《Tera: Still Untitled》Chapter 6

“I have something for you.” Estellda thrust her hand towards me, a book in her hand. It’s a travel journal. “it’s a 7 day version but that should be enough for you until the next reset.”
Smiling, I reached for the magical tome. As I touch it, I can feel a faint vibration from the artefact, pretty awesome. “Thanks Esty. I really wanted one”. I started flipping through it, disappointed to see only empty pages. “Erm is this a prank?”
Rolling her eyes, she added “No. You have to record a location in it first. Then you can use it to get back to the exact same spot.” She takes out hers and flips through it, stopping a couple of pages in, “see this is my entry for Baldera”, she points at the writing in the pages, “Red’s spot” it says, followed by a bunch of numbers.
“I see... Sorry about that, you do like pranking a little too much”
"Well I didn't think that would work, the trading, it's surprisingly identical to when I trade with other players. Interesting..." Estellda trails off, deep in thought.
"What do you mean? What's so special? You just handed it to me."
Estellda just grins without answering, confusing me further. I can’t get mad at her at all, it’s not fair. She led me to the Pegasus platform, handed the flight manager some gold and turned to me, “you do remember how to ride a Pegasus no? I’ll be right behind you”. I take the reins from her, the leather warm to touch, rays of light erupt from them. I feel my body lighten as my feet lifts off the platform, light rays racing around me, the traces of light becoming dense in the shape of a winged station. I hear a short neigh as the pegasus takes shape. Gripping tightly on the reins, I lurch forward with the acceleration as the powerful wings forced the air around me downwards. It only took a few flaps and already I could hardly make out the features on Estellda’s face as I quickly ascend.

The pegasus circles around Lumbertown, the view breath taking, I forgot how much I liked pegasus rides. I caught a short glimpse of Bree still dancing on the fountain as the beast started picking up speed before making a straight towards the flight gates suspended in mid air.
As I fly through it, pieces of reality peels away, leaving behind a blur of blue arcane magic. The space around me distorts and stretches, like flying through a living tunnel with no end in sight. Looking back, I see ripples forming in the arcane fabric, then a visible distortion before Estellda and her pegasus emerges from it.
Our eyes lock, oh it’s on! I tug hard on the reins making the Pegasus fly faster. I lean close to my Pegasus, keeping my profile as low as possible, knowing Estellda is doing the same to catch up. I hear myself laughing, it’s been a while since I had such fun.
The flight ended way too soon, one moment I’m blazing through the fast scape, the next I’m blinded by day light as I emerge on the other side, the city of Allemanthiea looms before me, the tall spires just as I remembered them to be. It’s been too long, I’m finally home.

Curiosity Killed The Imp
A/N: On hiatus (higher priority). The story is planned out but I need to do some rewriting for clarity and cohesiviness. Still very interested in the story though. Aeris is a place of endless conflict. Bloody evolution is the way forward, and the closed fist is the path given. Life is a luxury granted only to the strong. In a tiny corner, at the edge of a volcanic land, is born an imp. An imp no different from any other save one thing. An anomaly in its code. A blip in its creation. For unlike other imps, this one was born…curious. Book Cover by Betty Elgyn: https://www.deviantart.com/bettyelgyn

White Mystic Fox In A Radical World
Under the cloak of midnight, behind the faint creaking sounds of metal bars, staring into the vast beautiful garden of twinkling stars and the gentle, lovely blue moon as its host, was the only fox girl living in the desolate mountain ranges of Maryland with an unknown background. The gleaming reflection of those flickering flowers in her meekly eyes, as well as her blossoming countenance of hardships, demonstrate both her innocence and independence, which has never been tainted by the outside world. A lovely flower eventually touched after thousands of years of living in peace, some bad elements plucked that flower from its natural habitat. The white fox girl never knows what's good and bad, letting them cage her effortlessly without minding their evil sneers because of her over-the-clouds excitement. Finally, the white fox girl realizes she has been treated as nothing more than a prey item ready to be devoured. She's staring at the night skies for a long time and slowly closes her eyes once she gets that divine premonition from somewhere else. It was soothing in the mind. Her lovely smile showed acceptance with tears flowing through her pinkish cheeks, and her consciousness began fading away. Before her senses faded, that glowing angel descended, knelt in front of her, and wiped away her tears. She doesn't know how to express her gratitude to the heavens above for blessing her with a fulfilling and peaceful life. Even if it was a mere single moment, that gratitude and that smile of hers were the happiest things she could ever express. Time has passed, and the sun has risen from its slumber. The soul of the thousand-year-old white fox girl finally ascended to heaven, leaving her lifeless, cold body behind, leaning against rusted metal poles. It was the most peaceful death everyone wished for. Painless and no regrets. The men in charge of the front didn't notice anything out of the ordinary going on behind them. Well... In common perspective and also in reality, a caged dead fox girl at the back of a horse-drawn carriage is no less than a funeral procession. Book found also on wattpad and webnovel.

I, Mor-eldal: The Necromancer Thief
As a budding little necromancer, I soon discovered that the world of city people is complicated. When my master kicked me out of the cave, he warned me not to talk about my “dark” magic, because people here don't like the undead. I am not really an undead, I just have a skeleton hand, but it is better to be careful. Anyway, that's not my biggest worry. In the Black Dagger brotherhood, I learn a lot of things, such as illusionist magic, which turns out to be quite handy to survive in this maze of streets: in the Cat Quarter, we have thugs of all kinds that are best avoided. But we also have good people, goodhearted “gwaks”, as we say around here. Little did I know that I would soon be caught up in an infamous traffic that would entangle my life even more. With a mix of lighthearted adventure and picaresque, this story narrates the hectic life of a good-spirited street child and his companions in a medieval urban fantasy setting with some nineteenth-century influences. Updates Mondays and Fridays. This is a Creative Commons By work. It is a translation of a trilogy I wrote in Spanish between 2017 and 2018.
