《Spiritual Point》Chapter 8

"uuuggh.."
I woke up at the same place as earlier, which is the table. The difference would be that it's now clearly cleaned. I move my eyes to scan the room-
"So, Yah awake now kid?"
A bright flaming orb said to me with its strange burning brows furrowed. An expression ike I am a complete idiot.
Which, I totally did not disappoint.
"W-waaaahhhh?!! Am I dead? Is this heaven? Am I gonna go to hell?? Sorry god, I don't lust over my sister I promise! No incest going on there!!"
I frantically shouted as I backed off from the chair.
"Wow, this guy seriously have problems. Wonder if he would take some medicines? I have one you see, it's called "shut the fuck up already". Wonder If he'll like it?" The orb sarcastically said. Then I see on the corner of my sight the most wonderful person in the entire world.
"M-Ms. Anne! This freakish obviously Satan burning soul That is born from evilness is definitely going to rape and kill me?! H-help me, please!!"
"What the- THE FUCK YOU CALLED YOUR SAVIOR YOU LIL BITCH?!"
...I ignored the freakish obviously Satan burning soul that is born from true evilness that's totally gonna rape me alive until I will shout "kill me please" that would kill me in the end as I waited for her response.
Anne, at first just stared at me for a few good seconds until she burst out laughing.
"W-what the..."
"D-don't worry Kyle, that guy isn't like that!... though I kinda feel like you're about to cry and piss for some reason... pfft..!"
She said as he covered her mouth to laugh again.
"A-are y-you sure?" I asked, backing away from her this time as well.
''I'm sure Kyle, now stand up from the floor and take a seat once again please. "
She says with a reassuring smile that entices me. She gestures her hand once again towards the seat I just fell earlier. Embarrassed, I sit properly this time,
"Umm... how long was I out?" I asked her, curious and both scared of how much I would give trouble with Sis once again.
"Only around 3 minutes Kyle, That guy there-" she focuses her glare on the thing beside me, which is currently just spinning in circles, Creating some form of mini-ferris wheel like lighting.
"Pretty much immediately kept on pushing and trying to wake you up as Tristan was cleaning up our mess here.."
"...understandable." I answered to her while nodding, completely understanding the situation.
"...wat?" Was all the cause of the problems said.
"Anyway as you can see, that's the guy that possessed you last time."
"Yeah, I'm the wonderful Hero that saved the day! Praise me little Timmy!" Said by the Red fire mockingly.
"...and as you can see, we already have some trouble with It." Anne crossed her arms and rolled her eyes, totally disappointed and ashamed at it.
"Hey, at least I ain't gonna be an ass unlike this guy here." It said while revolving around my head, which isn't as pleasant as it looks like in my view.
"First is, How was it able to appear in here...?" I asked her, since it felt like she knew this was gonna happen. Seeing the red fire nod, I cam ascertain that it's asking the same question as I am.

"Well, you smell that incense burning since earlier?"
"Now that you mention it... I have been smelling it for some reason but I haven't seen any altar or some sort since I woke up..." I replied, just noticing and plenty curious on where this scent is originating from and if what does it do exactly.
Anne smirks and stands up, her black, braided hair shining through the sunlight. She starts walking back and forth in the room, Her steps echoing in the silence that's only filled with noises of chirping birds outside.
"In the second floor, is an entire floor dedicated for our altar, arts, and worships. Thus, from it's walls, altars, doors, and many more are filled with candles filled with incense that has a "unique" form of smoke that makes our brain open at least 50% of it's capabilities. Thus, opening the "mind's eye" Which allows us, humans to percieve spiritual energy. Its otherwise better known by you people as the "third eye"."
She said while crossing her arms on her chest and closing her eyes.
"So..."
Surprised, I turned and see the red fire have a look of strange realization.
"So... you're telling me that this entire fucking building is filled with weed smoke."
Wait, what?
Anne had a look like she realized something so horrible but has just known it despite having it for years. Huh, what a strange description of mine.
"...yes. this entire mansion, is filled with weed."
She confirms The red fire's assumption.
"H-huh... n-no wonder I am more of a wimpy kid right now..." I said, realizing just why I have been feeling more weird and paranoid that I normally am.
"Yeah, no wonder I'm feeling more active and... horny.(wait, what) in a totally 'spiritually way'. Awesome."
Said by the addicted one with it's eyes rolled to the back.
"So.... Can you tell us your name umm...?" I asked the red flame.
The red flame stopped moving, then just kept on looking at the ceiling. It's face was cramped like it's in completely deep thought. The pressure that it released felt like it would drop it's sweat from the brainstorm. Of course, it won't since it's a literal fire but you get my point.
It suddenly looked downwards as if giving up.
"Art. My name is art."
It answered to me with an expression like it would kill me if I asked.
"...w-wait, That's it? What about your last name?" I stuttered, my face changing into one of disbelief.
"Yeah about that... I don't remember." It said as it averted its sight from my own.
However, considering the circumstances, I took a breath and let that simple outrageous fact sink in me. For now, I continue my question since it just pretty much ignored me.
"So.. w-why are y-you here ummm... Mr. Art...?" I asked it, assuming that it was a boy. Of course I braced myself for any possible physical damage if it was a girl but since It didn't react, I was saved.
"Kid, I said it earlier. I don't remember shit. Rather, I don't even know why the fuck I am here. All I know is suddenly, bam! I got here and I sent have any idea why! I may even be the best example of a guy with existential crisis yet." He said abruptly. Which took the best out of me to calm down. I can't do an idiotic move again. Not at all.

