Kyle then mounted on his white horse. As he sat on horse ladle, he held it's neck from behind with both of his hand.

Usually, horse rider use reins to control their horse, but Kyle holds his horse neck very tight. The horse felt angry and try to jump up and down. It also makes roughed movement to throw Kyle from it's back. Every time it tried to make any roughed movement, Kyle hold it's neck tighter. It felt pains, like a heavy rope choking its neck.

Kyle holds his horse neck very rough. He holds it's neck so tight at first, then he relaxes his hands. When the horse tries to rebel again, he holds it's neck tight. He doesn't want his horse to feel like it was a noble horse rode by a beggar, he will make his horse beg the beggar.

Conrad, who saw the situation said to Kyle, "that's the first time I saw someone ride a horse like you. You're lucky that your horse is a noble bred one, so it was easily tame. If you do that to wild mustang horse, I think you will be kicked away."

Conrad mounted his horse with ease. When Conrad rub his horse head, it bowed in a graceful manner. Conrad then held his rein as he mounted his horse, "now, follow me. Frouis city is located between 3 borders of Eldeize Continent."

Conrad used his rein and kicked his horse body lightly. His horse, understanding his master intention then walked away.

Kyle used another method. He smacked his horse head with his right hand and it's neighed angrily. He smacks his horse again and again. "Hey horsey, horsey. Follow that horse will you," Kyle ordered as he points at Conrad's horse that has walked far away. Although his horse felt angry in its heart, but it still followed it's master instruction and walked slowly.

When Kyle saw how far Conrad has left him, he smacked his horse again, "walk faster lazy horse," making his horse run faster as it neighed loudly.

They walk along the main road that is paved with stone, usually used by travelers and merchants. As Kyle rode beside Conrad, he asked, "how long does it take to reach Frouis city?"

"Usually, it will take 3 to 4 days. At night, we'll just camp anywhere near the main road. It is faster to go through the forest, but as you just learn how to ride a horse, I don't think that's a good idea," said Conrad to Kyle.

Like Conrad said, Elderam kingdom is made of jungles and mountain. As Ragtown was near Elderam's border, they can go straight to Frouis city which is located between 3 nation's border by crossing the jungle. Although this kingdom's jungle is filled with wild animals and dangerous monsters, but for Conrad, it was like a lion travelling along kitten's land.

Kyle, who heard he was a novice horse rider look at Conrad with heavy eyes, but still kept his silence. Like Conrad had said, if his horse was a wild mustang horse, he will be kicked and drag around for 3 days straight before his horse can calm down.

Kyle then rubs his horse head gently, knowing how lucky he is to have a pure bred horse. His horse, who always been smacked by its master felt weird, but just ignore it to prevent future trouble.

They travel from morning to evening and stop near the main road at night. Whenever they are resting, Conrad always let out his big tent, a portable hut and also delicious grains for the horse.

"Even I only eat rough bread every day. You're a damn lucky horse to be fed like this just by getting an owner. I don't even know being a peasant or noble's horse is a better lifestyle," said Kyle as he fed his horse. He also needs to bathe his horse with shampoo and comb it's hair in a gentle manner every night or it will neigh loudly.

For these 3 days, Kyle repeats lifestyle of rich adventure. He slept inside Conrad's comfortable tent, he bathed hot water every morning and night, he ate delicious foods. It felt like a dream come true.

But one thing doesn't change is his poor riding skill. Although he used fewer smacks on his horse, but he needs to use his hand to point direction, unlike Conrad who only used rein and soft kicking.

As Kyle smacked his horse once, it moved and as Kyle smacked his horse twice, it stopped. That's how Kyle controlled his horse in these 3 days. Luckily, his horse has become more obedient so he doesn't need to use too much violence.

They then reach a road, where they saw many big and small carriages. Some of the carriages travel alone and some travel with groups. Some carriages were guards by a group of mercenaries, soldiers, and bodyguard. Kyle also saw few riders mounting their horse, who were wearing armor with a red cape tied on their back. There is a shield emblem at the middle of the cape, and Kyle knew who they were, The Order's warden.

What Kyle felt weird was why Conrad doesn't wear any cape. He just wears fine leather armor and mithril breastplate with Order's emblem.

Kyle and Conrad then rode closer to Frouis city's tall wall that made purely out of stone. There, Kyle saw 2 main gates. The first gates have long lines made of carriages with many wares, soldiers in steel armour, mages who were wearing robes with their long staff and commoners that wear better clothes compare to Kyle.

The process at that gate was very slow. Guards, who were wearing armour with lion emblem on their chest were checking everything, merchant's wares, soldiers and mages identity, commoners document and many more tedious process.

The second gate was guards by a group of rich looking knights and mages. Compare to the first gate, Kyle saw the process entering it was smoother. Only noble's carriages and knights can go through that gate.

As Kyle follow Conrad to the second gate, they were greeted by knights in the red cape. They seem to hold Conrad in high regard, as when he passed by, they greeted him respectfully,

"Morning Chief, coming back from a mission?"

"Morning Chief, I heard you manage to kill a high-rank chaos user alone."

