Chapter 2
"Here you go!"
"Thanks!"
Today I was wearing my armor.
I received the weapon that I requested from the dwarf. The silver halberd shimmer from the light of the sun. Since the item to make this weapon is iron, which is very hard to obtain, and also he said he mix some kind of metal. I paid him one gold coin and left the shop. As I held my new halberd on my right hand, I paid close attention to the map which I receive from Ms. Matilda, after I wake up I eat my breakfast and ask Ms. Matilda if she have a map then she handed me a map of the city.
"There it is!"
I'm looking at a two-story building made of wood. The entrance is a wooden veranda and inside the building are people wearing various kinds of armor and holding different weapons. This establishment is called "Adventurers Guild" a guild that receive quest from various people in exchange of a reward money, the adventurers accept the request whether if it was about monster subjugation or escorting nobles on their travel, there are various quest that has been put on the bulletin board. This is a job for capable people to earn more income than various people on this city, well the income is deferent for other adventurers, the higher the rank of an adventurer the higher income they will receive. The ranks dictates on which kind of quest you will be receiving, the lowest rank are F which can only receive work inside the city and doesn't have any combat experience, the highest rank is S. Rank S adventurers are some sort of heroes of the city, they can subjugate higher ranking monster like dragons and more, the rank system is to help the adventurers gain experience. If a rank F accept a quest to subjugate a dragon then surely the lower ranking adventurer will die, in order for your rank to increase then you must received various request to increase your own combat abilities. You will then enter an examination to test your combat capabilities. I learned this things from asking a battle slave on the arena, that slave is a former adventurer that has a huge debt and since he hasn't paid it he turned into a slave, that slave though is not here anymore.

"Little miss, are you lost?"
A bald person sitting on a table while holding a mug on his hand suddenly ask me.
"If your here to deliver that weapon to your master then you can leave it to the reception desk."
He thinks I'm a slave. Since I'm a beastman I know why he thinks of me like that. 89% of beastman in this world are a slave, beastmans are being captured by slave traders from around the world, we beastman have stronger strength compared to a human but we beastman are in the state of poverty. That's why some beastman parents sold their children to slave traders for money.
I ignore the bald man and continue my walk to the reception desk.
"How may I help you? If your really delivering that weapon to your master then we can keep it till he/she comes!"
Behind the desk are a blond woman, she may heard the words of the bald man, I sigh and answered her in return.
"I'm here to register as an adventurer! And I'm not a slave!"
I answered in a cold tone. The lady seemed surprise but regain her senses after.
"I'm sorry, then fill out this form or I can write it for you."
"I'll write it myself."
I took the paper and a pen from the desk.
The paper only ask about information about myself.
Such as, what is my name, age, sex, class, weapon, and also race.
I've been thinking this but the people here don't know me.
Well, only nobles have the luxury to watch in the arena, I don't think this barbarians can even watch or have any pleasure from watching. As I look at them, they are trashing the place, those drunk barbarians.
"Here!"

"Thank you Ms. Hal."
I hide my real name and only write the nickname master had given me.
I hid it so that I will not gain any attention, I've receive a letter from master, that nobles that know me are having a transaction to some slave traders to capture me. I know I can defend myself, but the world are not nice all the time so I just have to be not the center of attention.
"Your quite younger to be an adventurer huh!"
"Is there something about an age restriction?"
"No, it's just I'm surprised. Well anyways, there are others just like you anyways, earning money to live."
My age are 11 years old. I'm really quite young to be able to kill monsters huh.
As for class, I just put warrior, since I can't just right there gladiator.
Gladiators are a class only for people that fight in the arena.
"Then let's proceed to the next step. Follow me."
We entered a dark room with only me and the woman from before.
On the center of the room an altar is standing there.
"Place your hand on the altar."
I reach my hand and place it on the altar. Suddenly, a bright light wraps my arm.
After the light subside, I felt something underneath my hand.
I raise my hand and a card can be seen.
"This will be your adventurer's card. This can also show your status and also all your basic information. Also, this card can save your finished quests and all your achievements."
The card looks similar to the status card I already own.
Status card can only show my status but an adventurer's card can also benefit me more than the status card.
"Congratulation! You are now an adventurer."
