After receiving a silver coin from Rebilious and buy a map of the city for 28 Takka (Copper Coins)- Adger found Adventurer's Guild. A beautiful girl (Shila) on the reception desk said "You cannot become an Adventurers' unless you are 18 years old or above" Adger was 17 years old at that time, Adger went out in the city to pass the time he had and came back to the guild after an hour or so and insisted on taking the test in order to join guild when Shila responded to Adger's words with "Huh? You are suddenly 18 years old now? Did you grow a whole year within an hour? "After Verifying Adger's age, She asked him to wait 30min for his results.

{ Adventurer's Guild - Waiting Room }

Adger Opened Waiting Room's door. There were only a few people in the room, Chating with each other, wearing a protecting gear and some had a sword hanging on their sides while others didn't.

Adger didn't pay much attention to them

'Atypical fantasy world, Huh? ' (Adger)

and started searching for an empty table

'Empty table, Empty table--

He observed the whole room, searching for an empty table and He found one- In the middle of the room, As if someone intentionally left it out and avoided this table.

" There it is! " (Adger)

He headed towards the empty table he saw which was in the middle of the room, but suddenly Adger stopped walking when he heard a voice

"Hey Kid, are you lost? what are you doing here? " (Nicknamed by Adger -Old Man)

Adger looked at the person who just said that and He saw a man in his 30's (Middle Aged Looking Person), Looking directly at Adger- Staring down at him.

"Huh? Old man, I am not lost nor I am a kid! I am an Adventurer or will be, in half an hour or so. " (Adger)

"What did you say, Kid? Hahaha, Did you hear that, guys? He is a newcomer, Greet him properly!" (Old man)

And everyone in that room, Greeted Adger with a laugh and Made him a laughing stock. Adger started walking again towards the empty chair.

Adger became a topic of their chat, Few of those lines were like

" I bet, He will be among one of those -Dead Bodie found but in pieces "

" nobody gonna hire him for anything "

" kid, go home this not job for you, play with your fellow kids "

Adger silently sat on the chair with silence-

{20 Min Later }

A girl came at the door of the Waiting room and Called out Adger

"Adger? Come over here. " (Unknown Girl)

"Yea, I am Coming.. " (Adger)

With that reply, Adger left the chair and stood up and when Adger started walking, He once again heard a voice but this it was not the old man, This time The person who spoke was young- Perhaps a companion of the old man

" This guild has not fallen to the point where it has to recruit small kids and Guild Master, He is no fool- This kid, He will be rejected by the Guild Master. But still, (Shouts out towards Adger) Hey, Kid! somehow, By a miracle or by a mistake- Even if Guild Master allows to you be an Adventurer, Don't you fucking dare to walk inside this guild again, If I saw you in the guild- You'll never walk on feet again.. " (Companion of Old Man)

Though This companion of the old man, In the first few lines, showed concerns for This young kid who intends to join an Adventurer's Guild which is regarded as a dangerous job though His last lines, In those lines His hostility towards Adger was clear as day. The old man only made fun of Adger but this person, He was seriously showing hostility towards Adger and Adger had realized that and while keeping that in mind, Adger replied to the person- It was the first time for Adger to face a hostile person.

" Are you serious? Aha, But Of course you are, What I am even asking-- but you know what? You will die in an instant if you face me- Even before you could unseat your sword. So, Just.... stop.... it......" (Adger)

The Old Man's Companion was enraged when He heard Adger says that and So much that, He stood up in rage and unsheath his sword and pointed it directly towards Adger

"What did you say? I will die instant? YOU ARROGANT BR...!!" (The Old Man Companion)

"What are you doing?!! He is just a kid! Stop it! " (The Old Man) Said the old man while he tried to grab his companion hands to stop him doing anything rash but...