They salute Conrad with awe, but when they saw Kyle, a poor looking peasant in rag clothes, they stare at him weirdly, ‘what the hell a peasant doing with Chief Conrad?' as they don't want to be disrespectful, they still greeted him by simply saying "good morning."

When Kyle and Conrad arrived at the second gate, all the guards salute in respect while saying, "good morning Chief Conrad," and immediately let him pass, but when Kyle want to enter the city, they stopped him, "hold commoner. You must use the 1st gate to enter Frouis city."

"It's ok," said Conrad calmly, "he's with me."

"Well, if you say so Chief."

As Kyle passed the gate, he is like a frog just climbing out from a well and saw a large, beautiful pond. He saw buildings so high and made of stone. There were many different peoples in here. He saw men and women who have pale white skin like snow and exotic tan skin, and this city is huge.

If in Ragtown, Kyle only needs to walk to go anywhere, but here, he doubts it. The road was busy with carriages and horses passing through and at least 4 times wider than Ragtown's road. He even doubted he can walk in this city from eastern border, from which he entered earlier, to western border in one day.

As Kyle still look in awe at his surrounding, Conrad's break his pace as he said, "we need to find you some clothes and daily necessities. You'll need daily clothes, training clothes, a set of armour and also magic weapon."

Kyle, who heard Conrad's voice felt ached in his heart. How could he buy so many goddamn clothes if he doesn't even have 1 silver coin in his pocket. Not to mention anything, even cheapest leather armour made poorly by animal hide at least cost 5 silver coins, and that is only body armour. To mention armour set, he needs to buy leather armour, gloves guard, knees guard, and if he had some money, a breastplate to cover his chest part. That is what it means to have a complete armour set.

Some people like to wear complete steel armour like knights. The problem is, chainmail is goddamn heavy and expensive. The first problem is the heaviness of chainmail armour. Although Kyle body is muscular similar to a veteran soldier, but he doesn't like to wear anything that restricted his movement. The second problem, which is also the main problem, is the expensiveness of steel armor set. Even the poorest performance chainmail at least cost 40 silver coins.

"As you look completely broke, I'll buy them for you. Let's buy clothes first at middle eastern district," said Conrad while leading Kyle around Frouis city. Right now, Kyle was at ‘lower eastern district'. It's not like outskirt part of Ragtown which is filled with shacks and huts. Here, the poorest building that Kyle saw is a large, 3 storey building made of many doors. He can see people walking around that large building and they used stairs to go up and down.

"This district is where commoners live. That building is called an apartment," explain Conrad, "tenants in that building will pay rent to apartment's owner each month or buy it if they have money."

They then went to a district called ‘middle eastern district', 3 miles from main gate entrance. There, Kyle saw many lined up shops, inns, several house and apartments, but their design is more expensive looking. Kyle saw different type of shops which is clothes shops, armor shops, dining restaurants, and also small café which sold deserts. Kyle and Conrad then park their horses in a nearby stable. The stable service includes taking care of horses, feeding horses, taking care of merchant and noble's carriages, and also repairing carriages. The payment depends on what type of services customer want. Conrad told the stable owner to feed their horses and pay him 2 silver coins.

Kyle and Conrad then entered one shop in this district. Inside, he saw many lined up clothes displayed for customer's view.

"Welcome, dear customer. How may I help you?" ask shop owner.

"Find this boy 3 set of daily clothes, and 2 set of light clothes made with tough fabric," replied Conrad as he told Kyle to follow shop owner.

Kyle then tried a different type of clothes. Black trouser, white trouser, rough black pant, white cotton shirt, vest and much more. After trying many different types of clothes, he decided to take 1 red jacket with attached hood, 2 long sleeve shirts, 3 short sleeve shirts made from cotton, 2 short sleeve shirts made with rough fabric for training purpose, 4 trousers, and 1 belt.

"Dear customer, everything is 35 silver coins. Thank you for your purchases," Kyle then take a shopping bag from the shop owner. He changed his clothes from rag tunic to short sleeve blue shirt, hooded jacket, black trouser and a belt around his waist.

After that, they entered another shop which sells different types of armours. Kyle can see many leather armours, chain mails, and plate mails with different designs displayed.

Kyle browsed every type of leather armours, from long sleeve one to short sleeve, and what type of material is it made. He also browsed breastplates, gloves, arm protectors, knee protectors and boots. He checked every detail to make sure he can wear it for a long time as he knew he cannot possibly buy it with his money.

After choosing for a while, he said to store owner, "excuse me, may I test that long sleeve leather armour, that steel breastplate with black cotton hood, those black gloves, that steel knee protector and that black boot."

Kyle then wears his complete set of armour and test it by swinging his arm, walking, punching and jumping lightly. He tested their weight, their mobility, whether it fits his body or not, and their toughness.

After satisfied with his choice, shop owner came to them and said, "as you can see, the leather is made very tough and comfortable. That steel on your breastplate and knee guard is made of very fine steel. The total price is 80 silver coins."

Kyle had a shocked expression on his face.
