaming about my stint in medical.

I have no clue what is going on with me, I just really hope it stops in time for classes on Monday.
The sensation I had back in the auditorium, of being submerged in water, returned. A bright light came from outside my peripherals, replacing Dr. Khan with a blinding radiance. My instincts took control, going to work to seal my eyes from any further damage to the light. No matter how much I willed them to shut, something kept me from doing so, two points of pressure held the top eyelid of each of my eyes pulled up, “Follow the light with your eyes Addy. Please keep your head still.”
With my eyes locked on the light, instead of being seared, like I anticipated, my sinus began to tingle. It produced a loud buzz, like a chorus of cicadas ruining a nice summer day. Regardless, as the light rose up to my forehead, I adhered to Dr. Khan’s instructions and followed the source with my eyes. The light began to fall, with my eyes following suit. My eyes went with the light as it casted to my left, before finally ending its journey by setting on my right.
The light dissipated to a blur, except for the returning clarity positioned on Dr. Khan’s face. Her lips made movements, and noise came out but my ears did nothing to capture them and extract their message. My ear drums began to tingle, yielding a high pitch ring.
The mosquito tone's annoyance grew as it drilled into my skull. The deeper the drill went, the more my brain boiled. Even with distorted vision, the blurred combinations of hues and saturation filling my view shook with a violent rage. As far as I could tell, no one had laid hands on me to shake with such force.

"FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUU," through unconious impuls, my favorite word was beginning to force its way into the world,"UUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCC," however, at the rate it is going, the pain will deplete before I can finish it. "CCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKK," a slight prick violated the thin skin above my vein on my neck, "KKKKKKKK!"
The words rose from within, replacing my thought with that of an animal.

World Master
Hey! I once lived on your world back in 2056. But that was a long time ago and there’s probably no records of my existence. Or, maybe, I haven’t even been born yet… …I’m still figuring out of the timelines correspond. Anyways, I was or will be, or whatever you want to call it (maybe I am?), John Pitcher, a resident at St. Jude’s Hospital for the Mentally Ill. I was a computer programmer and my parents had me admitted there because I was convinced that I had been contacted by Set, the Egyptian god of chaos, about creating a world. Well, apparently, I’m something akin to the great times a hundred grandson of over 10 000 gods, and they didn’t want me to live an ordinary, dull life (well, except for the god of normalcy, but he doesn’t count). Set gave me three years to prepare myself. This begins right at the end of those three years. [participant in the NaNoWriMo Royal Road challenge] I originally had this as part of the prologue, then I realized that it made a better synopsis. Please note: this might seem a bit clunky because I haven't done a lot of writing, and this is supposed to be a kind of prequel to another story that I plan on doing in the future. I will not be fully explaining everything but instead will be explaining things in that other story. This is mainly to help fill in the lore of the world so that people will have at least a basic idea of how things function. Regardless of that, that story won't be written for at least another year, so deal with it. Note: I am using ideas from several different authors in order to make sure that this can be a proper story. You may or may not recognize where I got them. I am not writing a Fanfiction and do not claim these as my own. I will add to a list of titles below as I find myself using those ideas. World Keeper (obviously) The Wandering Inn The Legend of Randidly Ghosthound (not yet, but eventually) A bunch of others that I haven't thought of yet