When the old man looked at Adger, He saw this kid pointing a strange thing directly towards his companion, He looked at Adger's eyes--

"But! Did you hear what this kid just said? He needs to be taught some manners! " (Old Man Companion)

"Calm down! Russhel! You are pointing your sword towards a kid!!? I know you are having problems with your life but it's not like taking out your anger on others will help you! You Fool! " (Old Man)

With a sudden realization of his action and that it was his frustration that made him act like that, He retracted his sword and while putting it back in a scabbard-

" *urgh* Whatever.. " (Russhel)

But Adger was still standing still in silence, Pointing his gun towards Russhel

"and Kid, put that thing away! Meeya was calling for you, wasn't she? " (Old Man)

Adger strengthened his grip on the handle of his gun-- but then

"Fucking empty threats .." (Adger) said indistinctly and He also retracted his gun

Meanwhile Russhel- 'This fucking arrogant brat... I'll fucking teach him how harsh reality is! '

Back At the Reception Desk- Adger came back to Reception Desk In Hope to Collect his guild Card.

" Are you Adger? " Asked a girl to Adger when he walked to reception's desk

"Yea, I am. Who are you and Where is Shila? my Guild Card is ready? " (Adger)

Seeing this kid, The girl put a smile on her face which could be easily distinguished from a real smile and a fake one- The smile she put on her face was an obviously forced one, 'Who is this kid? So Rude! At least, Introduce yourself properly! *sigh* well, it's not like I should expect manners while working at an Adventurer's Guild.'

"My name is Meeya. Shila had to do something so, I am filling up for her. Well, Adger, Congratulation! you are accepted in Guild By Guild Master! " (Meeya)

Meeya was holding a card on her hand while she extended her hand towards Adger. Adger seemed a little disappointed for a brief moment but the excitement of being an Adventurer took over quickly 'Aha, Damn it! I wanted to receive it from Shera! *arg* Can't help it! '

"Sweet! Thank you, Dear Meeya. " (Adger)

"Eh? What! " (Meeya) with a flustered face

'Oh shit! I totally forgot about calling girls Dear it is like purposing to them! I should clear this misunderstanding right away! ' {Adger}

" Aha sorry! I didn't mean it that way, 'Dear' used as an affectionate or friendly form of address in my village! " (Adger)

' THIS LITTLE BASTARD! Purposing to me out of blue and then telling me that it was a mistake! Wait, I am angry cause it was a mistake? AGGHRRH CALM DOWN YOU!' {Meeya}

Meeya successfully calmed down herself from the shock she received from Adger's sudden proposal, With a serious expression on her face- She said

" *Ahem* Now that you are adventurer, You should know there are rules to follow as long as you are a member of the gui.... (Looks At Adger) You, What are you doing? " (Meeya)

Adger was staring at Meeya's face, Amazed- 'I cannot believe it! How can someone put curtains on their true personality so quickly? She looks like a big sister type of girl, who always looks after her younger siblings but the face she showed earlier was of a girl who... Who? There is no way I can explain it though I can say, The expression on her was really cutest, Maybe I should go after her instead of Shera? Aha, I can't decide! Whom I should go after? A girl who looks and gives you the impression of being always serious but shows cute expressions in an unexpected way when she gets flustered or the girl who is born to look cute? ' (Adger )

While Adger was deciding on the girl he wants to be the heroine of his life, Meeya flicked on Adger's forehead

"Ouch, Ouch! What are you doing? " (Adger)

"That my line! What are you even doing? Are you sure you want to be an Adventurer? You will die like this in the fieldwork! if you lose your concertation like this! " (Meeya)

'Eh? She was.. Damn! I think she won!' (Adger)

"So.. cute.. " (Adger) said Adger, Having smirk on his face.

'Damn this brat! Pissing me off! Come back when you are old enough! ' (Meeya "Anyways, I will explain rules and ranks to you now-- So focus! The rules of Guild are simple and People in the guild are divided into ranks " (Meeya)

Ranks In The Adventurer's Guild

There are Four types of Ranks In Guild and It will be the same for all other branches

Sort by Highest To Lowest

1 - S Ranks

2 - G Rank { A Single Letter Rank}

3 - A To D Ranks

4 - E Rank {A Single Letter Rank}

The first type, which is above all of the other ranks is S- It is divided into three separate parts

S Ranks: Are Legendary Ranks

S Rank: Only a few people hold this rank in the whole world and they barely do any quest-

SS Rank: No one in the world holds this rank, But there was a person who could be regarded as SS Rank Adventurer but since he never joined any guild and he wasn't even a human so, in a way- No one held this rank, not that I know of-

SSS Rank: You can call it a mythical rank- I don't understand why this rank still exists!

