Viosus who was standing furthest back was shocked. He couldn't believe that female got the guts to hurt his Master.

Neo was already impatient now seeing the female's act, his temper went off the roof.

Neo quickly ran towards the males standing in front of her and pushed them hard, knocking some over.

But the goat female was still safe, standing behind their backs shouting "Eeekkk!" as if he had hit her.

Neo was being outnumbered by the 4 males who were holding his arms, and then 2 of the one that got knocked down stood up and held onto his legs, immobilized him.

This was a true test to Neo's strength. Even with 5,6 beasts holding onto him, trying to pinch him down, they were still struggling.

Yilas was still shocked by the dirty move but she finally turned around.

"That bitch!" she mumbled with her eyes opened wider and wider.

"You beasts here all see this carnivore beast attacked my spouses first!" The goat female, who was safely guarded shrilled up her voice once again. "What are you beasts waiting, hit them!"

It wasn't long after what the female said that the people in the diner started to throw their food at Yilas and Viosus.

The first throw was some grains and it hit Yilas right on the shoulder. And then the rain of food was coming from all sides of the room.

Luckily Viosus was quick to cover Yilas, he held her tight in his arm, sheltering her from being hit with the food. Even though he couldn't cover it all, the food got on her didn't do any severe damage.

The situation had taken a turn for the worst, Yilas thought to herself they need to leave this place immediately. Yilas didn't know what this punishment the female was talking about but if they stayed any longer, she was scared that they would get gang up on and be assaulted.

Neo who was struggling to break free from the males hanging tight on his body finally transformed his arms into giant wings and knocked all of them on their backs.

The commotion broke the chain of food flying toward Yilas and Viosus. Neo flapped his big brown wings a few times creating hard blowing winds circling the house. The air pressure was so heavy it even made the wood walls started to shake. Beats who were throwing stuff so boldly a moment ago now screaming in terror with their heads and ears covered.

"Neo!" Yilas screamed loudly to break through the loud wind. "Let's just go home."

Yilas eyes and Neo met so she knew he had heard her. And then "Swoosh!" Neo already flew out of the diner house.

Viosus, who was now pitifully covered in all sorts of different food, grabbed Yilas's hand tightly, taking her out of this terrible nightmare.

The door was not too far from where they were standing so it only took a few seconds for them to get outside. The market crowd who were intrigued by all the loud commotion surrounded the door but they made a way for the two of them.

As they were just two, three steps out of the door, Yilas's hair was pulled very hard. So hard that it made her body bent backward and her leg trembled. Yilas let out a painful cry.

"AHHKK..." the pull force wasn't strong but it was sudden and since Yilas's body was moving in the opposite direction it made her yelled in agony.

As he fell his hand was tugged and Yilas's scream tore up his heart up like a piece of paper was being shredded, he turned around. His eyes were narrowed, rigid, cold, hard. The eyes stared harshly at the hand of the person who was still hanging onto the ends of Yilas hair.

It was the hand of the goat female, she had somehow caught some of Yilas's hair as they were walking out.

Viosus had never wanted to shred any animal to pieces that bad. He didn't even need to snarl and growl for the female to be scared off. His gaze was stone cold and filled with the most hatred for any creature. If it weren't for the circumstances that they were in right now and she wasn't a female, Viosus wouldn't let her have another second to breathe.

The female let go of Yilas's hair almost as quickly as she had caught them.

Viosus was so frozen by anger he just stared at the female, making her whimper in fear.

Neo from directly above them saw it too when Yilas screamed. He leaped down as fast as he could, it made a loud *thud* noise next to Yilas and Viosus.

Yilas now couldn't take it anymore, she swingled her hand fast like lighting and struck her palm down so hard on the female's face that it sounded like a loud clap.

The slap stung the female's face and left a big red mark behind. She staggered backward, clutching her face, eyes watering. And her mouth didn't forget to cry out loudly.

Neo and Viosus who was helplessly angered were somewhat relieved with that slap on the female's face, if they could they would have even killed her.

Yilas hand was also burning from the pain, the female's skin was coarse and it felt tough so she knew she didn't hit as hard as she wanted. But seeing her exaggerated reaction made Yilas even madder because she thought the female was faking it.

