Nico

"THIS IS IT?" Niche asked the moment they arrived at the warehouse where the call was traced.

The warehouse wasn't much. It was rundown, had a lot of rust and holes in it. You wouldn't believe much less notice it was a hideout for the world's most dangerous terrorist group, a swarm of rats and stray hounds maybe.

"Come on. We got three hours left." Nica announced.

He checked his watch and saw it was already nine in the evening.

The four of them went inside, weapons ready. They checked the warehouse, it was suspiciously quiet. And there was no one standing guard. They went deeper inside the warehouse. When they reached a room, Dr. Crazy was there, but their parents, were nowhere to be found.

"Where are they?" Nica asked in a dangerously low voice.

"Well, you came earlier than I thought. As for your parents, they're........ somewhere." a smirk formed in his lips.

"If you won't give us our parents, we won't give you the Codex!" Niche yelled.

"Oh, I know. But you see, the big boss, saw you as a liability. We'll take the Codex and capture you! We can use you as the human trials!" Dr. Crazy snapped his fingers and a few men in black suit emerged from who knows where.

"Yep. It was a trap." Nis muttered.

"Too late to regret now, don't you think?" Nico said.

"Get ready to fight." Niche told the three of them.

Nico focused himself. He saw some of the men went to his direction and surrounded him. One attacked him and knocked his gun out of his hand.

"Oh come on!" he yelled.

He kicked the man who attacked him and was able to land a blow on the face. The man skidded on the floor, unconscious.

"Who's next?" he said in a taunting voice. He noticed his siblings also doing well as him.

Niche was using her speed and strength and knocked out the bad guys. Nis was using his inventions; pen lasers, pen net, pen tranquilizer-- seriously, he couldn't get why most of Nis' inventions involved a pen. Nica seemed to be holding off on her own too. She was using her flexibility, speed and strength. He also saw Dr. Crazy on his seat, his smirk wasn't fading.

Nico went to face his enemies again. All of them were attacked him. He dodged and parried his attackers' attacks. He used everything he learned from the FBI and a few techniques his dad taught the four of them.

After a few minutes, bodies littered the floor. The Warren siblings stood over them, and they were facing the only enemy left, Dr. Crazy.

"Dr. Collusus," Nico still couldn't believe how Nica could say his name without twisting her tongue. "Give us our parents back." she took the black headphones from her backpack. Nis gave it to her earlier, to secure it.

"Hmm. I suppose Libero trained you too well Nica." Dr. Crazy chuckled. "Well then, I guess world domination can wait. Let's play a game."

"Oh shit." Nica cursed.

"Let's see. You try and find your parents. Emphasis on 'try'. If you're able to find them, without any help from the government, we'll give them back, we won't take the Codex, we'll give up on world domination and you're free to go. You have a week." he said.

"But what if we don't find them within the time limit?" Nico asked.

"Well, we can always track the Codex, which we won't do within the time limit, we'll apprehend all four of you and you'll be our human trials for the Astil Codex without contest. Oh, we'll be sending toys after you. You know, a bit of a challenge." Dr. Crazy suddenly took out a gun. "Now, before that."

He fired the gun and hit Nico. Two bullets embedded itself on his left leg and one hit his left arm. He fell to the ground and howled in pain. Nico's three siblings ran to him and put pressure on his wound.

"Now don't go hating me. You guys are smart, strong, cunning and the likes. We need a handicap. Now one final handicap." he opened a silver case and it revealed a bomb, the timer only shown two minutes left. "Ta! Ta!" And Dr. Crazy ran out the door.

"The.... bomb." Nico managed to wheeze out from the pain.

Nica went to the bomb. "It's a mercury based bomb! I can't stop it! We need to get out of here!" she helped Nico up and they ran out of the warehouse.

Nico's head throbbed that he didn't notice the immediate absence of Nis and Niche. "Where are Niche and Nis?" he managed to ask.

"What?" he saw Nica looked around but found no one. "Tch! We got separated! I hope they're alright! We only got thirty seconds tops to get out of here!" she supported his weight. "Ugh, how can you be so heavy when you don't even have much built!"

They stumbled upon an alley when they heard the bomb go off. The explosion reached the two of them and Nico felt his body slam on the wall. He felt the pain of his wounds flare up and he blacked out.