G Rank: Is a single letter rank and Only a single person can hold this rank in a branch. You call G ranker, Guild Master. Yea, That's the Guild Master. For Guild Master, Quest usually is about drama in the political affairs of Guild and To Maintain Guild.

Above G Rank, They don't require to do normal quests and will be paid by a monthly wage but they are allowed to normal quests if they wanna earn more money and will be paid accordingly to the quest they did.

A To D Ranks:

A Rank: Are the adventurers which are often called when the town is in danger, they don't require to do quests but to earn money, they have to do quests since they don't earn money by doing quests only. (NO MONTHLY WAGE UNLESS YOU ARE A G RANK OR ABOVE G RANK.)

Below A Rank is your typical Adventurer, Whom you often see in your village or in the forest, Hunting Monsters- Creating Parties- Blah Blah.

E Rank: Is a single letter Rank

E Rank is a mockery for an Adventurer Since it is regarded as a way to refer Adventurer who have yet to do a single quest- You will pass this rank once you successfully completed a single quest in 7 days, Or else, You will be thrown out of the guild. This first quest is given by Guild Master to evaluate the rookie

Now For The Rules

You will be put in Rank D after you succeed in your first Beginner Quest which will be given to you by guild master himself. The quest from Guild Master can be anything.

After that, your Total Quests points will determine your rank and the first Milestone after achieving rank D is 200

points to reach C,

for D 500,

for B 1500,

and for A 5000 points.

When you reach 10000 points you can participate in the G Rank exam but if you failed your 5000 quests point dedicated from your total quest points. (By the way, You gotta earn extra 5000 points by doing quests)

For S Ranks, They will be explained to you when you reach rank A

Quest's Point is written on quests, points are determined by their difficulty.

You can take the jobs (Board Quests) once you are in Rank D, and you will only able to take quests of below the current milestone of your rank

To put it simply, You cannot take a job that offers while you are in D, Which offers points that exceed the C Rank milestone or D Rank Milestone. What it means is, While you in D, You can only accept a request that offers points less than 500.

About Parties, You can form a party With At least, Two Members- Maximum Party Member Number is 4, so, If you have 6 people, You will have to form two parties, One with 4 and 2 or with 3 members in each party. Multiple parties do not affect rules that I will mention below so, Don't bother with multiple parties.

If a party wants to do a quest, They first will have to inform the guild about their members and as well as their individual's ranks while registering the party to the guild before doing any quests and before dismissing The Party, They will also have to inform the guild first-

If the party consists of 4 members, With 400,200,300,300 Points- You can take quest from a board which shall not exceed (400+200+300+300=1200) 1200 Points.

About pay of quests, That depends on quest points but make sure to verify it with a worker of our Guild.

" *Sigh* And That concludes my explanation about rules and Ranks" (Meeya)

With a *Sigh* Meeya concluded the explanation since it always tiring to explain these rules for ranks to a newbie but Adger does not respond to her

But When She takes a closer look to Adger, Adger was leaning on the reception's desk with a hand supporting his head--Eyes were closed and there was this faint sound 'grrr, hmmm, I don't.. wanna eat anymore'

At that moment, Meeya Realised-- 'He slept through all of my explanation...Didn't he? GOD DAMN IT! Did he fall asleep while standing?! Were those important rules and ranks were that boring for him? THIS BRAT!! I AM NOT GONNA FUCKING WASTE MY TIME EXPLAINING ANYTHING TO HIM AGAIN!'