The goat female had never been hit before in her entire life, and this wenched female right here dare to do such act on her. She would do anything to make her pay.

"How could you dare hit me? I am a female!" the goat female shrieked.

"I am a female too so why can't I hit you?" Yilas one hand was now freed Viosus, the other was on her hip. She looked down onto the female like the garbage that she was.

"You!" the female held her face but couldn't say anything back, her whole face was red like a ripe tomato.

"Who told you to grab my hair in the first place?"

With that said, Yilas landed another slap on the other side of the female's face, this time even louder than the last.

The goat female being hit another time shrilled up again, crying louder than before. This time tears as big as pearls ran down her face swollen up face.

"Help me!" The goat female turned to the crowd surrounding them, begging for an ally.

But the crowd was just there to circle them, and gossip, none made a single move to help her.

"You reap what you sow!" somebody in the crowd said loudly and people started nodding their head in agreement, the gossiping noise got even louder. It seemed like the goat female reputation wasn't very good in the city either, someone had recognized her for causing trouble in the past. The crowd outside was not on her side this time.

"Yeah… I saw it too, she pulled her hair first!" another and then another started to talk from the crowd opening a huge discussion. They were buzzing with a huge swarm of bees.

After this Yilas didn't feel like seeing all this nonsense anymore, she pulled her way out of the crowd holding both Viosus and Neo hands. Yilas headed straight for the gate where they passed first this morning not looking back one time.

Yilas was upset, she felt like crying but no tears could escape her eyes. After walking for about 15 minutes from the city, she stopped and let go of both their hands.

Neo and Viosus paused on their walks and looked at Yilas, she was facing the ground.

Yilas already saw the damage on her companion's body. Neo was covered in scratches and bruises, the marks weren't deep but you could still see some blood gushing out. And luckily Viosus didn't get hurt, even though he had already shaken off all the food attaching to his hair and body, the stench coming from him was quite unpleasant.

Yilas was angry because she couldn't do anything, she wanted to protect them, to stop those people from injuring them but there was nothing she could do. Once again she was helpless.

Yilas eyes were red, her scarred skin was swollen up and started to look pink but she wasn't crying, she couldn't cry.

"SORRY!" She screamed loudly, still facing the ground, holding her firsts in a ball.

"They were targeting me but you two got hurt for protecting me instead! Thank you for protecting me, I wouldn't let you get hurt next time." Now folding her body in a 90-degree bend, Yilas truly regretted causing them harm.

Neo and Viosus looked at Yilas, and then looked at each other surprised. But then both of them burst out laughing.

Males had always protected females, it was their duty in this world so there was no doubt in Neo that he needed to protect Yilas. Not only she was a female, but she was also a female that now had a place in his heart. Now Neo was sure why he had liked Yilas since the first time he had seen her, and the feeling only grew stronger as he got to understand her more.

And Viosus would have protected his master even if it means risking his own life, so of course, he would do anything for her. There was no need for her to feel sorry for them, or thanking them. They had already considered it their duty.

But even though Yilas's apology was strange in this world's logic, it still showed that she cared for both of them, that is what warmed their hearts.

Yilas was surprised by the response she got back, she lifted her head to confirm their reaction.

To her surprise, Neo and Viosus were both laughing hysterically. Neo was even laughing so hard that his stomach hurt, he was crouching down, hugging his stomach.

This was also the first time Yilas saw Viosus laughed so carelessly. He looked just like any young adult man in her time laughing without a care in the world. His eyes curled up beautifully, his hair was flowing with his body rhythm and shone nicely in the sun. His pearly teeth were exposed to the fullest, making a nice contrast with his rosy lips.

Two pretty boys were dying laughing at Yilas's genuine apology, she couldn't help but blushed and felt bashful.

After a while, Viosus stopped first. He realized that he had been acting disrespectfully towards his master. Viosus reached out his hand to hold Yilas's, he could feel the raging heat in her palm.

"It's my duty to protect Milady, as I will continue to do so as long as I am breathing." Viosus smiled, his eyes showed a type of kindness that Yilas had seen before. Those looked like the eyes of a doctor caring for his patient, that was what she thought it resembled the most. Yilas couldn't help but blush at the handsome man in from of her.

