Monster: A generalisation for animals, Name-giver species, and more rarely magical beast or dragons, who have been deformed physically and mentally by an exposition to hight output of mana in a "short" time window. Often call individualy "monstruous" followed by their "parent" species name (aka: Montruous bear, monstruous human) ; these creature are stronger than their "parent species". The only real generality we can make about them is that their is no patern, no similarity between two individuals, or so is the consensus about them.

What we know for sure is that their mind is so warped by the wild magical energy that the only thing they do is hunting and killing. Nearly inexhaustable, as long as they eat (never entirely) prey who have sufficient mana in their body; they go on a rampage killing everything, even their own species, or their own pack/herd(...) if they had one still alive.

There is one thing that physically they all share and that show without mistake they are monster: their glowing and "smoking" violet eyes (if they had one before) and their violet vein which are visible one one part or another ;most of the time ner the head or the heart. And probably the consequence of their need for mana they often hunt those who have the most mana the first.

Before them five magicaly warped wolf appeared, drooling like rabies one, with spike growing on their back, and lunching themselves at them without any thought. The girls were a bit stunned for less than a second, monster shouldn't hunt in group! And that moment was what forced them to jump to the side, separating them. Three were looking at Tomoe, one more than those looking at Xia He, but she had the biggest one.

Even without the coordination that a wolf pack should have, fighting more than one at the same time is not a simple thing. Seeing what they were against, Xia He made a surprisingly powerful roar like those of a tiger.

At the camp, the Master was scolding the others. Even him thought they pushed the girls too much, moreover one of them should had killed for the first time! Before the angry Master nobody wispered a thing, even at other time, but then, even they thought that they had done it too much. Just as Master Chen was ending his rebuck, a powerful but a bit faraway roar was heard! Master Chen didn't had to wonder who it was, nor why, the roar had the subtle variation for mortal danger!

Chen - Guy! Ten with me, others on lookout!

Most of the other, in fact all the therianthrope knew what was telling the roar, and a few other who had been with them for a long time knew it quickly too. And as nearly none of them had let go of their arms nor armors, in less than 3 second, eleven therianthrope were on the run at full speed, they were some of the most experienced and those who knew Xia He the best.

Back at the girls the situation wasn't good. Separated by the first attack and the wolfs frenzy ways, they couldn't rejoin. Even more, Tomoe who had three of them attacking her was puch back a few step at time. And the growing distance made both of the girls worried.

In less than 15 seconds, Tomoe was puched back so much that they couldn't see each others! The wolfs weren't unscathed but they didn't seems to care, and some even seems to regenerate! Fortunately the only ways they were attacking was by jumping on their prey, on rushing to attack their legs.

Xia He had made a good use of her jumping capacity, slashing at the wolf under her, breaking sometimes the uneven spike on their back. but every time the other was charging just behind or just after, forbading her to advance were she wanted.

When she couldn't see Tomoe anymore, her heart, who was beating fast because of the battle, seems to shrink and something in her snapped. She roared a second time, but this one was of anger and of death.

She jump back again two times, but this time it was willingly, and with more power. While she was jumping she got rid of her gauntlet, launching them at the face of the to monster. Launched like that they wouldn't do anything significant, even with the unsuspected weight! But it was enought to stun them just the two second she needed when they struck them on the nose!

She put her hand on the earth, and growled like a beast. And in the seconds the two warped being were stuned and needed to readied themself; she let her inner beast took the lead. For most therianhrope that would be to just let their anger and bestiality lead them, but for her it was a totaly different thing.

Indiscible pain, and pleasure like no other spread through her whole being. Something like a mist with lots of small light envelopped her and beginned to expend drastically. In just a few second the glowing mist receded letting visible a sligtly big silvery white tiger! Faster than before, it charged the wolfs while roaring.

In one powerful jump she was on the closest one! She slashed him on the head with her two clawed paws one just after the other. One eye explosed under the assault, and blood surged in a spray. The other wolf not carring jump on her right side to bite her forelegs. She roared under the pain, but turned her head to bite his neck! She didn't seems to care about one spike growing forward from his spine. When she closed her jaw she did break it, but a part runed through the side, breacking a few teeth and her cheek. but at the same time she broke his neck, perforated his artery, sending him to hell with just a last jolt.

The other tried to jump and bite her neck but just to torn a bit of skin before lending awkwardly due to the miss. turning her head even with the other, she clawed his neck but keeped him locked under her paw. With the other, she clawed a few times his flank, shredding it to pieces with his heart.

When Master Chen and the other heard the deathly roar they cursed fate. Each on know what was happening, it wasn't know to the whole caravan, only the trusted and they knew something was not right. She wouldn't Shift with Tomoe so near at this time. They knew the two had bondedmore than she had whith any-other and even they wanted the titan to stay with them. She was a good girl, she knew how to defend herself, even more, but most of all, she was becoming a friend to Xia He something she never really had, not with a girl her age. But showing her That, was to much to soon! She already had to show her a partial shift, and that already had cause her so much problem! So they pushed themselves even if they were so near. When they saw her, she just had killed the second, as they weren't seeing anything threatening they eased themselves. Just Chen was still going full speed to stop himself in front of her.

Seeing him appearing before her, seems to not matter, she just tried to pass on his side. But she was stop when he side step before her. She tried a second time, for him to block her again, to which she growled menacingly!

Master - Where is she?

He was serious, and feared what had happened. It was the first time since a long time ago, when she didin't knew him well, that she menaced him! She just looked behind him before growling at him again. The other were quite stunned, they knew how much she loved the Master, he was like a father to her, her family having got rid of her because of the Shit when she was just 7 ! They were so surprised they just looked. Master hadn't need more than that, but instead of letting her go, with him obviously, he spoke again.

Let me help you get rid of that before. If she's still in danger that won't help you save her !

He didn't say that she would just frightened her even more, obviously she wasn't thinking of that, she was just too much worried. He just hope Tomoe was as gentle and as much a friend than he hoped.

Clearly, the big tiger didn't seems to like the thought of not going NOW, but the look in Master Chen eyes... She couldn't understand, in that form she was more of an animal, her thinking a bit simpler, animal just don't do subtility. But she liked him enought to let him get rid of that distinging weight if he could do so in a flash ! So she opened her jaws and let him unstruck the spike who even if most of it was broken, it was still attached to the wolf enough to not let her get rid of it easily.

That out of the way, they both could run to the last girls hopping she was still alive, the other 10 just a second or two late. They didn't needed 10 second a top speed to see her but...