Meeya gently shake Adger in order to wake him up, The gentleness she showed was just a way of apologizing before she tells Adger the harsh words of reality

" *Yawn* umm... Wher...I am? Oh, Meeya? You were saying something related to S ranks? What was that again? " (Adger)

Meeya nods her head calmly first and then leans on the desk a little and said

" Please be careful on your journey. Bye. " (Meeya)

"Eh? but what about the rules? I need to know them! " (Adger)

"Well, I have already explained everything. It's not my fault that certain someone decides on sleeping while I brief him on rules and ranks. " (Meeya)

Adger opened his mouth wide open in a surprise ' Did she, Really? But..! What now? Damn it! She should explain it to them once again! It's her job after all! '

While being a little annoyed and forgetting about the How cute this tsundere girl looked, He said

"What do you mean! How I am supposed to work without even knowing god damn rules! I am gonna sue you if Died on the work, Seriously! I am gonna sue you! " (Adger)

Hearing What Adger just said, 'This brat! He seriously pisses me off! ' Meeya thought.

" Alright, Alright! I understand Though I cannot explain rules and ranks, You can buy a book about rules and ranks from the guild, Since there were a lot of stupid, Mornic, Morons, *****,***,****, newbies who neglect important of Rules of Guild or cannot understand them. By the way, If you are thinking to sue me, You should know- We, employees of Guild are only obligated to explain rules and ranks for the first time and a single time only and that I did. " *URRRGG* I understand! I will buy that god damn book! How much does it cost? " (Adger)

Adger checked his pocket, He found a total of 28 copper coins on him 'Fuck! I am almost fucking broke! If I give her 8 copper coins for the book then will I have enough for Inn? When Meeya saw Adger, Asking such a question- ' Kill a fellow Adventure?' Adger's facial expression was clearly saying ' I am gonna kill someone, Is it alright right? Even if that person happens to be an Adventurer? ' with that cold of eyes of his, which didn't show any sympathy as it did just a mere moments ago.

"Hahaha, I got you right? That's the payback for ripping me off with that book! " (Adger)

"Eh? You were jok... Aha, That scared me. For a second I thought you were serious. Anyways, You shouldn't joke around with such words, These are kind of words that can agitate other Adventurers and well, If I had to answer your joke, I will say- It is without a doubt a serious crime to kill a fellow Adventurer unless if the killing is to defend yourself- but you should avoid it by any means necessary since to prove that it was self-defense is rather hard" (Meeya)

"Yea, I will keep that in mind- Sorry if that actually scared you. Oh yea, there is something that I wanted to ask, Actually you see... I am kinda broke and Don't have a place to live, so could you suggest me a Cheap Inn which only requires less than like 20 copper coins? " (Adger) -Yup, That the serious, Important question I was talking about before...

"Oh, 20 Copper Coins? I think that would be enough for you, with you holding an Adventurer's E Rank Card, But that's only limited to the Inn that is actually founded or sponsored by Our Guild. There is The Owl's Inn, You should go there and show your guild card. "

"I understand. Thank you, Dea... Meeya. I'll be going now. Bye " (Adger)

"Yea, Sure... Bye " (Meeya)

And Adger started walking towards the exit of the Building

Meeya was left with some strange feelings for this newcomer 'What a strange kid, Though He was accepted in the guild so, He should be alright on his first ques??... Wait!'

"Oh no, I forgot to tell him that he needs to show up tomorrow for his first quest from the guild Master... Well, I can't help it now. Hehe, that brat... is doomed if he doesn't show up tomorrow." (Meeya)

{30 Min Later}

Adger came back to the Guild

"Adger? " (Meeya)

When Meeya looked at Adger, Adger was having a hard time walking, He was walking a little funny ' Is this brat seriously gonna be okay? Just what happened to him in 30 minutes! '

"Hi, Me...Meeya, Can you tell me where is this Owl's Inn? I rather spent a long time without any success in finding it " (Adger)

"Owl's Inn? ahhh... It is next to This Guild Building. " (Meeya)

" I see, Thank you. " (Adger)

"Your Welcome? And Oh, You need to come back tomorrow for your first quest, Keep that mind. " (Meeya)

" *huff* Yea sure... " (Adger)

With that, Adger once again left the Building of Adventurer's Guild.

{In Owl's Inn - Next to Adventurer's Guild (Adventurers' Guild is also known as Owl's Adventurer's Guild) }

There were a lot of people Inside Owl's Inn, Chating, Drinking, All of them were wearing some sort of armor just like before In Adventurer's Guild.