Neo saw Viosus being intimate with Yilas so he couldn't stand still, he took Yilas's other hand. He felt like he needed to let his feelings be known so that he could compete for her acceptance.

"If you let me, I also want to protect you for the rest of my life."

Yilas looked at Neo dumbfounded. She could understand why Viosus said what he said but Neo's sudden confession was out of the blue. Yilas felt torn because this man had just saved her, taking all the beating without complaining a word but she still felt like this was too much for her to accept.

Yilas opened her mouth but no word came out. No words could have come out before the lightning-fast slap of Viosus onto Neo's hand. The slap made Yilas and Neo hand disconnected. Neo looked at his hand with a red line on the skin and then he hissed aggressively at Viosus.

"What is your problem?" Neo hiss painfully at Viosus.

"My problem is you!" Viosus, of course, would not accept Neo to be Yilas's protector, he would never let Neo touched his master again.

"Know your place and keep your dirtied hands to yourself!" Viosus said to Neo in a stern voice.

Yilas secretly thanked Viosus for getting her out of a difficult position, though she still felt pitiful for the already injured Neo being hit.

Yilas held Viosus's arm and told them to break it off. The three walked home somewhat peacefully even though Neo was still pouting and Viosus would refuse to look at Neo. They were like Tom and Jerry so Yilas couldn't help but think that they were adorable.

After 2 hours of walking, Yilas finally saw the familiar bamboo wall, but she didn't want to come home first. Yilas suggested going to the creek and washed themselves off.

Neo was heading toward his camp anyway so he would gladly accompany Yilas some more. With an excellent sense of smell, Viosus could smell the stench on him so he reluctantly agreed.

As they were walking closer, the three of them could smell the smoke getting stronger, Neo already saw the white trail of smoke in the sky from a few miles away.

Turned out the smoke was coming from the Boar's camp, they were roasting something big like a skinned antelope even though the sun was still out.

Porsogon and the other two were sitting closeby to the fire, watching the meat closely. Porsogon was a quick learner, he had picked up the skill of starting a fire from Yilas just by watching her once so it didn't take long for him to get to practice. Porsogon thought since he couldn't use fire energy, this technique was quite valuable.

Porsogon and the others could hear the sounds of beasts coming their way but they had picked up Yilas and Neo scents, they didn't make a move.

As the three of them walked out of the bushes, Porsogon stood up as quick as a bullet being shot once he saw the miserable state that they were in.

Yilas noticed the fire and as she thought they were busy cooking so she didn't mean to come close to them. Instead, she was heading straight to the water to wash Viosus and herself.

Neo parted with Yilas and Viosus to come toward his clan's men even though he was just a few steps away from them and he could clearly see them from where he was standing.

Porsogon with his arms crossed on his chest, he frowned harshly at Neo and asked what had happened to him. Porsogon even though never showed any worry or concern toward Neo but deep down he cared for Neo, they grew up together and had the same mother after all.

Neo was embarrassed but he told Porsogon what happened anyway. Porsogon's face was darkened by the seconds as Neo explained. As he thought Neo was out hunting all day instead he had gone out to cause trouble and even got himself hurt. Moreover, he was furious at the outrageous treatment that Yilas received. Porsogon wasn't sure why he was so frustrated at the moment but his face got darker and his fingers rolled tightly into a fist.

Porsogon turned his back to his clan men and faced a tree 2 steps away from them.

*BAMP* a loud noise like a clap of thunder had stroke down on the sunny sky, it was followed by a slow but loud thud by a tree broke down in half.

Porsogon had punched the tree down in one go.

The three beast-men were jumped and scared not by the loud noise, but the reaction on Porsogon face. It was like a black fire was covering his eyes. They had only seen this expression of his when they were in battle one other time. They had already known that Porsogon had a terrible temper but he rarely let it out in front of others since he ought to act calm and collected most of the time.

Yilas who was struggling to clean the scaredy-cat Viosus who hated water in the creek, jumped out of fear when she heard the loud noise.

Viosus and Yilas both stopped the fooling around and turned their body toward a beast-man trampling aggressively their way.
