Gavin Auguste currently sat on his chair watching the people passing by him with a bored look. He had been the chief guard of the Auguste Clan for the last 15 years, having seen all types of people on this vast road, be it Peasants, Nobles, young hot-blooded youth and old people with one leg already in their graves. Having observed people for the last 15 years, Gavin could say confidently that he was good at being able to know what one was thinking by their facial expressions.

The Great Fiefdom of the Auguste Household, The Endless mountains was the most massive Fiefdom of the Imperium, belonging to the Auguste Clan even before the Founding of the Imperium. Gavin turned his attention back to the road looking at all these youths with disdain. Out of all the teenagers that partake in the recruitment exam more than 70% of them are eliminated or dead.

Even then among these youths he felt attuned to some of them, he could feel a power resonating between them mainly with those who possessed talent in the elements of Ice and Water. On the continent of Iris, many professions existed. The Two Strongest professions were Magician or Warrior, or that was what was told to the masses of the continent. Gavin as a member of the Auguste Clan even though it was only a branch of the family had the privilege to know many stuff others would usually never get to know in the entirety of their lives such as the fact that a Magician or Warrior was merely a Mid-Tier profession.

For example, the Augustus Household was a family that had a secret profession in their bloodline one that genuinely horrifying and ancient, Gavin only knew this much as he did not have the privilege to know more than this, however, the power of the Auguste Clan was one of the most influential forces on the continent.

The Auguste Clan was really known as a mighty noble Clan from the times their ancestors settled in the Endless Mountains they were the only family who survived in the Endless Mountains for the past centuries because they were a family that was extraordinarily united and they heeded the wisdom of their elders. One of the reasons the Auguste family survived in the brutal Endless Mountain was because of one of their most potent strengths was learning from there ancestors failures and taking an example of their achievements, this caused them to grow in power each generation.

The Auguste territory was situated On the Edge of the Endless Mountain Range where the family's primary duty was to protect the realm from magical beasts invading, this made the clan highly experienced at warfare coupled with their magical talents. On the continent of iris, those who could become mages were extremely few with skills being ranked from Tier 1 to Tier 10. The Auguste bloodline granted one many special powers with one of them being to have a greater pool of energy that regular people did not have, this was seen by the fact that the minimum talent the Auguste Clan produced was Tier 4 and they had a few different geniuses at tier 9 and 10.

As Gavin was in deep thought his assistant, who was guarding alongside him suddenly shook him out of his dreams.

"What are you doing waking me up like that" as Gavin was annoyed he could not help but raise his voice

" Oh, are you not going to greet me" a powerful voice suddenly made way to his ears.

As Gavin looked at the location of the voice, he was shocked to see that the voice belonged to none other than then the Third Young Master.