A person walked up to Adger and said

"Are you looking for someone or wants a room? We don't need spectators in our Inn-- On top of that, Kids are not allowed in here. " (Owner)

Adger touched his neck with one of his hand 'Aha, My neck started to hurts... Damn it. '

"Yea, I.. Want a room, Could you tell me the price? " (Adger)

" Its 10 Copper coins for the day, With two meals. " (Owner)

Adger couldn't look up anymore because of the pain from his neck so, He kept looking straight, Towards Owner's belly.

"I will stay for two nights, here 20 copper coins... "

He took out whatever he had from his pocket Since he knew he only has 20 copper coins so there was no need to check those coins... And then, He tried to give those 20 copper coins to Owner's belly...

"Kid, You okay? You look like some drunkard. " (Owner)

Adger kept extending his hand towards the owner's belly 'Fucker take 'em already! Maybe I should kill this mother fucker and be done with it!! His height is also pissing me off! '

*Arrgggg* (Adger)

" *Sigh* *Takes the money* Whatever, Here is your key. Your room is upstairs, Go on. " (Owner)

Adger walked upstairs, Towards a room owner pointed- He opened the gate of his room, The room itself was little cramped, There was a single bed in the room which seemed to be well-maintained with nothing else but an earthen pot (Something to hold water), A windows on side of the street outside.

'Damn, I am stupid. I think I am reaching my limit now...If I let my guard down now, I might get in trouble... The trouble that I been trying so hard to avoid for while now '

With those words, He jumped on the bed and fell asleep the moment he closed his eyes.

The next time he opened his eyes (Woke up) it was already night

" aha, that was a good sleep... Finally, I feel wide awake." (Adger)

The moment he woke up and opened his eyes, He said those line- Then he sat on the bed and started thinking

'What I should do from now? The moment I set my foot on this world, I felt a little change in me, This change is kept on bothering me. Anyways, If I say myself so, I been doing great so far-- My brain kept it up with me and I was able to deal with a lot situation which could potentially lead me to the trouble, thanks to Albert's words but... I am reaching my limit, I can't keep up with it. There were a lot of situation where I just wanted to shot the person standing in front of me Though I was able to control myself, I might not able to say it again next that I was able to control myself since I am not sure if I will be to do it again when times arrives as such as at that time in the guild ' (Adger)

"Oh yea, About shooting-- I haven't checked my guns" (Adger)

Adger took both of his guns out from his back of his shirt, Where kept them until now and put them in front of him on his bed.

"Beauties.., I miss you guys- I wish I had a chance to use you guys but-- Let me at least clean you properly. " (Adger)

Adger has two guns Beretta 92 and Magnum, Both of them are custom made- Both of guns were given to Adger by his: friends

Adger took out the magazine of Beretta 92 to check reaming ammo left in it

Beretta 92 - Berral of Adger's Beretta 92 has some marking on it as if someone had scratched it by their nails, badly. The grip of the gun has a small tattoo of Wings on both sides, On the right that wing is colored in black and on the other side it is colored in white- The color of the gun itself is black so, Right tattoo doesn't stand out too much.

Beretta 92 suppose to fire 9mm with 381m/s speed but since Adger's gun custom made, it uses two kinds of ammunition, those two are unknown ammunition which was custom made exclusively for Adger's gun-Beretta 92 by Gun Slider but the effect of one of ammo is noticeable, One of them has an impact of RPG and the other one unknown. Beretta 92 holds 17 rounds in its extended magazine

' So, Though the magazine is full the button to change bullet type is missing-- I cannot experiment with it to find out how do I change bullet type now since I don't have a source of resupply for my bullets, Every single bullet counts and I don't wanna waste them.' (Adger)

His other gun is Magnum, Its Precise model is unknown but it looks like a .357 Magnum with a long barrel- This one is also colored in black and custom made but doesn't have any sort noticeable marking on it though there is something written under the grip which is read 'Blue'. This gun also uses Two kinds of ammunition, First is same as Beretta 92 ( Consist an effect RPG ) but other is unknown

' and 5 bullets in this one? The hammer is on an empty chamber. How the hell did this? and its also missing button to change bullet type!! '