"So... Why did you choose me...? Of all the people, why me...?" I asked him that one final question. That one question that bugged me from the start.
I just want to know. Why did he chose me? There are several people out there, even more better than myself. Yet he chose me. Why? Were there some form of connection between the two of us? Did we meet in the past? Do I have a strange secret that I somehow don't know myself? Just, why me...?
"Oh, I just chose you on a whim."
Wait what.
Seeing my expression that reflects a face of insanity from pure disbelief, if sighs and as if leaning to a chair (despite not having one in the first place) it looks at the ceiling while having a look of someone reminiscing on their memories.
"That night. I was so lost and confused. Perhaps more confused than a Homeless man under house arrest. I questioned my existence. Why am I here In this world? Was there something I needed to understand? I took my time to Roam in this world..."
"Oh... That feels so harsh... sorry about that..." I said, tearing up a bit as such a pure soul was just actually a victim of a sudden tragic event.
"...Is what I wanna fucking fucking say but the truth is that I just woke up inside a bunch of pipes. Full of shit. Hear me?! Full of fucking shit! Then when I tried to move upwards from underground while avoiding shit as much as possible, you... YOU.... Y O U .... YOU FUCKING MORON... Actually stepped on me and I got dragged on this shit. However, my mind was still pretty cloudy that time so I didn't realized much of what was happening. So I just got stuck with you and your lame ass bicycle as you fuckig flew ten feet off the ground and fell to the roof of the freaking auditorium, like it's just a Saturday morning of yah folks!"
...I retract my previous statement.
"So, Of course as a benevolent spirit, I stayed patient and took mah time understanding this world. After a while, I got a sense of self. Which I immediately used my time to talk to you for the first time. Only for me to fail for my first times. Times such as when I was trying to talk to you in your dream, when you are alone in the clinic, etc, etc. Sadly for me, You're so fucking weak that I can't even conduct a normal conversation with you. But of course, Dear good Art here is still as divine as ever. I didn't give up yet and thought that perhaps one day, you may be able to listen to me! So I waited, and waited. Until one night, while the full moon was out, You finally took notice on me! I still felt that sense of enjoyment and glee the moment that your iris saw me. However, that sense was changed to a sense of disappointment exactly 5 seconds later. I mean, shit. I fucking wait persistently for days and I get ignored the first time I actually got your fucking attention??!! Kiss my ass, I ain't wasting my time for that bullcrap motherfucker! Anyway So that's my little story, I suggest May you fuck off now? You whiny bitches already know the rest anyway."
"..."
"Wow, Kyle. You might be the worst kind of a guy I ever known in this world." Said by Anne, amazed at my idiocy.
"...I know, Sorry... b-but in my defense, Anyone would have done it at that situation." I tried to plead my only dignity left.
"Yeah, so common that you would ignore the guy you fucked up, huh? Don't you know the thing called "screaming?" Because I would have rather taken that actually rather than being ignored like I am fucking nothing." Art rebutted painfully. To which, shot me like a bullet straight the heart.
Wow... that really hurt.
"W-well... I don't want to ruin the awkward moment here but there's still a pretty Important issue we need to talk about here..." Anne has her face cramping as she tries to force a conversation that seems pretty important to be pushed at this point.
"Yeah, about that you lousy glasses girl... why the hell do I have to be stuck with this mofo in the first place?" Art said, perhaps just wanting to get rid of me. And considering what happened, I can't complain. I actually agree on this one for the best after least.
"The thing is... that would be impossible. You two cannot be separated anymore... Spiritual Points have unique spiritual energy that forces most spirits into being locked into the body for usage. And even if I can, I won't do so. After all, I will need the two of you. "
""Eh..? Why?"" Art and I simultaneously replied with shocked, raised voices.
"The two of you will help me uncover the secrets of this city. Of what may be happening in the hidden shadows of this place. And I want us to exterminate it before it could possibly get any worse as much as possible." Anne said as she looked to our eyes, as cold and stern yet full of determination. Determination of a goal that we fail to comprehend.
"E-eh? B-but why Ms. Anne? I-I don't want to fight... I don't want to f-face trouble...-" I mumbled as I tried to back down but I was interrupted.
"Kyle. You won't find trouble, I guarantee that. 'Trouble will find you'. Such are the fate of Spiritual Points. "
I just give her a confused, Quizzical look. She chuckles to herself.
As if to break the awkward silence, Tristan appears from the doorway and walks majestically towards Anne. He whispers something to her ear which Anne nodded on agreement. She fixes herself and speaks to me again.
"Don't worry Kyle, You'll come to me yourself. I know it. You may take your time about my offer to you, in the mean time, Your Sister has arrived now it seems. So let us see each other tomorrow Kyle. I will be waiting." She said with her cheerful smile.
