Its been two days since the incident on new years. The burn mark on my neck has faded a bit, but the pain was still there. I haven't spoke about it with anyone, with the whole dieing curse and all.
Sitting on my bed with my hands in my hair combing it back.
"Christ why me," I groaned. I didnt even make out their appearances. My glasses were too fogged up and that girl took my glasses away making my vision way worse. All I could tell was that they where a man and a girl. I doubt if I saw them again I would be able to tell.
"Al come down and help me move some boxes." Nan called from down stairs
"Coming," I shouted as I walked down the stairs with a black apron, black pants and a white buttoned up shirt.
I stopped when i saw the cafe area have three large boxes stacked on the tables.
"Got our new shipment of Teller series copies, today. Lucky they delivered before opening," a short Mixed women in her early thirties, dressed in the same manner as me, smiled widely at me.
"Are they all the Teller series?"
"No, the last one has some random books that i ordered that i thought you'd fine appealing." Nan ,or Natasha Greene my adoptive mother, pointed to the bottom stacked one.
"Wow thanks," I said in a monotoned voice.
"Your bad habits popping out," she picked up a few teller books and began to store them away in the mystery shelf.
"I ment it, can't really blame me." I put on a real forced smile, that Nan laughed as my face distorted.
"Don't force it your face it'll get stuck like that, than how will you snag a beauty then? " she grinned. "I love you all the same."

"Love you too Nan," she glared at my name for her.
"Oi, I told you im still in my prime, there's no Nan here." She hufffed with her british accent heavy on each word. Before she could finish nagging. The construction noise from outside crept inside the cafe.
"Their still at it today to?"
"I guess someone really payed for renovation at that house next door."
I never expect anyone to buy it because of its rought condition. That house had some other inhuman problems, so i don't think these new neighbors will stay long. With the recent creature growth here in london.
The door opened behind up as a boy walked in with a potted plant. He looked my age, he had a long grey trench coat and he looked highly annoyed. His hair stood out to me however, It was a unique color a platinum blonde I believe.
"Um...sorry where not open yet if you come back in an hour w-" I started.
"Tsk," his face scrunched up way more annoyed then before. Whats his problem?
"S.." He began.
" S-Sorry," he looked at the ground like he was embarrassed, which caught me off guard. "I'm just dilivering this," he held up the plant." My C-! Um Sister wanted me to deliver this to you as a hello gift." He looked back up as Nan walked up to him.
"Oh so you and your parents are moving in next door? And I apologize of im wrong, but I couldn't help but notice your voice, are you irish?" She asked taking the plant from him.
"Not exactly," he scratched his neck. "Oh, um... My sisters and I are. Our parents aren't really ar-," he stopped himself. " I ment our parents travel around alot f-for buissness, yeah. So its just us three, ma'am," he let out a cough.

" oh no need for any of that, Welcome to the london then, friend," Nan extended her hand to him. " Im Natasha and this is my son Al," she gestured to me.
"Victor," he smiled kindly as he shook her hand. Doing a complete 180 on how he was just moments before.
"Oh this is a rosemary, how nice I can put this in the kitchen," she started walking to the kitchen leaving me and Victor alone.
"Your mums nice," he said kind of quietly.
"Thanks hey um-" before I could talk a chim at the door caught our attention. A tall girl walked in, she with sunglasses and a large white hoody over her head walked in. She seemed kind of angry and annoyed when she walked up next to Victor.
"Victor, C" she stopped herself when she saw me. From that I could tell I was very puzzling to her." Have we met?" She walked closer to me with her glasses still on appearing like she was scanning me. I noticed she had a light greek like accent when she spoke. Though I myself was puzzled by her question.
" I dont think so," I replied. "I'm sorry but, can I help you?"
"This is my sister Chloe," Victor lightly pulled her back behind him. "Whats wrong?"
"C... O-Onix told me to find you, we have to get ready for tomorrow," she whispered to a point I almost didnt hear.
"Tommorow? Isn't that a bit soon?" He slicked his hair back showing off his thick brown eybrows, and long eyelashes, and elegant pale skin. But something felt off about these two. Something not necessarily bad, but it made my back chill.
"Alright!" Nan came out from the kitchen holding a small box," Oh? Is she this one of you sisters?"
She gripped the back of Victors coat as he nodded."Sorry she's really shy. We have to go now."
"Oh well here I got some cake from the back, as a thank you for the rosemary." She smiled at the quivering girl.
"Cake?" Chloe peeked over Victors shoulder. She slowly crept over accepting the cake, with a small smile. "It's been a while since we had cake together. What kind is it Miss?"
"Well its a mixed cake since im don't know which flavors you all liked. The green frosted one is pretty sour. The one with raspberry is chocolate and the yellow frosted one is marble."
She turned to Victor. "Onix will be happy, don't you think?"
Victor let out a small chuckle. "Yeah, but knowing her, she'll just munch that down in 10 seconds"
"Thank you Miss," Chloe smiled warmly.
"Have a nice day," Victor smiled as he opened the door for his sister.
"You too," Nan and I both said together.
"They seemed really nice," Victor said walking down to the house.
"Cake, Cake, Cake," Chloe sang quietly to herself. "Really nice. I guess I can deal with living here if I can buy cake from next door." She smiled.
"Hey speaking of, you said you recognize Al from somewhere right?"
"Al? Oh that human boy." She took a moment." Well i feel like I've seen that face before, but I cant really remember. I would ask captain but that's not really apart of are mission."
"I see. Well lets just get inside then."

When Plush comes to Shove
An: So the last synopsis wasn’t really all that good, it was just some mumbo jumbo with no actual point to it so I decided to make a new one that’s a bit more accurate. Leo Lush, just your average everyday (slightly chubby) schmuck, or at least he would be if he didn’t carry around a stuffed toy everywhere he went.I mean, he was a man who could read the atmosphere a bit so put it away in his bag whenever having a stuffed toy out would be rude but other than that he brought it with him all the time, it was a memento from his girlfriend who had died three years ago and keeping it close made him feel better. That’s also why his classmates gave him the nickname “Plush”, though that's neither here nor there. One day at the train station he’d lost his dearest stuffed toy, one of his classmates found it and lobbed it towards him, something that they’d already done many times before, but this time something went wrong and Leo found himself falling in front of the train due to the force of the throw. Now follow Leo as the spirit that developed in his stuffed toy and killed him forces his ghost into another world to possess a different stuffed toy. He doesn’t know much about the world or why he’s there but what he does know is that according to a magic book his girlfriend was also sent to this very world when she died in a plane accident three years ago. An: For those who want to know a bit more about what kind of story this will be: I want it to be a chill feel-good story and stay as far away from those despair-fest stories as possible (No offense to people who enjoy them, I’m just not one of you)Let me make something clear; I’m not writing this story with hope of it becoming really top tier among RRL (Though it did get above rank 500 once which I’m still very proud of even though it’s gone back down to ~850 at the time of writing this) I just want to write a story that I would enjoy reading, that’s why I’ll be mostly skipping over a lot of the parts that I skip when I read other stories, such as stats, the exact value of money and other such precise statistics that no one(as far as I’m aware) really cares about all that much. Just feels like a lot of effort for something superfluous. There’s a single exception and that’s one of the battles, it’s not a despair-fest or anything but it’s got a different feel than the rest of the story due to me being in a funky mood while I was writing it.