" Are these guns really mine?! "

' No, Hold on a sec!- Diana once mentioned something about, Instead of Changing bullet type manually, She could enhance the guns to d it by my voice but I refused since I love these guns the way they are... '

"Don't tell me!" (Adger)

Both of his guns had a small button on side of the grip when pressed- The ammunition type will change within two types aforementioned

Adger stood up from his bed and walked towards the windows, He stood behind the window held both of his guns with each of his hands and pointed them towards the street outside of the window in front of him 'No choice but to test it out! I hope this doesn't work! please don't work!! '

" Change Bullet Type To 1 " (Adger)

Both of his guns didn't respond and there was no visual change or sound he heard 'Hehehehe, I am sure thankful that it didn't work. I never want my guns to have meddled with stupid magic! uh? What are those guys doin'? wait, isn't that--- '

While he was checking his guns, if his guns were corrupted by magic or not- He saw two people standing outside of his Inn from his window

"Well, Whatever I'll go outside to get fresh air-- Hehehe, Fresh air it is! (Adger)

Adger left his room, Inn's Owner was still awake on the desk even though the hall was pretty much empty at that time (around 2:24 am)- Inn's Owner looks like an old man in his 60's - When Inn Owner saw Adger walking outside

"Where are you going at this hour? " (Inn's Owner)

Adger had almost walked the exit door, He stopped for second and replied

"O... Owner? Nothing, Just a stroll- " (Adger)

".....A stroll, Whatever-- The main door is always open but please, don't wander around late at night since it is the job of bandits. " (Inn's Owner)

"Oh, I understand. I'll be on way " (Adger)

The owner kept gazing at Adger while Adger walked outside from the Inn 'This kid, Did he notice? If he is what I heard-- Such tiresome work. '

Adger left Owl's Inn at 2:29 Am in the night and started to wander around on streets, Without knowing- He headed towards the slum of the city which is located in a 1st layer- He kept on walking for a while - 'As I thought, I am being followed huh? There are two of them..'

"I wonder If that asshole is trying to kill me? Hehehe This will be counted as self-defense! Finally! a chance to relive my stress-- I am so damn happy right now that I could die!" Adger strangely mumbled (Adger)

Adger turned around in a black valley, where he found no one else around and then shouted

"Yo, Assholes! You can come out now, I know you are there-- " (Adger)

And two guys emerged from shadows on the walls from both Adger's side

"Adger, It is nice to see you again. " (Unknown)

"kid! We got a chance to fucking kill you! How Ironic is that? " (Unknown)

"Hohoho, That is Ironic, Old Man and Rus.Rues... Ruks.. 20-Year-old guy. " (Adger)

"That's freaking Russhel for you brat! " (Russhel) -How hard it is to pronounce my name?

"Ruekshel? No, Rueshail? " (Adger)

"Calm down, Russhel-He is doing it on purpose, You are way too...(Stupid)... Never mind. Adger, Do you know Why we are he-- I think you already do Since you have already taken those things out and holding them in your hands, What are those things? I never saw them before- Are they your perhaps weapons? " (Old Man)

Adger was standing in front of them while holding both of his guns in each hand and both of his hands were little afar from his legs so, he wouldn't have trouble lifting his hands quickly aiming to the person standing in front of him-

"Y...Yes, You could say--- that though I would like to call them beauties instead of weapons. " (Adger)

"BRAT... " (Russhel)

Old man standing in front of Adger, Reach out his sword which was on his side, He unsheathes his sword and holds it with both of his hand before his eyes that he and Adger could see the sharpness of the sword- The sword itself looks a normal long sword which was often used in--- Russhel also draws his sword but he holds it with his right hand alone and put his other hand behind his back.

"I see, Well, Without any further ado- " (Old Man)

'This kid, He seems awfully confidence in his abilities-- if only he was a human, I might have pitied him and let him go but-- He is a demon. We cannot pity demons, No matter how much of disguise of a human child they take on! ' (Old Man)

The Old Man and Russhel were ready to fight but, suddenly Adger asks a question

" Before we start, there is something that I would like to ask both of you. " (Adger)
