"Mom, Dad I finished planting these crops so may I go now." When I yelled this to my parents my dad came out of the cottage in which my family called home and then he proceeded to walk towards me but he was stumbling a little bit due to his bad leg.

When my dad stood in front of me he just looked at me from above and narrowed his eyes at me. To my dad's stare I decided to look at him right in the eye because I wasn't willing to back down on the decision I made.

After a long while of us both staring at each other my dad just closed his eyes and let out a long sigh and said to me "Son I as a father must say that you must reconsider your decision you just can't leave and stay at that school it is for your own safety because if you do go then-".

Before my dad could say another word I interrupted him and said "Dad I know you're worried about me and with good reason but if you think about it there is no choice but for me to go to this school because if I don't then my life as of right now will be going downhill and you know that dad." As I said all of this my dad stayed silent and stared at the ground but then he raised his head and he said "Then son you could work at the farm with us that's no problem is it."

When my dad said that I felt an intense headache coming to me and shortly after I shouted at him scrunching my face at the same time "Dad are you freaking out of your mind what you suggested is just illegal sure I can help but I can't make farming my job or work anywhere unless I go to this school for at least 3 years. That is why I'm going right now because now I only have 3 days until I become 15 which is the minimum requirement for me to be able to join any school around here. If I at least survive the school 2 years then I will be able to get a job or have a chance to getting hired you fully know this Dad as in the past both you and my mom did this yourselves and the proof of your job is magically engraved in your right hand there is no way to fake that so I need to go no matter what or else there will be no chance of me surviving in the future!".

When I finished shouting everything I had to say I needed to gulp a huge amount of air as my breathing was ragged and I kept watching my dad who at some point had again stared to the ground. As my breath became less ragged I began to be calmer every breath I took in and out and after a long silence between me and my dad I with a more softer,serene voice said "Dad i'm going it is a 3 day walk from here to school and I have already packed up everything necessary in my bag which is in my room. Dad thank you so much for taking care of me and showing genuine love to me but it is time for me to go and i'm sorry for this."

I began to walk to the cottage my home ever since I was a baby and when I arrived in front of the cottage my mom was waiting for me. My mom stood in front of the door but then she just moved aside and I could see her tears ever so slowly flowing down her cheeks falling down to the ground beneath her.

The only thing I could do was bite my lip and continue on as I open the door I quietly said to my mom "I'm so sorry." I continued walking on until I reached my room and took the bag I prepared for and I immediately scurried out of my room,out of the cottage, out of the fields, and now I'm on a path which will lead me to school I did all of this while looking at the ground.

When I raised my head up and look back I still see that my parents are standing in the same place I left them and after a little while of staring I just closed my eyes, let out a big breath and concentrated on the path I'm on and as I turned my back to them the only thought I had before walking on was "I will survive this school no matter how bad they are to me for my parents the only fortune I had these past years and for my life in the future. Even if I don't have a name or a status due to that incident I will still withstand anything that comes my way and continue on no matter what.".
